Lottie and Matt have always been good at keeping secrets…
Which is lucky when their friendship is crushed after spending the night together. Their fractured relationship becomes just another toxic secret they have to keep between themselves.
When the pair find themselves unable to turn down a free holiday with their closest friends, they soon realise they must pretend to be as close as they always had been so as not to raise suspicions or make the trip a total disaster.
Forced to spend time with each other as the only singletons, old tensions and unresolved arguments begin to stir. Their friendship used to be such a natural extension of who they were that to deny it starts to feel physically painful…so Lottie comes up with a plan. A plan for them to fake it instead.
Fake laughter, fake smiles, fake fun friend dates.
Fake. Fake. Fake.
Sooooooo fake that at times it seems real…
As the snowy landscape of Norway starts to pull them closer together, truths and confessions begin to slip through the cracks of their steely exteriors. Their ability to keep secrets from one another begins to weaken whilst their friends begin to cotton on to the fact that everything is not what it seems.
But with so much history between them, can they learn to forgive one another, forget their actions and potentially… fall back into each other’s lives?
Melissa Morgan released her debut Forget Me Not in May 2020. An active reader her whole life, she can often be found with her head in a book or trying her hardest to see everything that has ever been put on stage. Melissa used to work in television production before following her passion for swimming and scuba diving to become a safety diver on film sets, as well as a marine biologist with the Ocean Conservation Trust. She spends a lot of daylight hours under water.
The first two books were definitely more better. The miscommunication between killed me at times, I really wish they learnt much quicker. Maybe if I had read the third book straight after the other two, I would have loved it more. The ending, however, had my whole heart - We will always love Leo 🫶🏾. Overall, Melissa really has a beautiful way of describing love. The first book in the trilogy was life altering for me and nothing can replace that.
This was everything i wanted and more omg that ending too!! Im still crying😢 😭 I adore this series so much, I reccomend them to literally everyone. Melissas writing is just completely captivating and sucks you right in. I have been known to skim parts of some books, especially lately but I just cant do that with these books. I need to know every single detail on the page and I'm completely hooked. Cant wait to read your next book ❤️
4,5 🌟 I’ve been waiting for this book since the beginning of February when I read the other two in the series. It was worth the wait, although there were some frustrating moments as there always are with second chance romances. Eleven years?? 11?! 11!! That was a bit too much for such a misunderstanding to go on. I felt really bad for Lottie to have to date such abusive assholes in both timelines when Matt was right there (if only he went to therapy earlier).
Other things that stayed with me: * Lottie was just diving head first in extremely dangerous situation - the frozen lake and the key outside the apartment when she lives alone * when they wanted to let Craig leave before the police got there ??! I’m so glad he got arrested, I hate it when bad people’s actions have no real consequences in books * tbh, I wished there was no break-up towards the end, it was too predictable, especially since the first two books had similar separations around the 80% mark. I wished they fought more for their relationship (and their personal growth) together, considering the LONG separation they already went through * I loved the Leo part of the epilogue, it made me teary eyed
Overall, I enjoyed the book. I loved how the romance progressed and I loved how they slowly relearned how to love and trust each other. Looking forward to other books by the author. Maybe Neil’ story? 🤔😆

Just amazing... Melissa has a talent and an extremely powerful way with words that you won't find easily She can transport you to a reality of people who went back in time and now are trying to make things better. She can make you love primrose hill. She can make you cry. She can make you smile. She can make you feel. She can make you travel around with Matt, Lottie, Lizzie, Charles, Kenneth, Bex, Daniel, Amy and every single person that she introduced us. People. Real people! Because they are not just some characters in a book, they became real through her words and as I love them, I know everyone else will too This book was the perfect ending to a perfect trilogy, and even if I know that I'll miss it, I'm feeling my heart warm and filled with comfort Thank you, Melissa. Thank you for giving us this world that you created. Thank you for all your hard work. Thank you for giving us the honour of becoming a part of this story. Thank you for being an amazing human that deserves the best! I will be excited to read your next story if you ever decide to write it, I totally recommend it!!!! ♥️
Good things certainly come to those who wait. I’ve been desperate to read this since reading the last book. Dying to know how Lottie and Matts story will unfold. The back drop of Norway was the perfect setting for this romance that is slowly developing into something truly special. There’s something about Lottie as a character that feels so real. Maybe with her being a character I relate more than the others but the dialogue just flows and makes her along with the other characters feel like old friends.
If you’re a fan of romance than make sure you pick up this one! If you’ve not read the first 2, what are you waiting for?! Go go go!
4.5 I have absolutely adored this series and all of the characters, It’s so bittersweet that it’s now over. I really enjoyed this final instalment even though I absolutely looaaatheee the miscommunication trope BUT just this once I’m willing to overlook it as I got to see every character from each book finally have their happy ending, and really what more can I ask for?
A wonderful end to an amazing series of books. Reading this book is like sitting down with old friends. I love Lottie so much and I think we all can relate to her in so many ways. And Matt is just a babe🥰 So beautifully written and I literally finished the book in one evening. I gasped, I laughed and I sobbed. Honestly just read these books ASAP.
3.75 One thing about this author is she lovesss to throw a curveball and one things about these annoyingly cute characters they love to prolong their silly pain. BUT THE BIGGEST TRAGEDY IS NEILS BOOK. Where is it queen? Why are we saying bye to this world? THE JOURNEY IS NOT OVER YET. Let's get to writing much appreciated x
A great, albeit bittersweet end to a beautiful trilogy
I loved the characters in this series from the first book. I love how Melissa (the author) has created a great support system for each of the MC in each book. I loved Bex’s brothers in the second book but my favourite are the Williams and the scenes with heir family interactions are my favourite. These stories are based around a love story but what I enjoyed and appreciated most were the intricacies of the bonds of family, friends and comradeship of characters. Having read a lot of romance fiction, I have to applaud this series for passing the Bechdel test. Also describing characters with tact so that they personalities were not solely based on their diversities. I’d have loved a scene between Lottie and her mother, Maria. But otherwise this book has brought closure to a wonderful world created in this series. I cannot wait for this book to be released in print because even though the cover is beautiful and will look great on any book shelf, I definitely will want to read this series again.
