I finally found my mate from the Desert Hills territory, after walking nearly the entire length of its borders. The problem is, he doesn't count. There's a clause in the magical guide to mates that if a partner isn't from your world, they can't represent a territory. Then there's Donny, who insists on waiting for me until I find a proper Desert Hills mate, because he's convinced the prophecy his family told him means the world will quite literally burn down if he doesn't wait his turn. The problem with that thinking is, is that his family's likely not completely with it and they forgot about the prophecy. So what place does that leave me in Donny's life?
Kelsey Soliz is a homeschooling mama of four and army wife, and when she's not drinking copious amounts of tea or playing bassoon, she is dreaming up all kinds of romance story scapes or reading them like a maniac.
I feel like the journey through this series keeps getting better and better. For me, this book made me laugh and make me reread parts so I could laugh some more. The way it is written is quite cathartic, I haven’t read a lot of books recently that have allowed me to laugh while also enjoy the writing style. The personalities are also very UNpredictable as well as the story. I’m glad that this series has NOT been predictable and I feel like the author knows what she’s doing…but at the same time goes completely off the rails by giving us some really bonkers content that is also quite enjoyable and also makes me think, “how the heck did she think of that” 🤯🤯🤯. Honestly, I had a rough day today, and this book made me feel really happy to read it and not the feelings of frustration I would get when reading books. Solid 5. Also read this in 5 hours so not too bad.
Kelsey Soliz is an amazing author. So much fun to read. This whole series was just crazy. I didn't know from chapter to chapter if I would be laughing or crying. I loved the cliffhanger here, I was almost happy crying and I'm ready to jump off that cliff to get to book 5. Beautiful characters, sad funny loveable stories for each one. A lot of very broken people who just need to be loved.
I so did not see that mess happening with Donny. The guys and Rory were just as funny with their antics in this one. It's really hard to read in bed and not die laughing. You know cuz your supposed to be sleeping and not shaking the mattress from laughter. Oh and the new guys!!! Perfect! Can we get book 5 asap please!
This book will have you all in a spin! There’s SO much going on that I don’t even know where to pin point first. Between new potential mates, threats, loss, love, danger, misunderstandings Nd crazy situations you will be kept on your toes throughout! I’m looking forward to seeing what’s to come next for this lot as the ending of this book had me laughing out loud! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
It actually took me quite a while to read this fourth installment in the Territory Walk series. After the whole Caden thing I was a little scared of what Kelsey's characters would do next, but I really needn't have been so anxious. Any stressful scenes were handled really well so I never felt overwhelmed. Rory and her mates are steadily marching toward their HEA, one territory at a time <3
This is one of the most entertaining books and series that I’ve ever read. The dreamscapes have me cackling with laughter and I love the banter between the characters. I’m really enjoying the story and can’t wait to read the next book. I would recommend giving this book a read.
I absolutely love this series. Can’t wait for the next one like yesterday. I love the characters and the mfc is not full of drama or whiny. The guys are supportive and sexy.
So, I totally LOVED Gabby and her guys. Truly. And now we get Rory and the dreams? Hell yes! Donny, Donny, Donny..smh. Not sure how that's going to figure out. Jameson... dude! Why can't guys listen?! I love this series so far, and am so excited for the rest!
Much like the Hemlock Academy series, as the numbers of mates increases my investment in them decreases. I'll probably finish the series, but it's not killing me that the next book isn't it yet.
I’m so freaking disappointed in Donny he totally let me down in this book what a spineless twat waffle . I can’t believe him and I hope he gets a beat down he deserves.
Wow...gotta say, this has been the best book so far in the series. I’m really digging this new harem that is Rory’s destined mates. Told from all POV. The dreams that Rory spins are the best yet...it just keeps getting better lol. There’s something about Rory that draws you in...that vulnerable, quirky character that just lets it all hang out. Definitely into the developing MFM that has been happening and looking forward to seeing how that pans out. Surely going to have to read the Hemlock series again.
