I admire the many authors for participating in this worthy anthology. There is much to read: I’ve barely touched the surface. Below is a brief review of the ones I’ve read thus far
Bearly Holding On: Wilder country - Honey Phillips ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Alice is an admirable woman: she works hard, looks out for the people she likes. I adore Jonah! He’s a smooth-talking, laid back, yet compelling fella who is enamored of Alice. Mess with his woman? You’ll be very sorry! An excellent story!
Night Capers - Anna Carven ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A delightful slice of life with Tarak and Abbey. I do so love these Kordolian stories!
Jax-Xon - Alana Khan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I think Tara and Danielle really lucked out when they are rescued by Jax-Xon. This is a very appealing story of a human woman falling in love with a tall, green alien male.
Angel and the Alien Brute - Hattie Jacks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Aah, yes. Nothing like a human woman to soothe the savage beast! Very entertaining!
This wonderful romance collection benefiting Ukraine is a bargain that will fill more than two weeks of reading time.
Foreword points out that all proceeds will support Ukrainian refugees.
Acknowledgments do just that.
A Note on Heat Levels and Trigger Warnings should be taken seriously, although in a couple of places I have adjusted them to reflect what the younger people I know find tolerable.

This Anthology features over 1,000 pages of romantic urban fantasy, sci-fi romance, and paranormal romance from more than 40 generous authors who are donating their time to help Ukrainian refugees affected by the recent tragedy. Please give your generous thanks to these awesome authors and buy your copy to offer your own support. It will definitely be appreciated.
Some authors featured include: Eva Chase, Honey Phillips, Anna Carven, Tana Stone, Michele Mills, G.K. DeRosa, Ella Blake, Hattie Jacks, T.K. Eldridge, Grace Goodwin, Debbie Cassidy, Kel Carpenter & Aurelia Jane, Leslie Chase, Jade Waltz, May Sage & Alexi Blake, Sara Fields, Veronica Scott, Ashley McLeo, Jessica Wayne, Tameri Etherton, and many more that were not listed in the blurb!
The book is divided into Short Stories, Novelettes, Novellas & Novels, and First Chapters. Heat levels for the stories are provided in the Table of Contents. With so many to choose from, I am not leaving a quick review as I usually do. But with the well-known authors contributing to this Anthology, many whose books I regularly read, you can be sure that there will be lots of awesome stories to keep you entertained. And your purchase is for a wonderful cause as the world seems to be pulling together to help people. I am so overwhelmed by these acts of kindness from so many.
First of all, I want to say thank you to the authors of this anthology for volunteering their time and energy in order to put this together and then for donating the proceeds to help Ukraine.
I genuinely enjoyed this anthology. However, I will say that I think being familiar with some of the authors' other works would make reading a few of these stories more enjoyable.
Two of my favorite short stories in this series were Swept Away by Alora Carter and One Night in Mayfair by Chloe Parker
Swept Away is presented as a stand alone, but came across as more of prequel for me. It's a contemporary paranormal romance, which while not very spicy was very sweet. I love how the main character not only finds love but comes to realize that her life is not what she wants. And even better she decides to make some drastic changes.
One Night in Mayfair is definitely a prequel that makes me want to pick up In Her Thrall by Chloe Parker. It's set in the post WWII era and tackles PTSD as well as a bit of a sexual awakening for one of the main characters. If you enjoy steamy paranormal romance reads then I really think you'd enjoy this one
Wow so many great stories and for such a great cause!! Swept Away-Alora Carter- I read this one enjoying every bit of it! Small romance, friendship, elementals and science! This story totally makes the box set worth the purchase! But here comes Wolfish initiation by G.K DeRosa and yet again I am swept away to another world with supernaturals, romance and looks like a great academy type story!! If I can have such great luck with my random picks you will too!! Pick this one up!!
An amazing group of authors have come together to give us some incredible stories. The minute I knew that Jessica Wayne was featured in this set, I know I had to give this a read and as always her story stood out to me.
I was always intrigued with Jack and Willa as they both had such intense chemistry, so when it came about that Jessica Wayne was writing a story based on them both because her readers wanted more, I was honestly excited as I had no idea how she would do it. I loved how we got to go back to the beginning and got to see how things were for Jack and that he was determined to get answers about what happened with Delany. It’s clear that he’s torn up about how everything happened, but all he wants is to seek answers because it’s only fair to his best friend who he loved that he get justice for her. I thought that Jack and Willa were an interesting choice of characters, but still they both managed to nail everything perfectly, they had the right amounts of chemistry and they just seemed to fit together so well. Jessica did a great job at giving them this story, even though it was only a short one, it was still something that we was able to latch onto and just love. Jessica has a way with her words that she knows how to keep her audience hooked, and that says so much about her writing, she’s got real talent and only just outdoes herself with each book she writes. There was nothing I could fault with this short story, if anything I was just so caught up that I didn’t realise that I was at the end, I just loved everything about it. I have no idea what’s in store next or if we’ll get another book for Willa, but either way I’m excited for whatever Jessica brings us.
Jack has hated he wasn’t able to keep Delany alive, the fact that he has no idea why things turned out they did is eating him alive. Yet he is determined to find answers because it’s the least her sister is owed. Jack is a born Hunter, and he only tends to hunt those that have murdered innocents for no real reason, but he also knows that he has to be careful otherwise he’ll end up outing who and what he is. Willa has been taken away from everything that she has only ever known and loved and now with it being so close to her getting married she wishes that she could just escape for good. With being forced into a marriage that she doesn’t want or need, she can’t help but wish that someone listens to her and sets her free. When both Jack and Willa receive invitations to the Monster Ball, what will happen on this magically amazing night??? Will they just have the one night or will this be the key to set them both free?????
I didnt read all the books. I read the authors I know.
Sold to the Enemy - Sara Fields
I actually read this one before in 2018. It was part of the Alien Alphas series. This is what I post back then. HOLY MOLY!!!! That was some serious rough, hot, sweaty, sex. OMG!!! Please tell me later on there will be more to the story. I mean, geeeeez who wouldn't want there to be more to the story. You never fail to deliver. I do have to admit that I love the description of the "President" from earth. Dirty politics and corrupt. How greed and certain members of society contributed to his campaign funds, given special privileges. Sounds so true to today. LOL And the fact that he saw the strength in her is heartwarming. But the sex out ways that all, as always.
Chapter 1 of Beast Charming - Grace Goodwin
Warlord Tane was the lucky or unlucky choice for the new Beast Bachelor. 300 women to choose from but not one "the one." Until "SHE" showed up. Elena was with here friend Dominque to get their bratty charge. Who knew that Elena would find her prince? I am so looking forward to finding out what happens.
A good collection for a great cause. There were some great stories and some not so great. There was amazing writing, and there was flat writing. Overall, though, there were stories that writers told the best way they could: with words and passion.
The ones I enjoyed the most were all novelettes: Nightfall (Maggie Alabaster), Found by the Alien Lord (Ella Blake), Beyond the Stars (Debbie Cassidy), Wolfish Initiation (G. K. DeRose), and Sett's Salvation (T.K. Eldridge). Of those, T.K. Eldridge's Salvation was the best story for me in the collection. It featured great writing, characters and pacing.
Finally, I can personally understand and celebrate this snippet from Miranda Honfleur's intro bio to Slay Date: "In another life, her J.D. and M.B.A. were meant to serve a career in law, but now she gets to live her dream job: writing speculative fiction starring fierce heroines and daring heroes who make difficult choices along their adventures and intrigues, all with a generous (over)dose of romance."
Thanks for stopping by to view this charity anthology. As one of the contributing authors I can say that it was a pleasure to work alongside such a fantastic selection of authors to bring this charity anthology to life.
Each other has written a piece they love. My novelette is Something Right. Did you know the book is named after a song by Michael Learns to Rock by the same name (they are one of my favourite bands!).
Something Right is the first story that I wrote where the characters are out of high school. I liked the idea of a dragon shifter having to make a tough choice and a girl who was determined to make a connection with the guy she liked.
If you have a moment please leave your thoughts about the stories you read from the anthology.
If you missed reading mine it has now been released and can be found at at most retailers >> Something Right
This, too, is a book that I should stop pretending I'm still actively reading. It's nothing against the book because I'm loving most of the stories, but it's a very long book with so many stories that I'll admit I got a little overwhelmed by it, so I decided to take an indefinite break.
I'm finding some new favourite authors in this (I may have a colour-coded spreadsheets just for anthologies) and love the variety of stories, heat levels, and story lengths. Personally, I'm not a fan of including the first few chapters of a longer story in an anthology because they're not complete stories, but there aren't that many in this. I kinda wish it had marked the ones that aren't complete in themselves so I could skip them, but that's my personal preference. (and it may well have done, but I don't remember seeing it)
I'm looking forward to continuing this one day and finding more new favourite authors. First, I need a breather <3
I actually bought this collection purely because of the cause it supported, and frankly even if you’re not a fan of urban fantasy romance I’d urge you to get it just because of that. Having that that, on second glance I was pretty amazed by the talent that contributed to the collection. Forty talented authors, including several - Eva Chase, Miranda Honfleur, Demelza Carlton, Kel Carpenter and KN Lee - who are among my all-time favorites and seem incapable of writing anything that’s not superb. Their contributions here certainly met that bar, and frankly there were lots of gems in the other contributions, all of which were fun a large number of which were really great. So, come out for the cause, but you’ll definitely stay for the enjoyment here. No surprise I most definitely recommend this collection.
Now I love anthologies because they introduce me to one of two things: new stories and new authors. And, boys and girls, did this delivery. Yes, there were a few authors who I already knew (Chase, Phillips, Jacks, Khan, Charleton, Goodwin) so I knew those stories were going to be good but the other authors and stories, WOW, they had me page-turning from one to the next. Like Shadow City by Grey, Nightfall by Alabaster, One Wicked Night by Etherton, and Slay Date by Honfleur. I want to include more because there are so many more new authors I found that I need to read more on now. But I will say this, grab snacks and stay hydrated while reading this cause time goes all wonky while reading this. So enjoy because it's a must read in my books!!
I'm a huge fan of charity anthologies and this one has something for every syfy romance and urban fantasy readers. It's also a good cause, helping Ukrainian aid. There are everything from short stories to novelles and some first chapter sneak peaks to introduce the reader to upcoming books in progress. Heat levels and triggers are clearly marked so every reader can find something without surprised. I haven't made it through the entire collection, but have enjoyed tales from three of my favorite authors, Honey Phillips, May Sage and Veronica Scott and I look forward to reading Lea Kirk (another fav) and discovering some new to me authors. Enjoy!
This one took me a bit to get through. I didn't read all the stories in full as some were a little too spicy for my taste.
I appreciated the fact there was a mix of romance levels. I do lean more YA and some NA so I sought out those stories first before trying a few authors I had heard of but never read before.
I preferred the full story ones - I don't mind if it's a novella or short story or whatever but I didn't enjoy the sample chapters at all.
Overall I found several new authors to read which is great. I also like that the book is for charity and considering how many stories are in it I will say it's worth the money.
This is an amazing Anthology by authors of Romantic Urban fantasy, Science Fiction and paranormal to support Ukraine. There are so many authors in this book many are new to me, so this is a great way to give support and meet new authors. One of my favourite authors Honey Phillips has a story Bearly Hanging On – This is another great story from Honey about a mature couple, it has all the Honey magic! There is so many to read, I am just getting started! This is a great collaboration and worth your time. I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.

I was familiar with several of these caring authors (shout out to Debbie Cassidy), but found some new authors to start following❣️
Just finished it, and I wanted to let you know... this is such an amazing bundle! :D Sci-fi isn't usually my cup of tea, but already I have added so many books to my reading list.
First, I have to say that not all short stories or novellas are for me, but I don't mind. I just skip those and continue reading. They are perfect for getting to know the authors and how they write; even if you know and have read books from the author, you might not have read that particular story. And last but not least... it's for charity, so pick it up and enjoy it!
Incredible collection of stories from a group of brilliant and caring authors. I've read several stories from the collection so far - there are so many it's possible to get through too many in one sitting, though I really tried! This collection was a lovely way to find new authors and I appreciated having the "heat" levels clearly marked. There's definitely something for everyone in here, no matter one's general reading preferences. Highly recommend!

This is such a great anthology! I'm only around 20% in but I'm loving it. I often find that there are stories in anthologies that I don't like, but I've genuinely liked every story so far. This is a great way to find new authors and there are quite a few that I want to check out more of their work from.
This box ser is a wonderful way for you to help a good cause and also be able to check out all the talented authors, and in my case find some new ones! The box set contains something for everyone paranormal, sci-fi, and fantasy romances. They are all quick reads but for such a hastily put together collect great fun.
This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great drama and romance with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
This is an awesome collection of stories put together for an awesome cause. Found some new to me authors that I will definitely be reading more from and enjoyed reading from some of my favorite authors as well. Consider purchasing this anthology not just because of the amazing stories but to help the Ukrainian people♥️♥️
What a great bunch of short stories. The storylines where entertaining and the interaction between the characters was great. I can't wait for more from these authors. I received this book as a Free ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
This is a great collection of stories from many authors! Quite a few that I love and have read many of their stories and some new to me as well. I find this inspiring as it is for a great cause! Loved Them All!!!
I've never read a better bunch of authors, who wrote such great stories, So many heroes and heroines. I also love the cause. They showed us what it means to be compassionate. Guaranteed a great read!!!
What a wonderful way to find new authors! I'm reading through the stories, some authors are familiar, some not, some of the stories are rivetting, some not my particular taste, but overall, a great huge volume to keep everyone entertained
Absolutely support and admire the hard work of all the authors and those who worked on the book, giving 100% of the profits to the humanitarian cause in Ukraine.
The two stars are for the stories themselves. I actually only found two stories in here that I enjoyed and wanted to finish. I would still recommend buying the book as there is surely something for every romance reader in here. Plus it's for a good cause.
