About the author

It all started when she learned to read at five. One of her first and favorite memories is of words taped to all the objects in the house. Not long after that, books became the best thing ever and there was no turning back.

She suffered a crisis of confidence in High School and College and decided writing was too difficult, so she earned a degree in Chemistry instead. Three career changes and four children later, she’s back to writing and much happier for it.

Magic has attracted many over the years, especially those who felt overlooked. Isabelle finds herself evolved in a fake witch craft scheme. Unfortunately, It's not only a scam, it's deadly. With the help of family and the society members, Isabelle takes on the fight. A surprise ending!

Another Attention Grabbing Book

What I like about this series is each book is captivating and the storyline unique. The characters are so relatable and the situations complex. Looking forward to the next book.

Still just as good as all the previous books. Somewhat on the darker side for the plot. This is a bit darker and sadder than any of the others. I sure hope things lighten up for the characters in the next of the series books.

I didn't like the way this ended. I'm glad I waited until the next book was available before I read it. I did like how they used investigative techniques to solve parts of the mystery.

I am just so tired of the plot device of new witches trying to solve s mystery (usually a murder) and putting themselves and others in danger in the process. And many times breaking the law while they're doing this, so I'm over this series!

Oh My!

Things get really interesting with this book, Isabella and the crew really have to work at the mystery at hand, and this time their task might be beyond their scope. The book ends with a bomb shell, so be ready to get book 9.
