I really wanted to love Finding Truth, but it wasn't my favorite. The Bluebird Bay series has been such a great read, but I've struggled with the amount of new characters that keep adding in. I want more of the characters I fell in love with in the first 8 books. Reading it as more of a standalone I think I'd like it better.
This book is full of those "Oh wow, Oh no, Oh my" moments and is truly gasp worthy.
I'm a faithful follower of all the characters and members in the Bluebird Bay series and this book has exceeded everything that the previous 9 books have prepared me for. Christine Gael has this incredible talent for being able to continue the story while introducing new members of the cast and the town of Bluebird Bay with those gasp worthy moments and never losing sight of the original cast as she encourages them to grow and develop as the world building of Bluebird Bay and the destinations within are enhanced, their lives are more developed with each addition to the series. The real as life situations found here encompass so many things that you can't point to just one and say, this book is about such and such, because she keeps the characters flowing and evolving, their lives and day to day dramas make the most unexpected appearances. There is something for everyone, from cozy warm romance in the first bloom to those much envied decades established couples that are in the winter of their lives, even the second chance loves have a place here. You never know what topic will be introduced but you can be assured it has been researched and written from the heart. I love that these books are family friendly, safe for all ages to read and a perfect addition to my personal library.
Two friends having partnered opening their own new law firm… and the hilarity of their first clients;
A woman seeking to rebuild bridges with her teenage son after having finally completed years of carefully plotted revenge, then meeting the best of men and feeling unworthy of him;
One of the Sullivan sisters asking a team of PIs to look into a hunch of hers regarding her ex-husband and a past case of the PIs’ that had recently shaken Bluebird Bay.
Another great, multi-layered story by Christine Gael in this amazing series.
Loved this book, and the introduction of a new character, Keith. This book had so many examples of what might happen when you tell the TRUTH or withhold that TRUTH! A definite page turner!! I couldn't wait to discover the characters secrets; ramifications and the courage to do the right thing. I'm so anxious to read the next book in the series "Finding Purpose". Will the real truth be told regarding an old murder investigation; will it destroy a family? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
4 stars for Finding Truth (Bluebird Bay Book 10). Another visit with old and new friends. Sarah has returned home and is finding her happy place. Fallen and David Shaw have become partners in work and life, still searching for treasure. Cee Fee is still searching for Mate's involvement in an old murder case.
The continuing saga of Bluebird Bay! I really love this sweet series, it's a little like going home. Christine Gael composes such a lovely base of characters; you can't help but come to know and love (mostly) with a few new ones added in for continuing story development. I'm already looking forward to the next one!
I love the Bluebird Bay series and look forward to reading about each member of the Sullivan family, but each book is becoming too formulaic. I would like it to be more suspenseful and not so goody-goody. Even when a bad thing occurs, it’s either fixed, or resolved so quickly that it seems too-good-to-be-true.
! am thoroughly enjoying the Bluebird Bay Book series. Very much liked the storyline of this book, and look forward to Book 11. Definitely need to find out about Nate, and it better be told in Book 11. My thanks go to Christine Gael.
Once again Christine Gael has written a great story . She has combined new characters with some old favorites. I look forward to the next book in this series along with her other books. She never disappoints.
This series just keeps getting better, it's got romance, mystery and suspense. Will CeeCee get her answers about her ex husbandbeing involved in murder? Hopefully we'll find out in the next book. I would highly recommend this series.
I like the addition of Deirdre and Keith to the story. We are meeting many extended family and friends of the original cast of characters while still keeping up with the Sullivan family. Keep up the great work.
I have so enjoyed reading this series and cannot wait to get to the next book each time. It has all the things I like in a book. Family, drama, romance , love and even a mystery.
Loved diving deeper into these characters. It’s so weird reading a name of my own. The cliff hanger at the end is so exciting I can’t wait for the next
