Psycho Knights

Rate this book
Once upon a time...
We watched Lucia secretly. Obsessively.
We hurt strangers for her. Protected her. And loved her while she remained completely oblivious.

There are definitions for people like us— stalkers, sickos, psychos. We’re really assassins-in-training but we do embody those other personalities too.

We thought that’s what love was until Lucia betrayed us and let her dick brother drive us to the brink of death.

We never forgot the inhumane degradation we suffered at the hands of Lucia’s brother.

We still continue to watch her and on her wedding day, we drag her away while bombs and gunfire rain down on us.
We’re not the same boys she knew in the past, and whatever we may have been to each other, it doesn’t matter anymore.
Because we’re only one thing to her now:

Her captors.
We feel no guilt or remorse.
Not when we own every inch of her- body, heart, and soul.

Sink your teeth into this sinfully delicious dark reverse harem mafia romance series today! This story contains dark themes such as stalking, kidnapping, abuse and violence, so please heed the note at the beginning of the introduction.

I really wanted to like this story but I just couldn’t get into it. I found myself annoyed by the back and forth like and dislike for the FMC or the three guys. The men would hate her one minute but then like her the next. They were swayed way too easily to dislike her at the drop of a hat instead of giving her the benefit of the doubt and finding out the truth. The men kidnapped her and basically raped her very close to the beginning of the book to get back at her and her brother thinking she was involved with what happened to them so many years ago. She’s a prisoner to them and even she’s up and down about her feelings for them but ends up believing she’s in love with them. I don’t feel like they’re redeemable with how they’ve treated her but that’s just me. I found it all just “yuck” and couldn’t stop rolling my eyes. After how it ended, I don’t think the next book will start off much better and won’t be reading any further.

Thoroughly Twisted 🖤
Wow if you like you’re men dark, dirty and dangerous then this is definitely the book for you! They possessive a$€holes who are not afraid to take what they believe is owed to them and they’re definitely an act first question later trio 😬
Please note the TW - yes there is NC in this between the FMC and her harem. It does form part of the storyline but it is there and with intention!
Lucia is a damaged FMC before the Volkov brothers even get her back, after years living under her brother she is a shell of a woman. 😩
She’s abducted by the Volkov brothers in an act of revenge for what they believed to have happened….but little do they know it’s not what it seems and Lucia has suffered just as much as them!
Vakim wears his wounds on his face and an armour along with it that’ll take a lot to break through, Leon has internalised his pain and acts out in violence, and Mikhail is hopeful that there’s a happiness out there they may deserve! They each connect with Lucia differently and begin to see a different side to the story and open up their hearts to her once again 😍
They truly are the anti-heroes….Although I’m afraid after that last scene they may truly become the villains and they may punish Lucia to far 😣
Looking forward to the next one in this delightfully dark series!!

Volkvov Brothers: Rape Lucia. Abuse Lucia. Relentlessly and irredeemably awful to Lucia.

Lucia: 😍

🙄🙄🙄

Idiot submissive FMC. Horrible MMCs. Poorly written smut. Miscommunication abound. (Emphasis on the miscommunication. The ending cliff hanger revolves around it.)

Different kinds of scars

Before diving into this story, please be sure to read the author's note about some of the triggers in this book. Some include on page non-con acts, stalking, kidnapping, and trauma in multiple forms.

This book was intense in some of the best ways. The characters, although living through different kinds of trauma, all bear scars that cannot be erased. Lucia is such a sweet fmc who would do anything for those she cares about. Even though her scars are more on the emotional and mental side of things, they are just as valid. But I swear, Yakim, Mikhail, and Leon are just plain oblivious because she doesn't appear to have anything physically wrong with her. What proof do they have besides her words on how she has actually been living her life the past seven years? Their scars are much more on the physical side, for Leon and Yakim at least, with Mikhail's being something that has affected him a lot mentally. I liked being able to see the different ways these characters were affected by their pasts (and present) and how they grew or adjusted to handle them in order to get through their day to day lives. New urges developed, new insecurities, new masks to hide behind to keep everyone happy.

I can't believe how many times I wanted to yell at the guys in this book for acting first and questioning things later. I know in their line of work and the world that they grew up in and still live in trust isn't something you come by easily. But I found it incredible for these men to take the relationship they had with Lucia for several years and just toss it all away because they thought she lied to them and was acting the entire time. Years! The girl was twelve when they first met her and her father and were never treated poorly. Then the cause of all their torment and trauma comes in and they believe everything he says?! It got frustrating at times and I felt so bad for Lucia because she is innocent in all of this. She only ever loved and wanted to be loved in return.

After the cliffhanger at the end of this book, I'm having anxiety about what will happen next with Lucia and the guys. I'm not sure what they will walk into, if the situation with her brother will be worse. Will the guys see what she's been trying to tell them all along or will they continue to put her through pain to put her in her place? It's really hard to tell at this point but I'm hoping something will happen (even if it is bad) to shed some light on Lucia's innocence so they get their relationship back on the correct path. Lucia's always been strong mentally, but I'm not sure where her limits lie and what will push her past her breaking point.

4.5 Stars! Lucia’s three best friends, Danny, Rafael, and John are stolen from her one night in a tragic way. She’s forced to follow her brother’s rules for her or suffer his wrath. Her life is dark and depressing but getting kidnapped on her wedding day is only going to make her life worse, right?

The Volkov brothers all have scars from a dark night that they can’t move past. Yakim’s scars are visible so he hides away from the world. Leon’s scars are mostly internal so he fights to gain some control. Mikhail tries to move past everything but like his brother struggles. These brothers are dark and dangerous. I hated them but by the end of the book, they were growing on me but with that cliffhanger who knows what these brothers are going to do.

This book is dark and has some triggers so make sure you read the warnings. I can’t wait for the next book and really want more of Yakim. If you enjoy dark reads and don’t have triggers, you definitely want to read this right away!!!

Psycho Knights is book one of the Volkov Assassin Clan series.

Let me start by saying this book has trigger warnings, so please check them before reading.

I enjoyed getting a glimpse of these sexy, hot violent men and the dark, twisted world they live in. (Yakim, Mikhail, and Leon are possessive AF)🔥

"She's kept me craving her all these years. No matter how many women I kiss, it's her taste I always seek."

The Volkov brothers are dangerous assassin alphas who fell for Lucia and would destroy anyone that got in their way of protecting her.

One night, something horrible happens, and her psychotic, sick brother tells her they are dead. He keeps her locked away from the world under strict supervision.

"Chasing you is more arousing than having you chained up."

The Volkov brothers are filled with hate and rage from that night and believe she betrayed them; now, they seek revenge and won't stop until she is punished.

I can't wait to see what happens in book two, Vicious Knights!

Oh man!! This one right here will hit ya straight in the gut. Lucia our broken FMC has suffered so much at the hands of her brother something that our brothers know nothing about. They feel betrayed by her and they want revenge but there is so much more to all of their stories than they know. They have all suffered tremendously they just hadn’t realized how much. Once the story starts to unravel and things are revealed you see each of our guys open up a bit and reconnect with Lucia they each have a connection with her and while they have all been hurt dearly you can see them start to bond with her once again. Their chemistry is off the charts. There are so many twists and turns that lay around every dark and dangerous corner and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Psycho Knights is book one in the Volkov Assassin Clan series by Ivy Clyde and hoooooly smokes this book is some twisted mafia meets beauty and the beast vibes. Our FMC Lucia is kind hearted, naive, but overall a dependable and sweet character and the Volkov brothers feel she has betrayed them. They take their time to plot their revenge in which time she suffers her own damage… but when the time comes and they take her to their home will they see that damage or just seek their own cruel revenge? This is certainly a dark, twisted story, with heapings of steam and true anti heroes that make you keep turning pages and I certainly can’t wait to see what comes next.

Psycho Knights is deliciously dark and steamy.

Lucia and the Volkov brothers were best friends until tragedy strikes. Now, Lucia has been forced to live under her cruel brother’s rule and the Volkov brothers bear the scars.

Thinking Lucia betrayed them—Yakim, Leon, and Mikhail kidnap her. Seeking revenge, they won’t stop until she’s throughly punished.

The suffering Lucia and the guys go through is awful. Can they find their way back to each other or will the Volkov brothers be too blinded by their need for revenge?

This book is dark and gritty. If you like your alphas psycho and a whole lot of possessive, then Psycho Knights is your jam.

you blew this book out of the water!!! oh man oh man oh man oh man. Words escape me of how to describe how amazing this book is and also how badly I need the next one! Lucia. Poor naïve Lucia. She goes through so much losing the boys, her brother being a total disgusting creep, finding the boys again (albeit after some incredibly heartbreaking things that happen to her.) and then pulling a stupid stunt at the end! I can’t even!! Mafia, assassins, psychos it has it all! Definitely listen to the trigger warnings at the beginning because this book is DARK but I devoured it!! So good! Need next book now please!

Wow! This book completed blew away all expectations, it was absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t put this book down until the very last word.
It’s written with such detail and emotion, those steamy scenes are completely off the charts.
The storyline kept me intrigued with the twists and suspense. The cruelty in this book is next level, the blood, death and torture had me on the edge of my chair.
Loved the characters, along with their background stories.
Overall a fantastic read full of hate, love, passion and revenge- can’t wait to see what happens next.

Read the trigger warnings first.

Possessive alphaholes ... do I really need to say more?!
Lucia has suffered for so long at the hand of her brother, but he's clever to keep all that hidden. When she's taken by his enemies as revenge, they've no idea what she's been through. The story pulls you in as you see the relationships develop and how they can heal eachothers wounds.
I was hooked from the start and even more so after that ending!!
Did the guys push Lucia too far? Or is there a way for them to come back from this and have a happy ending?

What a ride! Lucia is strong and went thru a lot. Her brother is so obsessed with her that their is no way out. She is kidnapped and reacquainted with her old loves. Everything is going good until things change. Will Lucia be labeled traitor or will she get her happy ever after? I need the second book please

There’s tons of steamy darkness in this book! Lucia, our FMC, has been beaten down by life and these men who are blast from her past want to take their revenge on her. She’s suffered through so much at times it can be hard to read her enduring more but these men are not her hero’s. Read the trigger warning and dive in for a book that will keep your blood pumping!

Men oh MEN!

I really liked the three brothers in the book. I loved their different personalities and the character development for them. Lucia was a bit too timid and ‘poor me’, but that is my own personal taste, not a reflection of the book. I feel like the author put a lot of love into this story, the passion shows!

Lucia is a sheltered girl who thought she lost 3 young men she befriended after her family “rescued” them off the streets. Circumstances remove those young men from her life… or are they really gone? Lots of twists in this journey so far and I can’t wait to see where this author takes us. There are triggers in this book so please take into consideration the warnings.

Holy cow

What a crazy ride. I definitely wasn't expecting that. I did figure out that was going to happen at the end though. And ugh.. the set up for book 2. If they only knew the truth.. yet again.
I will say that the authors blurred lines of consent are a little off. It's definitely dub-con in full force. She maybe consented 3 times out of the 10+ times it happened.

This is dark and steam. Lucia, FMc, has been through a lot in her life and some of it is coming back to her present. Rafael, Danny and John are possessive and antiheros. Please take note of the trigger warnings before starting this book. This is a great start to the series.

I'm sorry but how stupid do you have to be, you expect a 15 year old girl to save three guys from her 12 year older brother. And just instantly hate her, i mean c'mon and ew i hated the rape scene. They raped her, and when the find out that her brother have been abusing her they are still mad at her. They are so stupid and doesn't deserve her. DNF,
