Be careful what you wish for.

At the start Telarion and I had one goal—to find a way to be separated.

Then feelings changed and so did our goal. To find a way to be separated so we could know if what we felt was real.

But just when we allow ourselves a taste of what we truly desire, our world is turned upside and our connection is put to the test.

The order of Yaga have a plan. One that will drag us through the flames and tear us apart, because they believe a bigger threat is coming to our world.

They believe I’m the key to stopping it.

Their belief is about to tear out my heart, and now I have only one goal.

To get it back.

August's adventure continues in this third instalment of the Eldritch blues series. A Paranormal Urban Fantasy with an MF Romance.

This book felt like non-stop action throughout! Poor August, the books starts with her torture and ends with her in a bit of a pickle. She has so much she has no battle through in this book.

There's not so much August and Telarion in this book, as it was necessary for the development of the the plot, but I thiught this separation was a good move, as it felt too soon in the story arc for them to be all happily in love. It's hard to go into specifics without giving spoilers, but apart from one infuriatingly stupid decision, this is a hell of a ride.

I think this series is one of my favourite if Debbie's for a long time. It has a darker vibe than a lot of her other work.

For some reason I was convinced this was gonna be the last book in the series. Newsflash: It is not the last book in the series. I was therefore quite looking forward to it and I was also quite curious how everything would come together and even more how this book was gonna get itself towards a happy ending. Well, at least it are good books and at least I don't mind cliffhanger. I'll just wait for the next one then.

I think from the three books in the series so far this is my favorite. This book is structured. Our heroine has a goal in mind, something she wants to achieve and all her attention, time and effort is going towards it. Is it always smart what she does? Absolutely not. Is it very understandable what she does? Absolutely yes. And since this book has such a clear goal, it never feels chaotic even though there's a lot going on and a lot of action.

I also like how the mythology and history of everything that's going on is shaping up with each book. This book once more gives us more information and answers and it's also becoming clear that everything might be bigger and much longer in the making that we thought so far. You know the saying that things must first get worse before they can get better? That's exactly what's happening in this book. Things are getting worse. I hope so they can become better in the next book.

And in this book I also fell more and more in love with the monster. I already liked him a lot. I already understood why our leading lady was so in love with him, but in this book I also fell for him. None of the characters involved in this series are having an easy time in this book, but our monster is for sure not having a good time. And looking at the cliffhanger I really wonder if it will get much better in the next book. I can't wait to get my hands on it!

I'm a big fan of this series by Debbie. It has wonderful character and world building, as well as a plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I'm very impatiently waiting the next installment, just like I usually am with the rest of Debbies books! Telerion is obviously my favorite character, and I can't wait to uncover all the mysteries this series holds in the next book! I do love August as an fmc, and her friends are funny and sweet. I do dislike all of the secrets within their family unit and can't wait to find out what else is coming!

No estuvo mal, pero ya está alargando muchos las cosas. Aún no explican nada y me estoy cansando de las mismas dudas tres libros atrás.

This book!!! I absolutely loved the steam and action, the way the author built the anticipation of things coming and the quirk! But all that pales in comparison to that get it girl moment at the end of the book! I literally cannot wait to get my hands on the next installment! If you like literally any supernatural type or tv show, you’re going to love this series. It has everything you’ve been looking for with unique twists I’ve never seen elsewhere. Of all the series by this author this one I think is my new favorite, I would love to see it on screen!

Third book and it’s oh so good! As soon as I opened the first page I knew that I wouldn’t be getting anything else done that day! Sucked back into this incredible world we rejoin August and Telarion as they carry on with their incredible journey. There’s so much going on in this fast paced and action packed read but we do get a few answers to some of our questions and we get a bit more on Quentin. August is such a fantastic character, she’s strong, she’s smart and no matter what happens she picks herself back up, dusts herself off and dives straight back in. Exciting, thrilling, emotional, this read is everything I hoped it would be and now to wait for the next book is on!

I love when a book exceeds all my expectations and has me hanging on to the edge of my seat! August is such an amazing character that was really put through the ringer. I love that she gets back up when evil tries to knock her down and out. I also love that she is strong but not hard. She is still compassionate.
I can't wait to get my hands on book 4. I need more August and Telarion in my life.

Another great book in this series!

This one had me on the edge of my seat constantly. She was so determined and no matter the cost she did what she felt necessary to read her goal.

I really do love her and Telarion. Watching their relationship develop over the last few books and seeing how much they changed and completed eachother is done so well. I tend to forget they're from completely different places.

This book was full of twists and turns And so much angst. I can't wait for the next book!

Such a crazy ride this book is. Soo much going on and August and Telerion seem to be in the middle of it all. New secrets revealed and some seriously steamy scenes. Love the multiple povs and the ending was brutal.

Love this series so far. It’s a bit darker than her other stuff but I’m here for that! August and Telarion are separated for most of the book and while I’m normally not a huge fan of that, I feel like the author does a great job in this case. I cannot wait to read the rest of the book!!!

I waited what feels like a long time for this and time itself is a risky game because it gives me expectations. Having loved the first book so much, I was ready for the romance to hit it off, but this book takes Telarion away! *dramatic sigh*

I do appreciate the angst and the desperation August feels because the words captivate me to join her in the dumps. However, I think I may have too much pride to accept certain events in the book. For example, her sister just WATCHES her touch herself and all is okay after? I feel like that definitely would’ve caused some awkwardness or even anger upon witnessing a private moment after August asked her to leave. I think there should be someee boundaries.

Another thing I would’ve been interested to see are Nandi’s thoughts on knowing her sister has had some sort of *relations* with Lothos since she feels something for him. Again, are we just going to brush that under the rug? Perhaps these people are just better at accepting things, but to me it feels noteworthy.

Overall, I feel like August has hit such rock bottom, that I’m almost to the point of cringing when her dignity gets slowly taken away. For example, when Telarion is all beast and has his way with her (which I have some mixed feelings on), she’s caught by a whole team of people who must PULL him out of her. That’s right, PULL him out. I don’t know man, I’m not sure I could wake up the next day if that happened. I miss the August who had a bit of pride, or is that toxic of me?

Her newfound persona makes it hard to believe when she becomes alpha at the end or when she leads the other rift walkers. I’m sure someone else is in a better state of mind to do it.

Welp…I’m looking forward to the next one. I hope her character is built back up again since I am invested her well-being.

Righteous Monsters
New Blood: Eldritch Blues Book 3

This book starts right in the middle of the action, with August and Telerion! This is a follow on book, so make sure to read the first two books!

This a heartbreaking story with paranormal against paranormal. You don't know who is the good guy and who is the bad guy - because of all the twists and turns that make your head spin, but doesn't leave you unsatisfied, just eager for more!

Secrets are revealed,  August's friends loyalty is above and beyond. August has to adapt to the new roles she is given, including leading the Rift Walkers.

Because she's stronger and heals more quickly, her hunger to feed is growing and this leads to physical pain, because of what The Order did to her.

The story building in this series shows what an excellent writer Debbie Cassidy is. If you have read the first two books, you will definitely be more than satisfied with book 3!

Don't hesitate to get your copy today!

August an Telerion have admitted their love for each other but still feel teh need to go through with trying to separate themselves so that they can be togther fully however the Order have other plans.
August needs to survive and hope that Telerion does as well as he has been chemically restarined, If they cant escape the order then he may not survive.

Other relationships start to bloom in this storey and i wont spoil teh surpise but i love this twist!
Augusts Hunger keeps getting stronger so her need to feed escalates along with her strength and enhanced healing, so questions ned to be raised again about who her father realy was, i have suspisions but only time will tell!

Twists and turns galore make this series one of the most intense roller coasters around at the moment as August fights to protect thse that she loves the most.

This world is amaing and i cant wait to see what else eventually comes out of it as i am sure that there will be spin off's and other characters that appear as the Gargoyles and all that side of the world really intruige me.

August's story continues in the third book in this series, following the events in the previous book. Now captured and held by the Order, August is undergoing genetical changes to "unlock her full potential" - but considering this comes from Genevieve, she does not trust a single word and only wants to escape. When she manages that with some help, she decides to go for the only thing Telarion wanted in the beginning - to get separated. But every decision has consequences, and August might not be prepared for what this decision means..
As always, this book was a rollercoaster with one action switching to another, crazy emotions driving me high all the time, and the steam.. oh, those scenes. I really love them. And color me weird, but the scene with Nandi being the proxy and August having all those sensations was freaking hot. I was enjoying a lot all the revelations and unraveled secrets in this book, relished in all the relationship drama, and could not even go mad after that cliffhanger because it just promises more. And I cannot wait until the more is delivered.

A really good book and series. I can't wait to start the next book

I am really enjoying this series. The character and plot development is good and I really am interested in what happens to the characters so much so that I can't wait to read the next book I did not give the book 5 stars because it did not meet my 5 star requirement. which is that it make me both laugh and cry. this did 1 of the 2 it made me cry a little As the main characters Struggled over losing each other.

Normally when I like a book this much I would immediately start looking to other books by the author however the other books by this author have themes that I am uncomfortable with so i probably will not be reading anything else by this author. This is a shame because I thoroughly enjoyed the books so far in this series. I would like to read the other books by the author, but just can't bring myself to read some of the themes in them. Perhaps I will change my mind if I start reading books that do not live up to This caliber of book LOL

Wow! So many twists and turns, this series keeps getting better. August and Telarion have so much going on. Just when August and Telarion finally let go of reservations and open up some serious circumstances tear them apart, as well as threaten their lives. So much heartache and angst! More secrets are revealed about August’s family, her heritage, and her new ravenous hunger becomes more threatening – thanks to the Order. Her friends, especially Nandi, have to make huge decisions that will have consequences. August has to juggle many hats and step into a leadership role, pulling other rift walkers into the fight. The Order also steps up its determination to trap August and Telarion and new information comes regarding their ultimate plan. New allies and enemies come forth and their family unit expands and tightens ranks. Action, suspense, mystery, emotional turmoil, family, friendship, witty banter, love, and more. It’s a page-turner!

Telarion.... of all of Cassidy's many, many heroes, he just might be my favorite. It's a hard test, truth be told, as she has crafted numerous male characters that sweep me away. There is just something about the darkness that Telarion bleeds that completes this story, and really makes me cheer for this duo - even as they face the challenges tossed to them by The Order of Yaga.

For this installment, secrets are coming to light and feelings are finally being expressed. August and Telarion, who started this journey desperate to find a way to separate their beings, are starting to embrace the needs they really have. Yes, they still want to separate, but for reasons that make the heart pound and the reader smile. But, but, but.... this is also Cassidy, and twists are the name of the game - including twists in matters of the heart. I can't wait to see what happens in book 4.

Oh, and Genevieve... ugh.

Book three of the New Blood: Eldritch Blues series starts right off where book two left off and once the action starts, it never stops and that's not a bad thing. When one thing is over, another is happening and August is determined as ever to save everyone. There are a lot of twists and turns along the way and definitely, some 'wait what' moments.

I absolutely adore Telarion in this, there are lots of facets to him and he almost throws off what everyone knows about the Eldritch and he isn't the only one. His relationship with August started off tense, but as they finally start to tell each other how they feel it gets a little complicated but at the end of the day they really care for each other and want to do what they can to protect each other.

I really can't wait to see where book four goes in this series, because for some reason I thought book three was the last and when it wasn't I got super excited over the fact we get another story!

Telarion and August’s Story Excitingly Continues

Righteous Monsters is the third book in Debbie Cassidy’s amazing Eldritch Blues: (New Blood World) series, and it, just like Aberrant Monsters and Insidious Monsters, keep a commanding hold on its readers.

You must read the first two stories to make sure you understand every delicious morsel of this heart wrenching paranormal tale, that pits good against evil, except these sides are not as clear cut as all of these fabulous characters believe.

Debbie Cassidy finds a way to travel across distances, showcase creatures you might never want to meet, show the loyalty of true friends, and portray love as a tenuous hold on sanity, all while keeping the momentum of her storytelling at an exciting and even cringeworthy pace.

Cheers to DC and her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ book❣️

Why you doing this to me?

Gah! This book has been heart wrenching! August seriously goes through some feelings this go around that I can totally understand. But she still got back up. She's still fighting. Every time I think she is going to snuff out the tiny flame of hope, she rekindles it. She's not giving up without a fight. She will not let Telarion go. And Telarion? He fights so hard. Others can't see it. He cannot even truly see it, but his love for August is real. To say that the ending was shocking, would be an understatement. I certainly was not expecting it. I really don't know how they are going to pull through that one. Will this end with a HEA? Or will it end in utter heartbreak? I have so many questions and waiting to find the answers is pure torture, but I am here for this until the end.

Desperate Heartache

Righteous Monsters is number three in this series, and it is chockfull of action, love, and heartbreak. August and Telarion's relationship is the most tattered and separated it has ever been, yet their love poured off the pages. There is finally no doubt how they feel about each other, and the despair of August as she tries to save Telarion was visceral and so well written. By the end, my head was spinning to keep up with the action and plot, while I swallowed around a sizeable lump in my throat from threatening tears. It feels like we have the last of the land finally. The secondary cast of interconnected relationships is making sense, and the wall of struggle August and Telarion must climb seems insurmountable. Debbie's monster series is well set up for the major final clash, and heartrending romance I have no doubt is coming.

Our girl August is tested and we find out how much she is willing to sacrifice.

August is tested from chapter 1 in this third installment of the Eldritch Blues series. I love every second of this book and felt so attached to August’s hard struggle in this book. I love that we got more about Quentin as that was killing me not knowing. We also get more to the story about August’s mother. I’m still Team Telarion but it was a little touch and go in the middle of this book. Though this one took me longer to read as I felt so bad for August I just didn’t want it to keep getting worse the cliffhanger at the end has me on the edge of my seat. Another brilliant addition to the Eldritch Blues series.

Took a couple of sharp turns

August, a rift walker, has been kidnaped and Telarion, the aberrant monster that has become a part of her, has been subdued by the very people that are supposed to helping them. As the story progresses drastic measures are survived, a solution may have arrived, and finding the correct path is the only way everyone could come out alive. Debbie Cassidy took a couple of sharp turns in Righteous Monsters then proceeded to leave the reader hanging at the end. I had hoped that the roller coaster of emotions would not have had so many steep drop offs. But the reader should expect to have their stomach in knots throughout the book.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Wow, this book was action packed from beginning to end. Just when one crisis ended, another started.
August and Telarion have declared their feeling for one another but life isnt that simple and everything seems to be against them being together.
We find out what Genevieve has been up to, trying to create her own solution to the eldritch problems, by any means necessary.
I have to give August 10 out of 10 for her dedication to her friends, she will not leave anyone behind, she has so much loyalty and determination.
So many twists and revelations to get your head round, but things are starting to slot into some kind of place.
The ending though, I was not expecting - can't wait to see how August and Telarion get on in the next book.

Now to be honest the beginning of this series had me more annoyed than happy...August can be so naïve and it got frustrating but the series just get better and better. However we need to be honest that's not a book for everyone there are torture, sex consented and not, steamy scenes etc so better for adult only

AUgust is trying to save Telarion and the missing handlers but some allies turn their back on her, villains are simply still too alive for my taste ( Telarion should have eaten her).....i love the little pink purple Eldritch and i do hope we will see more of him ( and happy end for him)
Big cliffhanger but this time we got gargoyle, fae, shifters and more so it really interesting and i do want to see the conclusion.

New Blood: Eldritch Blues series continues with book three. This action packed, emotional rollercoaster ride has twists and turns you don’t see coming. August and Telarion have declared their feelings but life sure isn’t going easy. It just is one obstacle after another.
Loved these characters and the growth they have accomplished. August is so determined and the loyalty to her friends. New characters have been introduced and definitely want to read more about them. The cliffhanger that ends this phenomenal book is unexpected and leaves me with questions I need answered. Recommend this book and encourage anyone to read this series.

I devour anything that Debbie writes and this series has absolutely sunk its claws into me. I love these characters, I love the world building, the drama, tension and growth. I really like the direction this story has taken and I love how engrossed I was reading this. As with her writing, she creates such amazing, solid characters that are so detailed and well thought out, the depth they add to the story is so good. Well written and well paced, this story flows nicely and never leaves you bored! I am eager for the next instalment!

Apparently I love to torture myself. I know how this author writes. I know how she likes to bring us up so high in the feels and then drop us from the clouds. Luckily there is a safety net in the next book (usually) so we aren't completely broken but ooof. To say that you aren't going to laugh, cry, sob, and just hop around reading this book would be a lie. You get all the feels. Good and bad ones. But you come back for more because that is Debbie Cassidys super power. If you loved the first two books in this series you will be blown away by this one. It is absolutely amazing!!!

Man has August had it rough with this book. She goes through so much and with all her secrets piling up too. She has so many secrets where one other person knows but no one else. I feel bad for Quentin since he had no idea what was going on. Right now the plot feels like we’re missing a big piece of the puzzle that will connect everything together. I quite like Telarion but once they separate, things are not going to go well at all. The characters in this book have good chemistry with each other, whether that be romantic or platonic relationships.
