The books in this series may be short but they sure pack a punch! We are right back where we left off in book one.

The mystery behind Krypt is just too engrossing, I can’t help but want to dive under the mortician table and get all his dirty wee secrets and truths!

Mary is so much than the innocent woman she seems to be, I can see it! I cannot wait to uncover more of it.

The brothers!! This series is heating up one book at a time and I cannot wait for more.

Wow! That was a short fiery read. A shot of adrenaline, turbo powered pages!

We see Krypt and Mary dancing with each other, side stepping ideas, sweeping dips of passion and spinning with dizzying desire. We learn more about Krypts unusual tastes and meet several family members, all of which seem to be quite ruthless which will make for a explosive family get together!

The end leaves us wondering about choices and how exactly everything will play out 🤔🤯🔥

Krypt as it turns out is a private mortician working solely for his Mobster family. In his life with a hardcore harsh uncaring family he has found a way to make him feel, not necessarily better but feel. However it isn’t something most people would accept or even understand. Then comes Mary, her brother was Krypt’s best friend, but he owed the family money and someone had to pay. You already guessed who had to pay so poor Mary was abducted. Krypt met her once when she was 15, he was captivated by her then but was too strange to step out of himself. Now he’s older, things have changed. This book is a case study for an analyst. Will Krypt’s mob family of very distasteful brothers and a cringeworthy father steal Mary??? Krypt has plans and I’m onto Book 3 to see who wins. If you read very much of Lucian Banes work you just know there will be twists and turns here and it well take awhile to work all out but I like both Krypt and Mary and I’m rooting for them.

Interesting

I see so many possibilities for this series it keeps my mind busy. It is a quick read but sometimes that's a good thing. I loved it as usual. Call me intrigued on this one.

On the edge tension

I'm a fan of this series. Griping. Intense. Curious. Entrancing. Three chapters for book 2 isn't enough as we uncover Krypt's obsession and Mary's abduction. Excitement when a deal is made.

The second book in this series gets straight to the point and draws you in quickly. Krypt's brother killed Mary's brother and Krypt has saved her but his brother is mad about it and tries to get dad to side with him. Problems arise and Krypt swears to keep Mary safe. Ready for book 3.

Not wanting human flesh was always a thing for this character. But seeing this young woman everything changed for him. Being normal in the eyes of family is what mattered now.

What a Read!!!

I floved this! So much intensity, heat, passion and so much more in a small package…Mr. Bane has me hooked and leaving me needing the next…I want to praise and hate him all at the same time for continually leaving me needing more
