Love the way this author tells a story

I read this entire book in one setting and I really enjoyed it! I have always loved the way this author tells a story and that did not change with this emotionally charged story! I felt a myriad of emotions and even chuckled a few times when Troy explained certain things! Troy is unapologetic and he gives it to you raw!
Throughout the story it seems as if Troy was often down on his luck but that didn’t stop him from always putting forth his best effort to move forward! I admire that about him! Troy certainly has a right to be angry and feel betrayed after the way things went down between him and Jasmine. I initially thought she was a decent person and cared about Troy’s well-being! She was a special kind of lowdown! It always bothers me when guys deal with the type issues Troy dealt with from his wife who couldn’t keep it real with him!
This story truly depicted Troy’s pain in peeled back layers. I hope it brings him the peace he needs to move forward and to heal!
I definitely recommend this story! Five stars from me. Waiting patiently for the next read!!! 👏🏾😊

It’s so sad that ppl don’t know not to play with the emotions of others, this could have ended another way . I’m so glad you’re in a better space and I pray that you keep pushing. Much love

I commend Author T.B Scott on his courage to tell his story from a man’s pov. Sometimes we only get one side accept it and move on but rarely are the things some men go through behind closed doors as well, are discussed! Great story

Lying hoe

I liked this book I have family members who have done the exact same thing and for what. I Wish they could read this book and understand the pain they gave to their people.
In the end the kids suffer.
