SPOILER ALERTS!!!!

This book is about four friends who are brought together by an extraordinary man, Mr. Benedict, and begin an adventure together. I really liked this book because, one, my brother gave it to me, and two, the characters love truth. In a world where people can be confused about cheating and what is right, these characters, especially Reynie, fight to do what is right. It is a struggle for him sometimes, but he fights against his own desires. This book demonstrates that sometimes the right thing is hard, but it is always worth it.
I really liked the part of the book where the kids went through Mr. Benedict's tests. During those tests, they are tried to see whether or not they will cheat, and they all choose not to. I loved watching that. As the book progresses, they do have to make more and more decisions that aren't right, such as cheating, but I think it's okay as they know it is wrong and they do it to complete their mission and protect others.
One quote that stuck out to me from this book was when Mr. Benedict said when speaking to Reynie, "You must remember, family is often born of blood, but it doesn't DEPEND on blood. Nor is it exclusive of friendship. Family members can be your best friends, you know. And best friends, whether or not they are related to you, can be your family."

It has a lot of puzzles, and it's very interesting and captivating to see how these people in the story solve the puzzles and how they use the clues to achieve something they want to do.
