It makes a great read, even when you re familiar with the Bioneers YouTube channel!
This e book is a great 'document' which complements the Bioneer's training programme. It is,however, more necessary than complementary, since it explains the Bioneer s choice of different training methods and how they combine to produce a very complex result. There are details about physiology and neurology, which create a base if information for us to build on.The book gets into brain training and cognitive benefits from (usual) exercises, and i found this very interesting. It is well documented, with links for further reading all over the place.
All in all,the book delivers a huge amount of information (&motivation),plus his unique, contagious training philosophy.
I really liked the first book, but it felt sometimes like a long list of techniques to train, without many link and with little context. There was also a lot of theory, which can be good or bad depending on what you like, but it led to it missing practical stuff until the last chapters. Excepted these points, I liked it a lot.
But this one is way better. Shorter, straight to the point, with a lot more context, more engaging, a more comprehensible reading. The routine is simpler, more attractive too. I love Adam's philosophy, and this book is a great addition to his YouTube channel The Bioneer. There are less scientific details, nutrition is almost not covered, so I think the two books are very complementary. But if I had to pick only one, this is the best of both by far.
Eye opening guide. I absolutely love Bioneer's channel, and this book is the culmination of those lessons. I haven't started his actual training routine yet, and given my schedules and busy martial arts training schedule, I'm not likely to follow his plan. But I will DEFINITELY incorporate many of the skills and traits mentioned in the book and add it to my existing plan, which I suppose is a true measure of function for my lifestyle.
