I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Nora wasn’t meant to be coaching four year olds, but when her twin brother rings and asks for a favour she has never been able to say no, so whist he runs off to stop his ex from marrying someone else she is left floundering trying to teach a group of four year old children soccer. But when she meets Busy she is smitten with the little girl instantly and when she invites her to have dinner with her and her father she isn’t expecting the attraction nor the instant chemistry between her and Judah. But is she ready for a ready made family?
Judah loves his daughter and has had to be both parents since his wife’s death when she was very young, women haven’t been on the radar for him that is until he meets the temporary coach of his daughter’s soccer team. She takes his breath away and when she flirts with him he knows that there is more to this than meets the eye, when his daughter Busy invites her for pizza and she agrees, is he ready to move on and love someone else or will she break his and his daughters heart?
This was a sweet little read that although isn’t going to stretch the mind was very enjoyable and had an ending that leaves you with a cheesy grin. 4* read.
I thought this was a cute novella. It was super fast paced and fluffy but perfect for a lunchtime read. I really liked Nora and Judah, and Busy is adorable. . I received a free advanced reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest review.
Too fast even for an instalove. Hooked up right after the first day of the meeting. Took the daughter to sleep and BAM! Nuff said. Too fast for a said widower who lost the love of his life and was celibate until he met the substitute coach.
No virgin Dual PoV, 1st person No angst, bit drama with h's misunderstanding No OW/OM Okay-ish smut Safe read, HEA, bit epilogue Overall score: 2.5 instalove stars
The Coach's Twin, Book 2 of The Off-Limits Ladies series, was about Judah Parks, a video game programmer, and the father to four-year-old Busy Parks, and Nora, a sixth-grade science teacher, and the twin sister to Busy's soccer coach. Much like the first book in the series, this was a micro-story with only 8 chapters. Once again, the two main characters met, talked briefly, had dinner together, and fell immediately into bed. The two main differences between this book and the first were the fact that the two MCs were both in their late 20s and more mature than the previous book's characters, and the second was that the MMC had a child. However, the FMC in this story was a bit on the weak side. Oh sure, she had no problem falling into bed with a complete stranger after having just met him. However, the next day, she turned lily-livered and ghosted him after her brother informed her that the mother of the man's daughter had been "the love of his life" but had died with the child was a baby. Although Judah had never married the woman, he had cared greatly for her. Nora was concerned with being the first woman to be in a relationship with him after losing "the love of his life", and therefore she didn't speak to him again until she saw him the following week at his daughter's soccer practice. Suffice it to say, like the book before it, they settled their differences immediately. Unlike the previous book, things weren't resolved in six months. It actually took them a year before he even proposed. But that year was a blank slate for the reader because the story went from the soccer field straight to a year later. So, once again, the book had very little content, no real angst, and only a small amount of drama, one spicy scene which was over almost before it began, and then a proposal a year later. I mean, seriously, that was the gist of the entire story. I have to say, these two books were a great disappointment. As I was gearing up to force myself to read the next book, I learned there was a fourth that was written about this FMC's brother and "the love of his life". I'm not sure I can handle two more stories if they are written in the same vein as the two I have already read. A one-star rating is all I can convince myself to award to this short, short story. It just doesn't merit anything higher.
Judah Parks walks with his 4-year-old daughter, Busy, to her soccer practice. It surprised him when she absolutely loved the sport. As a kid, he had never been into sports, preferring video games – which he now designs for a living. Grabbing the cooler of orange slices and water bottles, they head to the field. But Coach Trent is nowhere around, which is strange since he is usually early. He notices instead a tall woman wearing a ball cap and t-shirt identifying her as the coach. Coach Nora introduced herself to Judah as he feels electricity as soon as their hands touch.
Busy is truly a star player, performing way beyond the other little girls. After practice, she asks Judah is Coach Nora can come for dinner. They are making homemade pizzas, and Nora happily accepts. She felt right at home when he got there, Busy grabbing her hand and taking her to see her bedroom and her dolls. They had fun making their pizzas and watching TV until Busy falls asleep.
He tucks Busy into bed and returns to Nora. Not sure if he should make a move or not. He doesn’t want to make things awkward, and Busy is already so attached to Nora, what if things don’t work out? But he took a chance and kissed Nora. Apparently she had the same thoughts he had. Could this relationship work out after all? But instead, she panics and ghosts him. Will she ever tell him why?
3.5 stars First things first; I like the cover of this book! The coach’s twin is the second book in the ‘’off limits ladies’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Whilst stepping in at her twin brother’s kids team, Nora meets Judah. Judah is a single father. When he meets Nora, he wants her but will love spark between them? The chemistry between Judah and Nora is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought Busy was adorable. I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.
The romance is short, sweet, with some steam, and a side of forbidden love. As the temporary coach for a soccer team of four year olds, Nora should not be entertaining thoughts of single dad Jonah. He’s experienced love and loss so Nora is afraid to hurt him more. They have a night of passion but Jonah hopes for more. Will Nora give love a chance? Good characters, hot steam, and a sweet ending. If you're looking for single dad or insta love stories, then this short story is for you, it combines both. The romance between the main characters was over the top, and the realtion between the h and the H's daughter was heart melting. I loved this story and enjoyed reading it. This was a short novella but I felt like we got to truly get the char there in the book. We understood their decisions and why they made them. And that’s hard to do in a novella. This was equal parts steamy and sweet . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book is a short quick read. It is an insta romance about Nora and Judah. Nora is the replacement soccer coach and Judah is a single dad. This book is an addictive read that is hot and steamy. Oh, Judah... what a character! You can't help but be swooned by him from the very start. This is a sexy and steamy romance with insta love and strong characters. If you like short stories, perfect for when you have an hour to spare, this might be right up your alley.

I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. A very sweet story with not so sweet language used in the romance part of the book. Did not enjoy that. I prefer the sweet rather than erotic. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I did not like the way the book was written. It was also really short, and it felt way too fast to be true. I understand that this is a novella but I have read novellas that are maybe a little bit longer, and gave more for the characters. The entire time I was reading this book, it felt like I was reading a book that goes “he said, she said. The end.” There was nothing there. For a quick read in between books, I would definitely read this but it was forgotten the second that I put my review on goodreads. Nothing about the book stuck with me.

This book was so good and I absolutely love the chemistry between the characters. Nora was asked to fill in for her brother to coach 4yr old soccer but what she didn't expect is to possibly meet her soulmate or will her nerves win out and she stay away from him?.
