Disease and uncertainty had become common since the arrival of the invaders. But Storm Dancer was not prepared to find his Izzy suffering from the same malady that plagued his village years earlier. It was the sickness that brought the two together all that time ago. Despite being enemies and virtual strangers, Isabelle found the strength to nurse the Warrior back from the brink of death, stealing his heart along the way. His love was the medicine she needed; her love made him a better man. For ten long, loving years, they lived in perpetual bliss. Still, her sudden illness caused him to question everything.
Will he be willing to do the right thing by her? Will love allow him to put her comfort above his desire to be by her side?

I was given this paperback as a gift and I purchased the ebook. I just finished reading it and I was blown away. This book brought me to tears more than once. And the last 3 or 4 pages, I was holding my breath and crying. It has a wonderful plot and it is so well written. The characters will stay with you long after you finish the book.

Elizabeth (Izzy) is her nickname and Storm Dancer met years ago. She finds out her husband had other women, and one of the girls he was with died along with him due to this human illness. Storm Dancer goes to her house and finds out the man that had died in his camp is married. He tells her the truth and she sees Storm Dancer is also very sick from this illness. She nurses him back to health and they fall in love.

Now they have 2 sons together and a happy life, and Izzy becomes sick with the same illness. The book takes you back in time and shows how the met and what a wonderful life they had together now! I love how the books goes back and forth in time, it explains so much more. And it just breaks your heart, seeing the fear Storm Dancer has and he knows he can't go on without Izzy and she is so very sick no one thinks she can pull through.

This book is absolutely my favorite book in this series. It is a love story most women would die to have. It is just a fantastic book from beginning to end!! This author definitely wrote with her heart, and you can see it, in the way she wrote this story. If I believed in true love.... the love Izzy and Storm Dancer share would be true love!!!!!

Storm Dancer (Native Warrior Series)

Wow, this book was outstanding and I loved each and every page. I would have preferred it to have run consistently with time but it was great anyway.
