About the author

Michael Grey was born and grew up in West Yorkshire, England and now lives in Melbourne, Australia with his wife and three boys. His work, featuring explosions, giant tanks and strange creatures, can be found in print and online and has been featured in the Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, and Aurealis magazine among others. He has also had other work, not featuring explosions, giant tanks and strange creatures, in ‘The Life and Times of Chester Lewis’ anthology from the Australian Literature Review.

His story 'Alek and Elizabeth and the End of the World' was featured on the Journey Into... podcast and was shortlisted for a 2013 Parsec Award.

He does not have the writer-obligatory cat, but there is a red switch in his cupboard which he is almost certain turns the lights on his street off and on. The weight of this responsibility makes him old before his time. He can be reached at www.michaelgrey.com.au

Very fun background book for Mantic's Warpath universe! I'd love to see more stuff in this setting.
