She’d never thought she would meet the hottest guy she’d ever seen while in the middle of committing a crime.

As far as meet-cutes went, it was certainly a unique one.

She also didn’t suspect she would ever see him again.
You know, until that little crime she’d been committing ended up becoming a bigger mess than she could handle on her own.

And since she wasn’t, by nature, a criminal, she had no choice but to turn to one to help her…

What can I say, anyone who knows me, knows I have Obsession with JG’s books and 99% of her books I’ve enjoyed immensely! She definitely did not disappoint on this one either.

Remy, and Lark 's story

ღ Anyone who knew Remy knew the man had an obsession with rescuing Stray Animals., now he is adding to his Resume, Sexy redheads

Tell me why Lark with her family wealth is sneaking around in a bad neighborhood dressed as a cat burglar?

I mean, it wasn’t every day you saw someone wearing a ski mask in Miami. That kind of shit was interesting enough to warrant a little investigation. Especially when your plans for the night were dashed when you heard the shuffling of mice in a cabinet while you cringed at the little roaches in the sink of your potential fuck buddy

Remy was thinking that he would never see that sexy redhead again after she drove out of his life that night, until she showed up at his Clubhouse Beaten and bruised. With a car full of stolen dogs. desperate for help…… how sexy was that? I mean what more could man like Remy want …. well, he could do without the Beaten and bruised part ….

There are not many things that can truly set Remy off, only Lil things like -how the capacity for human cruelty against innocent animals would never cease to infuriate him, or low life’s that just happen to kidnap his woman.

Remy, has darkness that he didn't wear on his sleeve. But when he had a reason to wear it, it was an evil fu$king look on him…

Oh Lord, I almost forgot to mention. I can’t believe that JG actually got Arty out of his cave to come and Pitch in with Lark…….. Please please tell me that Arty is getting his own book soon.

I can also see Seeley getting book in the Near future.

Hell yeah.
This was exactly what I was hoping for honestly.
The plot was super cute and fun and entertaining.
The sex was hot and passionate and varied.
The characters were so freaking cute together and I loved her friend Myles, trying to push them together any chance he got.

Plus the animals. So freaking sweet.
I just really loved it.
I think these two characters were perfect for each other, and I loved the ending.
They have a shit ton of fur babies and they’re living their best lives, and I’m totally on board for that.
So glad I decided to skip to Remy’s book.
He’s honestly the only one I really cared about and now I know it was for good reason.

Remy is so frick'n good. I love the animal aspect of this story. Remy and Lark are the perfect couple. Lark is so funny. Remy is yummy and such a good guy. The lengths they go to, individual and together, for animals is awesome. I love this couple.

Yes, this book is an example of exactly why I love Jessica's books so much.
The perfect mix of sweet and action-packed excitement, which is what I love the most in my romances.

Yes, it's about outlaw bikers, but they're not like all the other MC members, these men, despite being criminals, have principles.
One of them is that they respect women and treat them as equals.

Remy is a special one, he loves all kinds of animals, be it dogs, cats or birds.  He collects them all, or actually saves them from the "bad" owners and then cannot part with them 😂

And then one day he meets a woman who is just like him, or even more obsessed with rescuing dogs than him, what happens then, you can only imagine, or don't try, because the story is so crazy, your imagination doesn't go that far 😂

I don't have to tell you that I love the book because I love all of Jessica's books, but this book is special because there's a lot of action, but all caused by an innocent woman who normally has never gotten in trouble with the law.

Read this book and enjoy because it's exactly what a romantic heart needs 🥰🥰🥰

This book just made my soul happy. Straight up. It's the feel good all good great characters and lots of sweet animals kind of fulfilling that I needed in my life.

Lark is just the sweetest!. She had such a big heart and an even bigger love of all creatures big and small. Her determination to save the pups absolutely set her up for a bumpy ride but I can't fault her morals or the fact she had the balls to do what she did. She was brave and generous with her love and honestly so relatable.

Remy was everything. That's it. You just can't fault a man who saves animals and defends them from the evils of this world. He was the sweetest with just enough dark and a whole lot of filthy that I could not get enough of.

I honestly don't think there have ever been two characters more made for eachother or truly compatible in every sense. They clicked from the start. The chemistry could be felt though the pages and the connection they had as they grew close truly was a thing of beauty. So special. They made me happy and I smiled so damn hard through their journey my cheeks ached by the end.

As always with Jessie, she delivered phenomenal characters, an interesting story that flowed seamlessly from one page to the next and all the feels. The side characters are EVERYTHING. The banter and bickering, the ridiculous shenanigans and dramatic brothers. Myles and his greedy ass. Everything about this book is just perfect.

I could of read this book without knowing is was Jessica who wrote it and still know it was Jessie's book. This is her in a book and it shows through the pages. There is action and little drama but that doesn't take away from this heartwarming sweet story. Oh and the epilogues?... well we know she kills them every damn time. It's why I'm forever unsatisfied with other books. Because she SPOILS US.

Loved it, loved them.

The Golden Glades Henchmen are fantastic! A group of guys who just so happen to be gun-running one-percenters in the Florida chapter of the infamous Navesink Bank Henchmen. Which means, of course, that they are talented, loyal and hot as Hades. When Remy ditches his dirty (no, seriously dirty) pickup from a club and happens to spy a burglar dressed in a cartoon-like black balaclava breaking into a building, he decides to check out what they are doing. When it turns out that the burglar has not only stolen a visibly pregnant dog, but is a gorgeous woman, he is intrigued. Being an Ace Ventura menagerie-owner kind of guy in the first place, the rescue piques his interest, but not nearly as much as the feisty, talkative redhead who perpetrated the theft. The latest instalment in the series is a heart-warming must read. Settle down in a comfy chair with your favourite drink and prepare for an awesome ride.

The authors love for all things animal always shines when she writes stories that feature them. This was such a heartwarming story. Two animal lovers from opposite side of the tracks who bond over their love and devotion and tenacity to fight wrongs being done to them. No spoilers.. Another great addition to the series and the tease of the future story of Seely and his woman.. Cruel :) Hope we don't have to wait to long..

Quick(ish) Review

I’ve been on a big binge of Gadziala’s Henchmen books, and there’s alot of them, so I haven’t posted reviews for each because it would literally be impossible and they’re all incredibly similar. But that’s ok because I’ve enjoyed that. This book has all the familiar bits that come with a Henchmen romance - there’s a damsel in distress, hot biker dudes doing kind of illegal stuff that’s dangerous yet somehow also feels safe. At least until the heroine gets kidnapped but I digress. There’s most definitely a formula but I find comfort in that formula because I know what I’m getting and I want what I get. Imperfect but entertaining.

I have to single this one out though because a) the MCs are huge animal lovers who actively rescue which I adore; and b) they CHOOSE not to have kids which I also adore because there’s not enough books that have childless MCs. I adore romance but so many HEAs, especially in these books, are predicated on the couple having eventually popped a passel of babies, so seeing an alternative that I can relate to was refreshing. I loved it.

SWEET

I love a story with animals and especially love ones where the characters are out to rescue as many as needs them. This story was a beautiful one of a big-hearted girl who rescues dogs from a dog fighting ring. Cruel and sadistic are too few words to describe the operators of said ring and all those in the real world. We’ve met Remy before and read about his loving rescues as well.

Loved it!

Ok I never thought I would say this about a Jessica Gadziala book, but this book was soooo cute! 😆 I’m used to hot, steamy, broody and alpha from her don’t get me wrong Remy was definitely a JG male but the laughter, the banter, the friendships and of course the animals within this book made it a lighter read for me.
This couple was literally perfect for each other! Remy and Lark are maybe one of the best paired couples in Jessica Gadziala’s catalogue. They had so much in common while also having many differences that added to the complexity of their relationship which made me enjoy this book even more. I’m hoping Seely’s book is coming soon because I need his background even more after reading this book!

Love

This was a great addition to this series. We have all been waiting on Remy to find an animal enthusiasts like himself and this story couldn't have been more perfect. The cover is perfection too. I loved the banter between the couple. The humor was on almost every page. Great sexy times. And of course the side characters are now needing thier own stories. And I will be reading those too.

It can’t get any better or hotter than a sexy biker and tons of rescued dogs! I love when animals are part of the story. I don’t think that the author could have created a better meth for Remy than she did with Lark. The chemistry was off the charts, and it was cute how they both kind of tried to deny the chemistry and falling for one another. Remy was almost too sweet for me, but parts of the end of the book and a VERY hot scene fixed that worry for me. The Henchmen Golden Glades chapter just keeps getting hotter and hotter - I love the two new prospects too!! Hoping for Seely’s book next.

We all have triggers and switches inside of us. A trigger for Remy is animal abuse, apparently a switch for me is when Remy gets angry and handles said animal abuse. My switch was flipped. Someone toss me in the pool, hose me off, or find me a popsicle.

description

Remy is the fourth book in the Golden Glades Henchmen MC, our Florida branch based of the mother chapter up in Jersey. In previous books he was always collecting strays, rescuing bait kittens, and even brought home a tortoise. This animal whisperer is one I have been looking forward to getting his happily ever after, complete with Dr. Doolittle menagerie, since his introduction.

description

Lark is far from a criminal, and I don’t suspect would have ever seen a life of crime first hand had she not decided to see an injustice and intervene. It’s cute when the non-criminals try their hand at good ole fashioned illegal activity – even if for the right reasons.
Heiress to a smoothie empire, Lark is just as sweety and good for the soul as that Mango Magic from Tropical Smoothie I think about on 90-degree days.

description

While the meet cute is amazing, the story and romance a whirlwind of wonderful…my heart belongs to Lyle. That’s all you’re getting on that though, because you need to read the book to hear all about my boy. No spoilers.

I was so looking forward to this book ever since we met Remy and his fierce love and protection for animals. But that part of the book was really a let down. I wish there had been more focus on infiltrating and taking down the dog fighting ring because they were abusing dogs. Instead the focus is on getting the gang who’s after the girl for stealing a couple of dogs.

I guess I wanted something more violent for the bad guys because of the animal abuse, and we didn’t get that.
The love story was okay but I didn’t feel they were in love, more like in lust. The pool sex scene was a little odd. I could only think about how bad her back must have been scratched up after laying back on the edge of the pool.

I can’t even recall anything about Remy’s background. I’m not sure we were told anything about it. I don’t remember parents or siblings mentioned, where/how he grew up. There was just nothing there to build the character on.

Unfortunately there were also a lot of errors. It’s common for JG to have spelling, grammar, wrong words in her books unfortunately, but this felt excessive compared to the last few I read.

I’m wondering if this book was rushed since she just released it right before announcing a new fantasy series from a new pen name. Like the announcement came out this week and this book was released like 2 weeks ago.

I really wanted it to be four stars but unfortunately it just wasn’t one that’s going to be memorable for me unlike some others in her MC universes.

Remy is the fourth book in the Golden Glades Henchmen series.

We know going in to this book that Remy is an intense character who feels very strongly against those who abuse animals. We also learn he’s protective and caring and a really great man. Lark is funny and rambly and an all around sweetheart. She too cares deeply for animals, and meets Remy when she’s in the process of stealing dogs used for fighting.

From the moment they meet, it’s obvious to everyone that Remy and Lark are meant to be together. They just clicked. Their love for animals made their bond that more special, and I couldn't help but pull for their happy ending.

Lark’s best friend Myles was a great addition to the story. We spend more time with other members of the club, who I am looking forward to reading their stories. I also hope we get Arty’s story. I think he needs a special woman to help take care of him, and to help him realize what a good man he is. I believe Seeley’s story was set up in this book, so I have a feeling we’ll get to see more of him and the good doctor soon.

Another good book from JG.

4 Intense Stars

Remy's story is the fourth book in the Golden Glades Henchmen MC Series by Jessica Gadziala.
His story was just what I needed to get myself out of a major book slump. Remy is someone we've heard and read before; he is intense and has a huge heart when it comes to animals. While walking back from a hook up that didn't work out, he stumbles across a figure all dressed in black looking to be up to no good. Curious he follows said figure and falls upon a Woman trying to do good but getting in a lot of trouble doing it.

Violence for the sake of violence was never acceptable. But violence to protect someone who could not protect themselves? That sort of seemed okay to me.

Lark has a love for Dogs and when she discovers a dog ring, she must do anything she can to stop it. But she may not have thought things through and gets stuck up the creak without a paddle and needs help. Remy is the first person she thinks to go too.

I loved this book, and it was just what I needed. As always, the secondary characters help make the book brilliant and I highly recommend this book and series.

MC Animal lovers for the win!

I'm a massive fan of this author (and animals) so Remy's book has been my most anticipated of the year so far. So very happy to finally get my hands on it.

In the previous books we have been introduced to Remy as an unwanted / abused animal collector. As someone who feels slightly psychotic if I seem an animal mistreated, Remy may be the one male lead I relate to the most out of all Jessicas heroes.

But Lark - oh my god, from the first babble her character had me in stitches. 'Ball-stabby / ball-kicky' needs to be made into an emoji stat!

Their story is funny, sexy and sweet with the right amount of peril and cameos from the Golden Glades Henchmen and the hang arounds.

The only downside to this book is there are now another dozen stories of the other characters. I NEED Seeley, Teddy and Alaric, as well as hopefully Arty too.

Thanks for another great read Jessica!

This book was absolutely adorable.
Yes, it it still an action filled MC book, in fact, my favorite of the series so far, but it was still adorable.
All of the animals were so sweet, I loved the addition of them. Perfect h for Remy!

The book as whole was great, exciting and the perfect counter villain for this story.

Each book has made me more and more excited for Seeley's book. I'm assuming he'll be the next one, I'm unsure how I feel about the possible h of that book seeing as she's against the MC, but if it's anything like Gadziala's usual books, it will be amazing.

Total awesomeness

Remy and Lark
Remy is a member of the Golden Glades Henchmen, he's rough but tough and an animal lover. Dog, cats, birds, tortoise doesn't matter to him. Lark crack's me up, she funny, smart and see to find herself in quite a predicament. Of course Remy comes to the rescue...... But does he save her in time???? Can't tell you, I'd give to much away. I love the chemistry between Lark and Remy, I love how well they just seem to mesh together. Through thick and thin. Love all the animals and what These two have in common. Absolutely fantastic story and you can't help love the characters.

Reading Jessica's books is like a relaxing walk in a familiar neighborhood. Although The Golden Glades Henchmen is a relatively new series, it has all the best elements of the original: great heroes, badass heroines, brotherhood, respect for women. It's absolutely amazing.
Though Remy was a great guy, Lark stole this book for me. She is the type of woman you want to get to know and spend time with. She's brave, loyal, funny, and unapologetic about her body ("If I jiggle, I jiggle"). We need more heroines like this in our books.

Puppy love

Remy & Lark are fantastic and sweet! I love the way they meet, the protective feelings Remy has right away after learning what Lark's doing, the way they just fit!!

This was a quick, engaging & entertaining read. I'm especially fond of the good guys in bad jobs vibe of the Henchmen. Still not a fan of the violence, and have to skip a bit when things look like they're going to get graphic, but there is a quote I highlighted that sums up my feelings on that pretty well!

And the dogs!! Love Lyle & the other menagerie of pets!

This book is amazing! I love Remy, Lark and all of their fur babies. Remy is a member of the Golden Glades MC. He finds Lark trying to save some dogs from horrible circumstances. The dogs are part of a rival gang, and drama ensues!
Rent is another fantastic book by Jessica Gadziala. I’ve read all of her books, and I have yet to be disappointed. Remy and Lark are a cute couple. They both love animals, and have huge hearts. The drama keep you wanting to read more and find out what happens. It’s a great combination.

Ok here we go. While this book was super cute with all the puppies & kittens & other various animals it just didn't do it for me. It was more like a TV show that you just have on in the background & not one where you're desperate for next week to come so you can find out what happens. I'm not sure if she was suppose to be a bit ditzy but she sure seemed that way with all the "like" she throws around. So with all that & the typos this book just kind of fell flat for me. Would only recommend if you can't handle the darker stuff.

I just knew I was gonna love Remy’s story.
I just didn’t know how much. We know he is the animal loving biker. You mess with a animal Remy will mess with you.

“Got a huge heart and three-quarters of it is full of animals.”

Lark is his perfect match.

But, I guess that was the ultimate fantasy before I met one Remy—Remington—Hot-biker-guy.

These Florida Henchmen are as hot and lovable as our NJ bunch.

Loving the animal lovers!

I think people who rescue and foster animals are the best people out there! Remy has always been one of my favorites of the Golden Glades Henchmen, and he deserved his own animal loving partner in crime.
Lark is so funny! I love where Remy describes her blabbermouth tendencies in such a sweet way! I don't want to spoil anything, but that epilogue- Jessica keeping her status as the queen of "family future"! (Still... the ducks were my favorite.)

I know and love this author’s style and books, okay? I know what I’m in for because all these biker stories are the same.

With that being said, I mean, if she could, like, take out, well, some really annoying filler words, if you know what I mean. See how annoying that sentence was? That was the whole book: I know, I mean, well, like. And as I said above, I know this is her writing style, but it was so overused in this book.

Fantastic read by Jessica. Hot as hell, hilarious and action packed.

Remy is the loving badass animal loving biker we have all come to know and love. And we all knew it was going to take a very special person to make the biker fall head over heels.

Enter Lark, sweet rambeling, smoothie loving, animal avenger, that made a hell of a decision that not only landed her on some bad guys radar but also into the very hot lap of a Golden Glades Henchman.
