Fireman's Secret Baby
Jake is a fireman starting over after a trauma happened at his last job. Dane is a house cleaner and the fire chief's daughter. Her brother sets her up with Jake for this banquet the firemen are having. Jake and Dana meet beforehand and hit it off. Soon things are heating up between them. However, when someone finds out what happened in his past Jake pushes everyone away including Dana. Will he see his mistake before its too late?

This is an amazing collection that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

The first book was okay, good enough to make me read the second one though not excited enough to jump into it right away. Then the second book just went downhill from there. It started off promising but soon the writing and editing was lacking and the characters felt juvenile and seemed to jump around with their thoughts and feelings to the point where it annoyed you. I also found a lot of the writing was repetitive character thoughts and I found myself skimming a large portion of this book. I also wasn't a fan of the MMC, he seemed to bounce around on what he wanted to the extreme that it felt discombobulated for me and not realistic. He also was kind of a jerk after they first got together, which can be forgiven but he just never felt like a solid lead.
I did finish the second book because well, I'm not a quitter lol. But I cannot bring myself to start the third and final book in the boxset, so this will be a dnf for me. However, a lot of people seemed to enjoy it, so even though it wasn't for me, maybe it will be for you :)

DNF -. I made it through the first book by skipping a lot. The story may have been intended to be a slow burn but it was just boring. Not enough character development to be interesting, not enough plot to be interesting. I really tried to like the book but I just couldn't.
Tried the second & third book and it was more of the same. I will give this author another try, since I like the way she writes, just not this series.

Not for me.
I found the characters to be childish and immature. And misunderstanding after misunderstanding drove me nuts. It's readable but I found it annoying. It may be just my personal quirks,, so you may enjoy it.
