Wow, that was bad. I used to love Roxie’s books. Not anymore.
Misty is a human that has been in love with Rogue, who is bear shifter for years. He’s always looked at her like a sister, so she never said anything. When Misty’s ex starts stalking her and a sexy alpha bear shows interest in her, Rogue suddenly realises what he feels about Misty. And it isn’t brotherly.
So they start dating and everything is romantic, until Rogue gets scared again. Leaves her to go find his mother, who abandoned him when he was young, ignores her calls and texts, and doesn’t arrange protection for her against her psycho ex. Her ex attacks her badly and Rogue swoops in to save her. No apologies for leaving her. She of course as a doormat just forgives him.
I’ve had it with Roxie Ray books. The women are all doormats that the men walk all over, but it’s okay as they love them!!! Aaaaargh!!! It’s not okay!!! Women shouldn’t be treat like this just because they love them! And don’t get me started on how bad the sex scenes were! He does something sexually, without any foreplay and it’s amazing??? 😡😡😡😡 Seriously!!! She actually writes that it hurt Misty but it was still amazing. Hmmm……

I really dont know how Roxie Ray does it. her writing skills are beasty when it comes to her books. and they are really unique and bing worthy. i didnt read a bear shifters serie yet. so it was all new to me. And i really enjoyed this book. i couldn't put it down just like the bluewater dragon series. it was really worth to read this book also. and i really enjoyed the world building. also they where lovely characters. only harlem i could shoot with his behaviour.

Roxie Ray has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Misty and Rogue. Misty and Rogue have been friends for a long time and she has loved him for as long as she has known him. Rogue doesn't see Misty that way and treats her like a sister. Things happen and Misty has finally decided to stop wanting to be with Rogue. She had been dating Harlem and when she breaks up with him, he gets mad. Harlem keeps trying to get her to come back to him but she doesn't. Rogue is around a few times that Harlem confronts Misty and he tells him to leave. There are some rogue shifters that come into town and the leader Sin takes a liking to Misty and this upset Rogue. Rogue tells him that Misty is his but Sin tells him that she hasn't been marked so she is not taken yet. Misty is talking to Olivia about her feelings for Rogue and she tells her that she has been in love with Rogue since she was twelve years old but he doesn't feel the same way so she is going to move on. Olivia gets a strange look on her face and Misty said "He's behind me." Rogue tells her that he is and he then takes her into her office so they can talk. Rogue has finally realized that he loves Misty and tells her things are going to change starting right then.
Will things really change for Misty and Rogue?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Friends to Lovers romance.
Misty is a human who’s been in love with Rogue a bear shifter for years. He’s always looked at her as a sister, but things change when Misty is stalked by her ex and another bear shifter is interested in her.
I’m finding out that I’m not a fan of Roxie Ray. Her writing is just ok and the women aren’t anything to write home about. Doormats is what they are. The sex scenes are so so.
What can I say its another quick story to pass the time. It was enjoyable enough.

A light, romantic read
After immersing myself in the world of Solaria (Zodiac Academy to be exact) I needed something light and sweet to soothe my tortured soul. Honestly, after all the angst of ZA, this book seemed a lot more juvenile, but still somewhat satisfying. It wasn’t earth shattering, but I didn’t hate it either.
“Rogue” is another one of the members of the MC clan of bear shifters located in Forest Heights, Idaho. He and Misty have been friends since they were 11 years old. Misty has been in love with him nearly this whole time. She has watched from the wings as he has been with woman after woman after woman. But she’s finally come to a point where she knows this requited love is not good for her, and after nearly 2 decades of waiting for Rogue to notice her, she decides to turn a new leaf . . . But Now Rogue has finally SEEN her as more than just a friend. But will his messed up past get in the way of both of their happiness?
“Rogue, I’ve known you since we were eleven, and since I was thirteen, I’ve wanted you to look at me the way you did today. I’ve stood by you. Through every girl. Every waitress, every groupie, every stripper, every single girl. Each one ripped my heart out more than the last. All while you overlooked me. While you bypassed me for something better. So no, I’m not chicken. I’m a girl who liked a boy who never liked her back.”
Of course, within the first few chapters, you’ll be able to figure out the entire plot. But for some reason, I wasn’t mad at it. I hate to spend an entire review for one book talking about another book, but ZA left me in such a funk, I’m going to need several “mindless” romance books to get me over this hump. This book does not end on a cliffhanger, but the final chapter does set up the next, and final, book of the series. I’m a bit sad about that, because a new character, “Sin,” was introduced in this book. I found him to be pretty interesting, and would love for him to have his own book.
If you want earth shattering, soul wrenching dialogue and plot, this isn’t the series for you. If you just want a mindless, lighthearted romance then this is your jam.

This is Rogue and Misty’s story.
I couldn’t wait to read this book especially with the ending of Fake Biker Bear Boyfriend. I wanted to see Misty make Rogue work for her affections that he tossed aside previously, unfortunately, that did not happen.
First, I must say I’m a little peeved with Misty for letting Rogue trample on her feelings for years; also, Rogue is an idiot who didn’t even notice what his bear was telling him for years as well apparently.
I’m going to ignore Harlem completely because he is a total turdburger and I wished he gotten more than he received.
But I was very interested in Sin (the Alpha) and his pack of misfits and Sin was very interested in Misty; for a moment, it seemed that she was as well. We never get more information on Sin and pack, they came, they annoyed, saved Misty and moved on. I wanted so much for Misty to have some fun with Sin just so Rogue could feel what she had felt.
However, once Rogue realizes his feelings, Misty just jumps on board and all is well; until Rogue has doubts and decides to figure it out without her. So basically he’s not sure if he can handle a relationship with Misty, but he doesn’t want her with anyone else either. Of course, while he is ignoring Misty something horrible starts to occur. Luckily Sin and Rogue arrived in time; this scene may be trigger for some.
I just wasn’t a fan of this book; after all the heartbreak she went through, even putting her feelings out there and Rogue disregarded her until his bear was fed up with him. But as soon as he decides he wants her, she jumps into his arms after a whole big speech about moving on.
Trey (formerly known as Reck) is next and his mate is Polly, Harlem’s ex; I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for them.

Misty and Rogue have been best friends since he saved her from being bullied in elementary school. They’ve always been there for each other. Through the fun times and the rough times, they always had someone in their corner.
Along the way, Misty starts to feel differently for her bestie. But Rogue only sees his friend, his family.
Over the years she’s watched him hook up with random women, hoping one day he might look at her differently.
When Rogue meets her newest boyfriend, all of a sudden his bear sits up and takes notice, and becomes over protective of her. He no longer wants just a friendship, he wants her.
I really liked Misty. She was a strong, capable woman. She owns her own business, very capable of taking care of herself. But loves the thought of sharing her life with the right man. Unfortunately all the men she chooses are absolutely not even close to being the right one.
Rogue I struggled with a bit. He was the dumbest smart person I’ve ever seen. He’s an extremely adept hacker. Some self taught, some learned from his not so law abiding uncle. But when it came to Misty, he was completely oblivious. Everyone around them could see how she felt about him. He had no clue. Even when it was pointed out to him, he still didn’t see it. But to be fair he had some family issues that helped put that block in place. Once he deals with those, he’s all in.
Add in an ex who can’t fathom anyone breaking up with him, a group of out of town bears causing trouble, and lots of family drama, it was an entertaining story.
Dual points of view. Happy ending.

Misty is such a sweet and kind woman and an amazing and loyal friend. And she’s quite the workaholic. But I loved her dedication to her coffee and book shop. Even more, I loved how brave she was when she had to deal with all the troubles and dangers thrown her way. She’s wonderful and I loved her so much!
And Rogue is absolutely the right male for her. He’s so strong, fiercely protective, dangerous, thoughtful and patient. And he had to deal with a lot of issues from his past in order to find happiness in his life. He might have been a little clueless in the beginning but he’s absolutely amazing and I adored everything about him.
I really enjoyed everything that happened between them. Misty has been in love with Rogue for quite a while and there is so much tension building between them. And they had to go through quite a lot, especially with Misty’s psychopathic ex and the new shifters in town. But they were a wonderful match and when Rogue finally realized and accepted his feelings for Misty, their friendship grew into a romantic and passionate love. Even more, I loved how supportive Rogue was and helped Misty in all her endeavours and that never tried to change her.
Overall, the story is another fantastic addition to the series. It’s filled with suspense, danger, angst, twists, action, steamy romance and wonderful characters.
I loved it and cannot wait to see what happens next!

3.5 but rounded down because of the small errors ( “ ) and the fact that Misty was kiiiiinda…
If Rogue’s oblivious, Misty was a bit… ignorant. In the sense that she didn’t know better, but it’s weird when most people would know better, and she didn’t. And by knowing better, I mean taking a serious threat seriously and not continuously ignoring it. Ignoring is ignorant. Just saying.
If she’s supposed to be a mentally abused person in the making, then fine, I get why she’d do dumb stuff. But it wasn’t always portrayed that way. And I say THAT because of how straight forward the writing is. Subtly making her a victim doesn’t sit true to me. It makes sense cause I don’t think she’s genuinely dumb, but it really didn’t sit right to have almost everyone not take Harlem seriously. They did the 24/7 watch for Kim’s ex-husband. They couldn’t do anything for Misty? You’d think it was this heroine who always got overlooked, not Lex.
There’s a pattern in the books by this point. A little bit of a let down with how cookie cutter it seems. Everyone says “one hundred percent” and everyone has a mental sex scene and everyone has a moment of their worst fear coming true before they find it it wasn’t real- okay well most, one couple didn’t do it, in my opinion. But you get the point. It becomes repetitive. Not as fun. I’ll be a little irritated if it happens in book five. At least change it up. Put the fear of God in the beginning and then sprinkle everything sporadically.

I really really really wanted to love this story & when that felt short I at least wanted to like it.. that also didn’t happened. So this story is abt a human (Misty) In love with her best friend (Bear shifter-Rogue) since she was either 12 or 13 years old. 1st kiddy crush which developed into “love”. The thing with that is that she never pursue it- by taking a chance & telling him how she really feels. INSTEAD everyone & their mother knew she was in love with Rogue BUT HIM- cause on top of being a biker bear shifter he is EXTREMELY dumb & very selfish. So she dated guys & he dated girls. Til one day a new shifter clan came in their territory w/out permission & the alpha of the 3 shifter clan took an interest in Misty THATS when he (rogue) started having feelings or understanding why his bear has become so protective of her.
Listen I read a lot of shifter books & one thing I love abt them is the mate thing. How the shifter instantly knows who is his mate. In this case that never happened & it went on for over 10 years. Listen I actually was hoping that she would end up with Sin instead of Rogue. She was a doormat & handle everything he threw at her w/expecting anything from Rogue. Meanwhile Sin immediately went for what he wanted & made her feel wanted & need which she was looking from Rogue & he always gave it to all his lovers except her.
So to conclude- the only reason Rogue wants Misty is because someone else (that can compite with him) now wants her bad.
Such a waste of a couple hrs!

I really really really wanted to love this story & when that felt short I at least wanted to like it.. that also didn’t happened. So this story is abt a human (Misty) In love with her best friend (Bear shifter-Rogue) since she was either 12 or 13 years old. 1st kiddy crush which developed into “love”. The thing with that is that she never pursue it- by taking a chance & telling him how she really feels. INSTEAD everyone & their mother knew she was in love with Rogue BUT HIM- cause on top of being a biker bear shifter he is EXTREMELY dumb & very selfish. So she dated guys & he dated girls. Til one day a new shifter clan came in their territory w/out permission & the alpha of the 3 shifter clan took an interest in Misty THATS when he (rogue) started having feelings or understanding why his bear has become so protective of her.
Listen I read a lot of shifter books & one thing I love abt them is the mate thing. How the shifter instantly knows who is his mate. In this case that never happened & it went on for over 10 years. Listen I actually was hoping that she would end up with Sin instead of Rogue. She was a doormat & handle everything he threw at her w/expecting anything from Rogue. Meanwhile Sin immediately went for what he wanted & made her feel wanted & need which she was looking from Rogue & he always gave it to all his lovers except her.
So to conclude- the only reason Rogue wants Misty is because someone else (that can compite with him) now wants her bad.

Rogue, love him, has only the best interest of his club and friends at heart. He would do anything for them. He's been through it, not been raised in the right way which is not his fault in the least but despite all that he is a good guy. That said the background has pretty much blinded him to things right in front of him, namely Misty. He loves her as a sister but you have to wonder if his subconscious is just hiding him being able to see that she is really his mate. No so for Misty who has been in love with Rogue forever, well since she was about twelve if she's honest. He was always her refuge but she just couldn't let him go. Thing is how long do you hold out for a miracle? Well her birthday kind of did it when he turned up late and smelling off more than just a woman's perfume. That was probably the end of the dream for her so maybe it was time to admit the guys she had been seeing where a smoke screen for her feelings. It was time to let the current one go and start looking for something real. Only it seems that her boyfriend, no ex, not leaving seems to have shaken something loose in Rogue that he can't put his finger on. Can he work it out before Misty finds someone else to focus on?

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Biker Bears Best Friend by Roxie Ray. I am addicted to the Bears of Forest Heights series. The reads in this series are so gritty and sexy but also sweetly romantic and offer heart pumping action and drama in the same breath and this fourth book is no exception. Rogue (our bear hero) and Misty's (our human heroine) story is an emotional read fraught with dangerous situations, emotional trauma, not quite unrequited love, humor, romance and finally an HEA. I devoured this quick read and found myself transported to the bonfire, smelling the smoke and feeling the tensions. A great anytime read that can definitely be read as stand alone but is much better when read in series order as the characters from the MC have their own luscious stories and previous events are referenced during the read. This is a Mature Readers Only Please.

I didn’t like that Rogue had all the evidence in front of him as to how he felt about Misty, yet he played the field and made no romantic move toward her. She has to be in danger before he slowly starts to realize that he could actually lose her. He waits until she decides to move on to finally make his decision. She should have told him it was way past the time to speak up.

Another manwhore which has NO place in mate romances which is all about being loyal to the bone after just smelling your mate the first time. But this guy apparently has screwed 5 different categories of trashy chicks that his mate is reminding him about. Bye bye romance. There is where you die in this book cause this “mate” doesn’t deserve a bear or a mate
The woman looked like an idiot. She was a lovesick puppy that also knew he was her mate and she watched him screwing hundred of others. He finally sees her in that way and she hops right into it. Its awful. I feel embarrassed for her. I wouldn’t touch that guy with someone else’s hands after he screwed his way through the town and didn’t see her til she was the only one he hadn’t slept with. I mean come on! He screwed someone else during their mate book! And showed up smelling like that woman and sex. It’s pretty much the most disgusting unromantic thing I can think of.

Misty and Rogue are friends. Rogue is a bear shifter. Misty was trying to get over her feelings for Rogue by dating someone else. However, her soon to be ex is giving her some trouble. When Rogue learns some bad things about her ex its sends him running her way. Misty was hoping this meant he might want something with her but he continues to pull away. Its only after he overhears her talking that Rogue knows he has to make some changes. Will he claim Misty for his own? What will they do about her ex?
This is a great story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. The chemistry between them sizzled with evert turn of the page. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Rogue and Misty had been best friends for years and she had loved him the whole time. Rogue had abandonment issues since his mom left him at a young age and then he went into foster care when his father went to prison. He knew he loved Misty but could not seem to get to the commitment level. As he deals with his issues, she dates, in frustration, and ends up with a few really bad news guys. The characters are well developed and determined. The storyline is entertaining with multiple plots going, like the future of the coffeeshop she owns, the motorcycle club he is with, the truth about his family, and so much more. Loved the chemistry and how things were worked out, especially with his mom. Great ending.

Rogue and Misty have been best friends forever and Misty has been in love with him almost as long. However, Rogue thinks of Misty as his little sister and won't cross that line, except his bear doesn't agree.
Ms. Ray has written an intriguing addition to her series. This story has drama, trust issues, scary exs, secrets, laughs, and passion. This was a sweet romance where Rogue kept denying his feelings because he didn't think Misty could feel the same. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of drama with their romance.

Very good story, actually excellent
Rogue was so dense but thankfully he was able to do good and not lose the woman that was ment for him. Amd now they know there are A LOT MORE HALF SHIFTERS!! That makes me so excited for them. Misty was the sweetest but really smart and not a total wilting flower. The reunion between Togue and his mom... all the emotions there bottle up. I was actually socked into that particular part of the story.
Also, I was glad at least in this story to see a scumbag and his family finally not getting their way.
And for a moment, I thought Sin would tell Rigue they were brothers or something. 🤔 I mean he was there to help Rogue save Miaty when what's his name the scumbag had attacked her. Wondering if we'll get a story on him at some point.
Now I am getting ready to listen to the next book. I am really, really excited!! 😊

This was a sweet book of best friends one whis been in love with the other and the other not knowing until its almost to late. Rogue always was protective over Misty he never saw it any other way she was his best friend but when his bear starts getting restless and he starts thinkong back he realizes thay maybe hes been in love with her and not in the big brother way after all. But things dont go smooth with stalkers other shifters and Rogues abandonment issues their relationship may be over before it even starts.

Tenemos a Misty que es humana y ha sido por casi dos décadas la mejor amiga de Rogue un cambia formas de oso. Ella está enamorada de él, pero el piensa en ella como una hermana. Ella lo apoya en todo y por supuesto conoce a todas las mujeres que han tenido que ver algo con el (que son muchas) y aunque le duele verlo con otras nunca le dice sus sentimientos por miedo.
Cuando por fin parece que va a seguir adelante y dejar a un lado sus sentimientos por él, Rogue se da cuenta que es su compañera y decide que la quiere 🙄 obviamente ella ni siquiera le pone las cosas difíciles, no, le perdona inmediatamente todo el dolor que le ha causado. Lo mínimo que quería ver es que se arrastrará por si perdón.
Me hubiera gustado que Misty le diera una oportunidad a Sin.

Rogue was a very much not into a commit commitment type of a man. He would bounce from one chick to another. Misty has been in love with Rogue since about 12 years old but he never saw her like that. When she finally realizes it’s never gonna be, she starts to heal, but rogue starts to feel weird and not understand what the feelings are. When another shifter comes and hits on her he becomes territorial and also protective of her from her ex who has a list of women that he’s hurt in the past. Will these two ever be on the same page?

He has to face up to his true feelings for her and why he's always felt so protective of her and didn't like when she was with anyone else. Misty has been in love with Rogue for years though he seems to be clueless. When Misty needs help from trouble at her door Rogue finally opens his eyes to what's been staring him in the face for years. You really need to read this cute story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

This is the 4th book in the Bears of Forest Heights series. Misty is in love with her best friends Rogue but he's still in the best friend stage. Now you have an ex who isn't happy that Misty broke up with him and then you have a new alpha, Sin, who's getting all worked up in the coffee shop where Misty works. I always thought that shifters could smell their mates when they were together. What takes Rouge so long to figure this out. Will Rouge finally see that he's in love with Misty? Will he in time if the ex does something to Misty? Some danger, action and drama beside getting romantic.

Having read many of Roxie Ray's books, I was looking forward to this new one. Unfortunately, it was not as compelling as some of her other novels. Starting out slowly, the action becomes very predictable about half way through. Well written style wise, it did not come off as a shifter story as much as a unrequited love turned deep romance. It did leave me with some unanswered questions, like who was Sin and hat was the deal with his group? They were introduced and appeared in a few scenes, but no real explanation was ever given as to who they actually were. Overall, not her best work.

Friends to The One
Rogue and Misty's story had great moments throughout. Loved learning about Rogue's background story and also for how long Misty and he knew each other. He saw her as family and she felt he would never see her for other than that. Although, Rogue was the last to come to grips with the truth.
The plot was very well written. Moments of laughter and danger. The only reason I could not bring myself to give it five stars was because I felt I was left hanging in reference to Sin. Needed more. Now we know that Trey will have his redemption story with Polly. I still wonder about Sin, will be have his own story?
