Hope Redhood and her companions—Cor, Caniff, Castrum, Dena, Rabbit, and Rosa—are on the run from the Wizard, Teros Demond, and his terrifying daughter. Why is the Wizard willing to kill to regain his stolen gem? Can Hope and her crew escape the strange robots lurking in the tunnels beneath San Francisco? And will they survive the pirate captain Bloody Gums’ dastardly betrayal?

4.5 Stars. Wow! Fantastic! It's still real early, but I think series is gonna be phenomenal. I appreciate good artwork, but I'm always much more interested in the story than the artwork. That being said, I'm still much more interested in the story here, but JH3's artwork is absolutely amazing. The wide-screen format works extremely well & really takes this story to another level. What's really gonna make this great though is the story, once you start reading you don't want to stop, only 2 issues in and I'm completely invested. Highly recommend!
I cannot stress enough the tremendous amount of detailed artwork by J.H. I have been a fan since Batwoman and this does not disappoint. I want to know more about this rag tag group of thieves and those on the fringes of this society. So many questions about the Wizard, what is Hope hiding under that glove and what the actual f@#$ is that thing the Wizard calls daughter. I can't wait for the next issue and to the eventual re-reading session for all the details I missed.
Hardcore. It's a heist and a chase and has robots, elves vampires and creatures from unknown origin. Then we end up on a boat on a way outta town. What could go wrong?
