Seeking a Healing Touch

Chloe King, a beautiful, petite, ash blonde intern with wide blue eyes, has to fight against her nature. She tends to be very passive and wages war on that characteristic every day. She is constantly reminding herself that doctors—even doctors-in-training—must be decisive. A doctor should be able to take chaos and turn it into a controlled situation—lives depend on that ability.

And as she passes through her 20’s, she is improving—her move from New York City to Grizzly Banks, Montana is evidence that she is taking control of her life—her career. She will no longer let others determine her wants or needs or timeline as her previous boyfriend had tried. He wanted her commitment to him at the price of her own personal needs. He wanted them to have sex, but she knew that she wasn’t ready to take that step. She needed to set her own schedule for moving forward both with their relationship and her own life.

Her ex had wanted her to delay or even postpone her internship to allow them to explore their relationship. But she knew that she needed to complete her dreams, to follow her passion. She had listened to him for 6 months, postponing her internship, but she would delay not longer. She would accept this internship as an OB/Gyn so that she could move forward in her field. So, when her ex makes her choose, she does—she had postponed her dreams for him. Now, she must turn those dreams into reality. She moves from New York to Montana to fulfill this next step in her medical journey.

But, what she never anticipated was that her move to Montana, while moving her forward in her career dreams, would also challenge her to explore her own personal sexual development, especially when she is thrown into the powerful vortex of Ryker Cohen, the handsome, driven 40-something Chief Surgeon at Broadwater Medical Center, one of the area’s largest medical centers. Ryker is a man who lets nothing stand between him and a patient. And even he sometimes questions whether he will be able to form a relationship with someone who doesn’t need medical treatment. Ryker is a successful surgeon in a small mountain community. He is considered a playboy because he doesn't do relationships. He buries himself too much in his work. He is so buried in his work that he neglects some of his non medical obligations. He was supposed to pick up the center's new OB/gyn doctor at the airport and help her settle in. Instead he sends his assistant to pick up Chloe. He put Chloe out of his mind until he is introduced to her again. She may be the one woman who he is willing to have more than a night with. Its too bad she annoyed with the way he blew her off on the first day.

Chloe is ready to start a new life. She is tired of giving into the demands of her selfish ex boyfriend. Its time for her to follow her dreams and go after her dream job. She had heard so many things about Ryker as a fantastic surgeon that she couldn't wait to work with him. However she learns the first day that he thinks more of his work than his co-workers. She is not going to put up with his attitude even if he is very sexy.

I enjoyed this short romance story with all of the characters. The two main characters were Chloe King and Ryker Cohen.

Chloe King is moving to Grizzly Bank to do her internship for OB-GYN. When the doctor that was supposed to pick her up  doesn't show up and instead send a assistant to pick her up. She is surprised when she does finely meets the famous doctor of the medical center.

Dr. Ryker Cohen is the head of the Cardiology at the Broadwater Medical Center the is in Grizzly Bank. He is a very busy man that doesn't have the time to pick up an internship from the airport. So he sent his trusted assistant to pick that person up. Later he meet the internship person and is surprised by her.

This was a fun short story to read. It had action and adventure within. It also had a few laughs to.

IN this book we meet Chloe King & Ryker Cohen. Chloe needs out of New York and the new position in Montana she has just got will give her that chance. Ryker isn't looking for love or commitment but one look at Chloe has him wondering about the possibilities. These two seem like an unlikely pair. An anti-commitment man and a woman who is just looking for that something. Somehow watching these two fight it leads you to believe there is a chance for any of us. Will they get their HEA you will have to read it to find out.

Amazing hit by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable for the most part. The characters were interesting but I didn't feel like we knew them well enough to really like them. Chloe and Ryker met at the hospital. She was an intern and he was the head of Cardiology. Chloe and Ryker were definitely attracted to each other. They had a few interactions where they didn't talk very much. I felt that their relationship just came out of nowhere. I did like how the story ended. I recommend giving this book a try, maybe I just wasn't feeling this one.

This is book number 2 of the Wealthy Bachelors series and focuses on Ryker and Chloe. Ryker is a successful cardiologist at the hospital that Chloe is doing her internship at. Ryker is a workaholic who stays away from all distractions so he is surprised by his reaction to Chloe when they first meet. They both feel the attraction but it takes them a bit to finally give in to their feelings. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

He has always been so focused on furthering his career that a long-term romantic relationship hasn’t been a priority for him. He meets his newest intern, Chloe, and quickly realizes that there is much more to life than work. He wants her and he always gets what he wants.

This short and steamy age gap romance is about cardiologist Ryker and OBGYN intern Chloe. Ryker has no time in his life for a relationship but meeting Chloe makes him feel like maybe that needs to change. The tension between these two is fantastic and well described. There is a sweetness to Ryker that you don’t expect as well which leads to a really great ending.

Ryker is a busy man with a hospital to run and when he forgets to pick up the new intern, he sends his assistant. Chloe isn't too thrilled with him but when they meet sparks fly. Ryker doesn't have time for commitments but there is something about Chloe that has him going. Has fate finally stepped in and found the perfect woman for Ryker and will they have a happily ever after given the man's job?

I really wanted to like this book. Chloe and Ryker were good characters but there really isn't a story. 80% of the book is Ryker telling himself to stay away from Chloe for a host of reasons. That got old really fast. It is a fast read, just not the book I'd hoped for.

This was my first read from this author. It's a story about Ryker and Chloe, told in the dual first person point of view which is always a deal breaker for me. These two meet when Chloe does an internship with Ryker and he's fascinated by her from the start. I really enjoyed this one.

Chloe is a new intern and she is new to the area. Ryker was supposed to be picking her up from the airport but isn’t able to. He’s very stand-offish at first and doesn’t seem to want to be in a relationship because it’ll be too distracting but suddenly gives into his feelings and is willing to compromise.

Ryker is a quick and short Romance.

In the book, we soon met Ryker and Chloe, two doctors who want, on the first look, opposite things, but in the end, they find what they were looking for in each other.

There isn't much to say without giving away too much of the plot. And as much as I wanted to like it, I couldn't; It felt too rushed, and the characters weren't developed; at least for my liking.

Hay partes de la traduccion que no me cuadran pero bueno igual la historia estuvo buena interesante y rapida de leer.
Cloe King +20 es pasante de ginecologia obstetricia que ha ido aplazando sus pasantias por peticion de su novio a quien cuando le dijo que ya no esperaria mas para cumplir con su sueño le puso a que escogiera el o la carrera...... obviamente escogio la carrera y cuando llego al Hospital donde conoceria a nuestro medico cardiologo Dr.Ryker +40 penso que nunca estuvo mas segura de que esa fue la mejor decision.
Antes de darse cuenta que debian estar juntos tuvieron algunos encuentros serios relacionados con sus preofesiones, ella como ginecologa y amiga de Melany sospecho de un soplo de uno de sus gemelos por nacer entonces tuvo que pedir opinion al Dr. Ryker y eso lo enamoro mas.
Finalmente se dieron cuenta de que se amaban. se fueron a vivir y encargaron bebe de una vez.
