Ever since I was little, I've been a prisoner.

They told me I was sickly, that going outside would kill me. But the truth comes out when I'm kidnapped by four dark, sinfully gorgeous vampire princes. Turns out, I am the biological daughter of their maker, the vampire king.

I am the heir to the throne. Me, the girl who hasn't danced in the rain or gone to prom or even been kissed.

But I can only take up the role on one condition. I have to choose one of the princes to be my mate and king.

The problem?

All four are vying for the throne and it's hard to say who wants me for my blood, my body, my love, or my birthright.

What ensues is a dark and dangerous game of seduction, secrets, and bloody love in the Coven of Sin.

Okay I LOVED this book! It hits all my high points—vampires, RH, enemies to lovers, coming into power, forced proximity, mates.. just 🔥 Love the heroine, even though she’s a bit frustrating at times. LOVE the primces—they all bring something unique to the table. I also loved how there was actual character and plot development, which is often lacking in RH novels, and I am dying to know what happens in the next book!

Wow! What an adventure! I’m in love with these characters! Absolutely amazing story! Ruby is a different type of FMC, one who starts off as sickly and weak, when she is in actuality, a fierce, strong Queen. Her men, Corry, Sterling, Eros, and Vincent are hot, damaged and dangerous! Lots of steam in this book! Reading how they all find one another and develop their relationships was captivating! I had a hard time putting this book down. It ends on a heck of a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for the next book!!

Immediately attracted to each other, one of them is a total d*ck but she finds him too hot so she can't resist him even when he's mean.
The chapters started at really weird moments. I think it would have been better if there were less chapters so stories won't be cut in half.
Also there was a lot of repeating in the book, kind of like every few chapter you would get a recap of what happened 5 chapters ago. Wasn't necessary.

Our Sins in Blood is an interesting take on vampires and follows our FMC Ruby who has been locked away her entire life. Everything gets turned upside down when she gets kidnapped and learns that vampires are not only real but that she is the half-blood heir of a now deceased vampire king.

Icing on the shit cake: she must choose a mate from her father’s four progenies, the vampire princes Sterling, Vincent, Eros aka Deathwish, and Corry before being allowed to take the throne to keep her father’s coven in power AND she only has a few months to do it.

As if that wasn’t enough, Ruby has to deal with that fact that not everyone is accepting of the idea of a half-blood queen on the throne, there’s also a mole in the coven leaking information in an attempt to take the throne from her, AND a fifth progeny long since been presumed dead come back to life that they need to worry about.

The one thing Ruby does know is she needs to find a way to keep all the princes, because choosing one is no longer an option. She needs all four princes—Sterling whose battered soul calls to her own, monstrous Vincent who brings hers to the surface, Deathwish to balance her need for pleasure and pain, and Corry to keep her humanity.

I’ll be honest I wasn’t sure I was going to like this at first. I didn’t really connect with the story or the characters until about 25% in, but once things started picking up and shit started going down I was hooked! The book ends on one hell of a cliffhanger though, and I am dying to sink my teeth into (😏) Our Sins in Shadows.

Okay so this is a new to me author who I have heard amazing things about and let me tell you Our Sins in Blood was spot on!! I mean come on you get vamps, enemies to lovers, RH, mates and all the freaking heat you could possibly want. The princes Corey, Vincent, Sterling and Eros are fantastic they are all different but bring something that each other and our girl needs in this crazy relationship. I am firmly a why choose kind of girl but Vincent gawd how I love his broody alpha a-hole self!! He speaks to my little black heart! This book will have you sitting on the edge of your seat wanting to know what will happen next and with that ending having my jaw on the floor I Cannot wait for the next book!

Part of me wants to give this a higher rating, but I just couldn’t. It was ridiculous. If all you want is lust and sex, it’s probably 4 stars, but I need at least a BIT of believability in my books. She meets these guys and she’s crawling all over them within minutes. She’s begging for sex and acting like a spoiled teenager through most of the book. She’s never left the bedroom she was locked in for 23 years and she totally just rolls with learning she’s half vampire and rightful queen now.

At one pint, she also takes a ride on the back of a guys bike and then pickpockets his keys and steals the bike and rides off on it without blinking. She’s never even ridden in a car and I’m supposed to believe she hopped on a sportbike and instantly knew how to drive it?! As a former motorcycle racer, that is insanely laughable. Oh, and she loved the wind in her hair every time she took the bike out, which tells me the author did zero research because Massachusetts had a strict helmet law! 🙄

Add in that the book seemed to be 90% sex or arguing as a form of foreplay and I just can’t take it. I skimmed the last 40% of the book just to finish it.

Out Sins in Blood

I would give anything for this book to be multiple POV. This book was addicting and I loved it.

Ruby grew up confined to her room by her mother. She had a “sensitive” heart so she wasn’t allowed to go to school or have friends like a normal child. One day someone broke into her house and broke her out. Turns out she is half vampire/human and the daughter of the old king of the vampires. The old king also decided she was supposed to be queen over his 4 other progeny’s. As you can imagine, that makes a lot of people mad especially Vincent who is determined to make her his. The other progeny’s Deathwish (Eros), Corry, and Sterling want her. Commence the drama!

Quick and effective intro, dropped you straight into it. For anyone looking for a good old fashioned reverse hareem it´s a good shout. I did think there were quite a few inconsistencies in some small details but nothing to do with the main plot really, but it does sometimes throw you out of the book a little when you notice unfortunately.

Tiktok made me read it annnnnd i’m not mad about it. Is it a good story? Lmao no not really. It’s kind of horrible. It’s very much giving wattpad. Is it addicting? Omfg absolutely who doesn’t want to read 600 pages of vampire bachelorette reverse harem smut? If you don’t like that though… definitely skip it because that’s all this is.

Mild spoilers below but it’s nothing that is going to ruin it for you:

This story follows Ruby Baxter, a 23 year old who has been locked in her room her whole life due to a heart condition that causes her heart rate to rise rapidly upon excitement. (basically the plot of “Everything Everything” but that only lasts for about 4 chapters) when a hot steamy vampire comes and breaks her out. It is then that she learns she is the lost vampire princess and she must take the vampire throne now that her father has died. (it’s so bad) Upon her reluctant arrival to the Cape Cod vampire coven she learns that she must become queen and choose a mate from the four wicked sexy dudes that her dad uses as like apprentices. She is encouraged to court them all until she finds one fit to rule alongside her. Obviously they all have something to say about it and also really want to sex her up.

That’s kind of it that’s mostly the whole story. There’s some other stuff going on with other vampire covens and subplots that are uncovered but the focus of this book is Ruby and how she gets along with the vampires. The tiktok I saw that made me want to read this said it was “the darkest book they’ve written yet” and “it’s so dark and sexy” blah blah blah but honestly I wasn’t impressed.

Unfortunately for me this is my favorite kind of trash and I ate this shit up and will likely continue on with the series. Fantasy romance is absolutely my jam. I probably wouldn’t recommend this book to friends out of embarrassment but if this is what you like then it’s pretty on point. 3.5/5 stars

I was in a major book slump when Amazon recommended this book to me, but every once in a while Amazon finds me a GEM so I had to give it a shot.
BOYYY was I not disappointed!!
I was a little worried in the beginning about how this would go, I need a strong female lead in order to really enjoy a book and was worried we wouldn't get that with how the MFC was raised but I was pleasantly surprised!!
She starts out kinda not so strong but that's understandable with her past and being thrown through a loop, she finds her feet and voice quickly though, and isn't one to take shit...
AND her guys, omg. What I wouldn't give to have one, or all of those men in my life.
Each one of her relationships is so unique from the other just as each of the men seems to be so different from each other and I am here for that! Often times I find RH books have set styles of guys you get, and while the personalities of those "typical" guys are the same in this (because why wouldn't they be, if it ain't broke don't fix it) They are all very unique in their back story, how they are with her, each other and just as people altogether, it was very refreshing to know who was who without getting confused the way that can often happen when two or more characters are to close in personality.
I ate this book up soooo fast and I am so excited for book 2, this book did end on a cliffhanger but it wasn't the worst cliffy ever so I won't really complain about that as I feel like this is the year of the cliffhanger and all books are doing it.
Just read it!! Give it a try because I wrote off vampires after about 4 series were all so much the same and this one gave me hope that vampires can still be done and done differently.

MFC = Stereotypical Idiot

Ruby. What can I say about Ruby? She’s like a pre-teen adolescent who wants to rebel and be an adult but sounds like a stroppy two year old. Ok. She was basically brainwashed. Her vamps are odd and very damaged. Ruby is incredibly selfish. She also bullies her way into their lives but gets bratty when she doesn’t get her way. The men in her life sometimes say no, but she’s insistent. It’s almost dubious content. I don’t think the author quite gets this.

Vincent. There’s always one stupid male character. Macho. Controlling. If he were a real Alpha he wouldn’t be so controlling. He’s a toxic male. Very toxic. More toxic than Eros - and Eros is a killer with sadistic preferences.

This story is so outlandish (yea I know it’s a RH and paranormal to boot). Ruby is so hell bent on knowing how her father dies, but no explanation why. She didn’t know him. He kept her locked up and then in some last ditch FU to his “turned progeny” names her as his successor. She “needs” to know why he died. Why? The man was a butcher. It’s not like he cared for her. It’s another poorly contrived way for “two year old” Ruby to lash out. It’s tedious.

Ruby isn’t fit to be Queen. When you find yourself rooting for the rival coven to kill off the main character, you know the author went wrong somewhere.

So here we have Aiden Pierce who is a new author to me and oh lord this book was it intense. So you will get sucked into the book within the first chapter and it will not let you go til you finish. So we get vampires and half vampires/humans. The main character is Ruby and there were many times where I wished I could smack some sense into her but no worries she finally gets it. At first we are just a little confused but as you read on it clears up. I think it was because I wanted to know what was going on and why she was a big deal. So she finds out some pretty important information and then everything just gets crazy. She doesn't want to around anybody and she wants her freedom. But the question is whether she will get it? Does she understand what is really going on? What about the guys, Eros, Sterling, Vincent and Cory. How crazy are they? Will they help her or torment her? Well I can say that she gets her jig on that is for sure. Will she have to choose one of them or will she be able to keep them all? Then we get to the end and bam we get a cliffhanger! So now we must wait for the next book to come out.

This is the first book in the Coven of Sins series. Ruby spent her 23 years of life thinking that she has serious health problems. She was forced to stay in her room, with no other contact but her "mother" and "doctor". One night, she didn't expect to have her world completely flipped upside down. Everything she knew, would never be the same again!

This is my first book by Aiden Pierce also my first all vampire RH. I have to admit, in the beginning, it fully didn't grasp my attention. However, as I went on, I couldn't put it down. It became more and more action packed, full of angst, steamy as hell, and also fascinating plot and characters. Her guys are so delicious. They are all completely different personalities and I totally loved that in a harem. The twists and turns had me flipping the pages. I do like Ruby, but would maybe have liked to see her process having being "held hostage" for 23 years a little more...although I do admire her freedom. I seriously can't believe that cliffhanger. Definitely can't wait to see what happens next! Soooo good!

🌶🌶🌶🌶

A really good reverse harem! The dynamics and personalities of all the men differ and are very unique. Its not hard to tell them apart, and all of them have a important place in Ruby’s life.

I don’t just hunger for your blood, Ruby Renada. I want it all. Your blood, your tears, your cum. And this is my oath to you. Before the vampire crown hits your head I will own every goddamn drop of you. You fucking understand me?”

There IS a lot of brooding and tears, ( but also a lot of good smut so it basically cancels out imo). The storyline starts off a little cliché but the twists and turns make it unique.

“Oh, dear little half-blood. I promise you, you’ll want to follow my rules. If you do, I’ll reward you.”

I CANT WAIT for the next book. I need to see where this goes (I’m really hoping for a harem smut scene😭)

Okay, so this is my first true RH, and I'm not mad about it! I feel like this world is so fleshed out because the author is truly interested in telling this story. At times there were some small inconsistencies in Ruby's behavior, but they made sense considering she was just finally getting to find herself. The vampires? Hot. The plot? Involved, for sure. The smut? We're here for it. Ultimately, I really wanted to know what was going to happen next because there weren't any dull moments, and you can just see the author's love for this world and these characters on the page. I can't wait to read the next one!

the first mmc we met is a complete dick and we still have to read about the fmc getting wet every time he looks at her. He kidnaps her, chokes her, calls her a bitch multiple times, insults her repeatedly (and all this within the first 10 chapters mind u) but she’s still attracted to his “big dick energy” i’m not joking she used this frase several times. Nothing more cringy than pop culture references on a book ugh.

Also I was starting to believe the fmc had some sort of amnesia because of how many times some things were repeated. Like the same things were explained one, two, even three times sometimes. It was annoying and unnecessary.

Started out pretty interesting, the characters, at least some of them, have interesting backstories and things you don't expect. Feral turned out to be something compeltely different than I was expecting him to be. Sterling's backstory feels like it's just a script flip of the typical abused woman who learns to find love again. Eros is a stereotypical "bad boy psycho" who isn't really that psycho, though he does some some messed up things. The villan is practically a mustache twirling bad guy and Corey is the frat bro.

Ruby. Is annoying. She didn't start out that way, but as the story progessed, she came across as a brat, with way too much world knowledge for being a shut in her entire life, with no realistic adjusting to her situation, or abilites. The way the writer talks about "the monster" in Ruby, it's also very annoying, because "the monster" is either because she's Thomas Knight's daughter, or because she's a half vampire, and "the monster" is nothing more than Ruby having blood lust, raging sexual lust, or protecting herself. Feral's "monster" on the other hand, is what you would expect someone's acutal monster to be, though the reason we get to see that side of Vin, is so eye rolling and stupid. The sheer amount of violence and abuse feels like it's nothing more than for shock value and to make the story "edgy" In all honesty, this book boarders on being just as bad for pushing the toxic love is real love trope, as Twilight and 50 Shades.

Her handling of Lexi. Was disapointing. So was the fact that Lexi was made into the typical jealous conniving girlfriend villan. She had been setup with an interesting backstory because of what she is and why she's with the coven, that ended up with her and Ruby having a highschool fight, in the ladies bathroom, complete with swirlies, which somehow made the hundreds of years older than Ruby Lexi, "respect and fear" Ruby...

The writer does have some talent and some really neat ideas I did enjoy, but some of the word choices, felt compeltely out of place, there was way too much repeating of phrases or words and whoever the editor was, lacked.

I did enjoy most of the story, though when it came to Ruby's first time with Eros, I was completely turned off by how that situation was handled and Eros in general, is an eye rolling stereotype for me. The sex scenes aren't that great, tension is either drug out way too long, or there isn't enough. Overalll, it wasn't the worst paranormal romance I've read, but it's certainly not as great as a lot of these reviews says it is. I gave it 3 because I did enjoy some of the characters, and the writer's ideas, and because she managed to avoid some of the typical tropes with the characters you'd expect.

Our Sins in Blood is the first book in the Coven of Sin series and it is the first book by Aiden Pierce I have read.

Ruby has been locked away all of her life because of a "heart" condition. The only people she has contact with is her mum, who feeds her through a slot in her bedroom door, and Dr Sharpe who comes to monitor her and leave her medication for her “heart” condition.

Ruby loves reading supernatural romances, so her world is turned upside down when she gets kidnapped and learns that vampires are real and that she is the half blood daughter of Thomas Knight, the vampire king, who is now dead. With his final breath, he announces Ruby as his heir.

It is decided by the vampire council that she has 4 months to choose a mate from her father’s four progenies, Sterling (who is part of the vampire council), Vincent, Eros (otherwise known as Deathwish) and Corry before she can take the throne and try to keep their coven in power.

Ruby soon finds that not everyone is willing to accept a half blood as their queen.

There is a mole in the Cape Cod coven she belongs to, that is leaking information to their rival coven in Boston.

We also find out there is another progeny, Dagon Knight who wants to take the throne. Everyone thought Dagon was dead.

Ruby soon realises she can’t choose just one of the four princes. She needs all of them by her side.

Sterling whose soul is a match for her own. They are destined to be mates, even though he doesn’t want the throne so won’t mark her as his, even though he is more than happy for her to claim him as hers.

Vincent who has an inner monster that brings out her own inner monster.

Deathwish, who needs pain with pleasure and helps balance out her own need for pain.

Lastly Corry, the youngest and most humane of them all who feels he was created by her father to help her retain her own humanity.

I have Our Sins in Shadows ready to dive into.

I loved this book and am so happy I read it.

Let's chat main character, Ruby is skittish in the beginning due to her fucked up life thus far, but she comes into her own and starts figuring shit out by the end of the book. I really enjoyed how willing she was to fight for what she thought was right (and was willing to admit when she fucked up as well), and the horrific revelations she faces about her father are a lot for anyone, but she takes it as it comes.

Now onto the men's - hot damn. First off, Vincent is kind of a dick. He has these moments of brilliance where he's kind of amazing, but my god is he a butt hole in most interactions they have. I do feel he had some good growth in this book but there's definitely going to be more needed before this wraps up.

Corry is by far the sweetest and most normal of the men, and being the closest to Ruby's age that totally tracks.I enjoyed how normal he made Ruby feel, taking her on a date and introducing her to normal human experiences she'd otherwise missed out on entirely until this point.

Eros - our resident psycho. He gave me everything I've ever wanted in a completely devoted psycho. His clan hate him, but he remains fiercely loyal to Ruby no matter what they throw at him. He's a kinky mother fucker too which I really enjoyed. He sort of gave me Kallum Anderson but a Viking vampire instead of the illustrious Dr.Death. Easily the hottest physical presence.

Sterling is an enigma. I am a huge fan of tortured men and blind men, Sterling is both of these and it makes his magic particularly special. He resists his love for Ruby, but I firmly believe he loved her the hardest and from the second he scented her.

The story was about what you'd expect from a vampire why choose, it was speedy and constantly changing from one drama to the next, and the fast pace made it feel like a much shorter book than it was (in a GOOD way).

I’ll be 100% honest, vampires aren’t usually my thing. But Our Sins in Blood had be enthralled from the very beginning and I could not put it down. It’s one of those books that will keep you up until 3am (I’m speaking from personal experience) with its fascinating characters, amazing plot, and steamy interactions between our characters. Ruby may be a virgin, but she throws herself off the deep end into darkness and depravity and is a total badass. In the beginning she wants nothing to do with being queen, but by the end of the book she has evolved into the queen the world needs, even if she doesn’t have a crown.

If you love Diesel from Den of Vipers by Katie Knight, you’ll love Deathwish in this book. He’s twisted and misunderstood and gives me all the feels. Corry is an absolute sweetheart who doesn’t care about anything except winning over Ruby and is an amazing ally for her throughout the book. Sterling is the levelheaded one, cool, calm, and collected except for when it comes to Ruby… their courtship was probably one of my favourites. Also Sterling gifted Ruby a library and shares her passion for books, so he’s obviously a keeper. Last but certainly not least we have Vincent, who is a dark and sarcastic alphahole intent on denying his feelings and antagonizing both Ruby and his brothers. I’m so thankful for the “why choose” mentality of this book because I know if I were Ruby, I absolutely could not pick a single Knight progeny.

Unknown enemies plotting Ruby and her men’s demise, sizzling chemistry between the characters, and lots of twists and turns to keep you on your toes will ensure that you can’t put this book down until the very last page.

What a freaking ride!

Holy hotness! Does Aiden Pierce know how to weave a delicious tale or what?!? Our Sins in Blood, the first book in the Coven of Sin series is a deliciously dark RH vampire romance that is definitely a must read for any paranormal, vampire loving RH fan!

This is the story of our FMC Ruby, a girl who has been locked away her entire life, essentially living a lie, until one night where fate intervenes and she’s “rescued” aka kidnapped, and suddenly discovers that all the mythical fictional things she once yearned for and dreamed about are real…and that she’s also not only a half-blood herself but also the heir of a deceased vampire king. An heir that must choose a mate amongst her father’s four progenies, Sterling, Vincent, Eros and Corry.

This is a story full of deceit and betrayal, action and intrigue and of course lots of steamy heat and connections as the five of them fight it out amongst themselves to see who shall walk away the victor. But one thing soon becomes obvious in that Ruby can’t seem to choose just which prince she wants…and wants them all. I loved how Aiden slowly developed this new world, and creates each character so strong and unique in their own way, and absolutely loved how the story came together!

Overall, if you love your heroines fierce and feisty and your men sexy and slightly psychotic in their pursuit of owning the one female they desire—at any cost—then this is the one for you!

Wouaw😳 intense!

It was a long time that I didn't read a book about vampires and I'm not disappointed at all! You find here all the ingredients of a good vampire RH romance. The characters are pretty intense and the steam is💥💥💥😉

This book tells the story if Ruby, a 23 years old girl who has been held captive in her room by her mother for 20 years. Ruby's mother and a mysterious doctor had make her believe that she was sick and shouldn't go outside and stay quiet, sheltered in her room.

When a imposing guy broke into her room, telling she's a princess and have to come with him, Ruby's world is completely shook off.
Ruby realised quickly that instead of being free, she became captive in a new world that claims she's their future queen and must choose a king between four intense guys.

About the guys...wouaw😳 I like Corry and his sweetness but he's too young and still too submissive to his brothers. Vincent is a d*ck...but it must have one in every harem, right? The end will reveal more about him and let see another side of him. I like Deathwish, as twisted he is, and my favourite is Sterling, the broken romantic and extremly powerful one. And of course, they are all gorgeous and sexy...a lot to handle for Ruby! 😏

It's interesting watching how Ruby grows up along the book. The next books will be fierce and captivating!

Another Update***** SWOON ALERT, Sterling is my fav the chemistry between them omg. I feel like he would be the one for me buttt I so love Corry, Eros and Vincent(sometimes) this is so hard. I see why she is so confused on a choice, look at her options ughhh.

Update*****OMG WE FINALLY MEET EROS(DW) swoon I think I’m in love, now I hate that she went down there to piss off Vincent but I’m ecstatic that EROS came home early and she gets to feel a total different energy. Now I’m just as far as her meeting him the first time but I think he’s my fav.. for now.

I’m only on pg 227, and I’m in love with the writing of the book and also I’m screaming at Ruby to get her head straight and focus on being a badass.
Also…. IM TIRED OF HER EVERY THOUGHT BEING ABOUT VINCENT SO FAR… so far I don’t see the appeal in him, he’s an a**hole. An usually I love the a**hole who grinds my nerves, but there is so many others I feel it’s not fair, and I hope this isn’t like a premonition of who she chooses because I hate it *dramatic tears*

She needs to focus on giving everyone a chance, she too wrapped up in him and proving something to him, he needs to prove to her.
