Pack your bags - we're off to a holiday camp! Milo can't wait to see the wildlife, Manny's learning survival skills, and even Granny's going to have a go at archery. Honestly, I just want to read my book, but there's NEVER any time to relax for Anisha, Accidental Detective. The holiday park's mascot, Delilah the duck, has been DESTROYED, and my new friend Cleo is everyone's number one suspect. But I'm sure she's innocent, and I'm going to do whatever it takes to prove it. Let's hope we can find the real culprit, and QUACK the case!!
This was my favourite in the series since the first book. I felt the characters developed in a nice way throughout the book and it was actually one of the more believable mysteries in the series so far.
I really liked how Milo came into his own with his love of animals in this book and Manny seemed to have more depth to his character as well.
The setting for this book is what I essentially envision as Sherwood Forest centre parcs but slightly more duck themed. I think is will be relatable for a lot of children as they will more than likely have been to a holiday park of the same sort of style.
This series continues to be such fun! This time, Anisha is on holiday and all she wants to do is read… but there is of course a mystery to solve! Along with her trusty friends and some new ones, can she solve it before the party? These always make me smile! I love the illustrations throughout too - they’re so great!
Anisha is going to a holiday camp with her family but when they get there she finds out that the holiday park’s mascot Delilah Duck’s wing has been stolen! Anisha investigated and she found out that someone is pranking the holiday park because there is a prankfest. It turns out that the wing thieves were three boys who work at the camp.
