At a remote campsite in the mountains of North Carolina, a woman arrives seeking the protection of Boyd Glover, the technician known as Falling Rocks.
Falling Rocks is renowned for being a careful, meticulous planner who leaves nothing to chance. He thinks everything through, six times over, before making a move or a decision. However, the skills of the accident specialist paled in comparison to their team leader, The Archangel. A leader, three steps ahead of everyone in the game, especially Falling Rocks, who enjoys the life of a loner.
Charlotte Worthington didn’t want to be under the protection of such a man, nor to be forced into his company, but she needed a change in her life. If the Archangel said this is where she needed to be, then she trusted his guidance. She understood why Falling Rocks was chosen to be her champion, and also realized he was the man the Archangel had chosen to be her husband.
Too bad no one told that to Falling Rocks.
The Technicians return to summarize unanswered questions, bring to a conclusion a lingering problem, and start a new adventure. There is always love, laughter, and learning in the next installment of the international best-selling serial, the Technicians. The ground is tilled for a fresh planting, this time, with a Blind Seed.

This book is awesome!!! IT IS EVERYTHING!!! I love every character she writes. Reading this series gives me the feeks🤣😂👍🏽🙏🏽 Love, intrigue, sex, violence, murder and most of all LAUGHTER!!! O.G. will make you laugh out loud!!! You can’t go wrong with anything she writes!!
OMG..This is my 3rd favorite from all of the Technicians. Charlotte had me cracking up throughout the entire book. The sayings that came out her mouth were priceless. Poor Boyd, he didn't know how to take her. Their interaction was a teaching moment from day one. The Arch Angel knew what had to be done as always. Charlotte and her fathers meeting/conversation was how it should of been done. She found her voice and held her own. Pop Neary is STILL my favorite with all his sayings lol. The meeting of everyone shows that you don't have to be blood related to be called FAMILY!!
Charlotte Worthington was the last thing that Falling Rocks wanted or was looking for. But the Archangel had plans for both of them. Charlotte, born Cady Slanecki was the Glitterman's daughter. She and her mother ran away from his crazy delusional self years ago for their safety. Now Charlotte was tired of running and was ready to face her father but she had to face him on her own terms and that of the Archangel's planning.
Falling Rocks was used to being alone in the woods. Gabriel Neary A.K.A. The Archangel just upset his app!e cart when he dropped off Charlotte to him for his protection, to be her champion. Gabriel knew that all of his technicians worked better when they were married with families. Now it was Boyd Glover's turn to be set up. But he did not like it one bit. He found himself being more attracted to her day by day. She was too, even though she told him she was gay, which was her defense mechanism, which she quickly dropped because she wanted the "Vanilla Gorilla." He refused to touch her wanting her to be sure that was what she wanted. The Archangel took care of all the legalities so when the Glitterman came looking for his little girl, he'd find a grown married woman whose husband would tear down the world to protect her. She would do the same for him. No one was taking her away from her husband and her new life with him.
I loved this story and the way Olivia used words. Charlotte's character tickled me in how she described the most common things and actions. She finally came out of her shell with trying to be inconspicuous around men. She was able to talk to her father and tell him just what she thought about him. She had a new life and was determined not to let her father further ruin her life. She was ready to live her life to the fullest with Boyd Glover as Mrs. Glover.
NOTE: My favorite quote in the book; “Well, f&ck,” he said, watching the sweet innocent face that said the filthiest things in the most adorable manner.
I am sad with all her series you cry because you don't want them to end you want to see more of their lives. I want to know about the other mechanics from the other regions. Please tell us you will be doing them ,plus you got two of Mr. Angle mechanics that haven't been match ,slow and Ms. Hump. I want those stories an then the other regions mechanics, the cowboy or the the woman that scare everyone at the meeting she had fruit that made me laugh how she said about someone taken a bite out of one her fruits. I like this book but I felt that falling rocks was tame. I didn't get scary guy now arc angle now he gave me scary guy for the way his Security was set up an how he just know things that took me by surprise and scare me a lot. Hey , I love she brought everyone back for a family get together to help falling rocks and Christine that made me feel like so good inside with that being maybe the last book an that a new series may start with Mr. Slow and Ms. Hump. If that is wrong than yeah because I want more books for this just got good! So who is the collector??? And why do he want all these women an why did he steal a cook from a soul food restaurant after closing and who is her cousin that the fruit was to be contacted by her but she said no an wanted the Road signs instead and who is banana why is she second to Mr. Yield in tracking things?!!. I will wait and see. Happy reading😀😊😊
After years of tracking and getting in the way of the Technicians while hunting for his daughter we’ve come to learn the fate of the Glitter man😱.
The Archangel picked the right guy in Boyd “Falling Rocks” to partner with Charlotte, the glitter man’s daughter🥰. Boyd like all the other technicians was not looking to get hitched and the way Charlotte is with him it didn’t look like it would happen. I laughed😂🤣 enjoying the funny banter they had with one another and when they finally did make it official it felt like it was always meant to be❤️😍❤️. The Archangel is always sneaky, allowing Glitter man and his daughter to meet was a plant that was executed flawlessly. With the Collector becoming a new criminal needing to be looked into I am looking forward to seeing how the technicians deal with him🤨.
Ms. Gaines delivers with every Technician book and this one is no exception. I loved how they all came to Falling Rocks to support him. I look forward to more books in the series👍🏽.
I just loved Falling Rocks and Charlotte. Their introduction was good, their attraction and chemistry grew slowly into a relationship and the overall story flowed well. Nice humor throughout, balanced with serious emotional issues. All of The Technicians made an appearance and the conclusion with Rami was good.
I didn’t like that the book ending at 75%, but the epilogue nicely leads to new drama.
This is one of my favorite series. The characters are blended well throughout the books and occasionally there is a cameo appearance of a player from another series (Mail Order Brides, The Delgado Files). Good writing, colorful characters, engaging plots, humor and just good reading entertainment.
It started off boring, then got exciting. I almost skipped to the last chapter. I kept reading and couldn't put it down. Archangel is the stuff. I just love him. GIVE HIM A BABY!!!! When I think we are done with a killer, another one surface. Can't wait for #9. Charlotte was worse than Falling Rocks. These are some scary assassins. Cherry is right about the police not caring about a missing black woman. These assassins are my new heroes. When they find the collector, I hope they don't go easy on him. I love this book!
Ms Gaines you have done it again! This was a great story. I cannot wait for the next book! I loved the chemistry between Boyd and Charlotte was smoking hot 🔥! The journey they took toward each other was interesting and entertaining to say the least. The drama kept you on the edge of your seat. I could not stop reading. When the whole crew arrived it was truly exciting to meet everyone all together. This book gets you ready for what's coming next. I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers you will not be disappointed.
Lately I've been feeling some type of way...Olivia,girl you trying to make me believe your writing these books. Sister lady,no,no,no.You try to show up but that's like your peeping through the window. I left my job early to read this book.I have been waiting,I needed some Olivia Gain in my life."To thine own self be true". Do I need send out Technician? Or are you going through,do I need to set you up with the Dr/ mechanic .Come on sister lady
I truly enjoy this series Fallen Rock didn't know what hit him. I will say that Rami "the glitter man" was a psycho but he was also a victim. Instead of talking or voicing her concerns (she was a teenager so I kinda understand) she lied on her father which caused her mom to run with her. So while he wasn't completely innocent I say they all had a hand in creating the psychotic killer. Can't wait to read the next installment especially since Detroit is mentioned.
I laughed alot in this book it was funny silly and very interesting the way you wrapped up the gilllter man how he died was very
dignified and peaceful. He heard the truth and still in his delusional state did not listen to what his daughter told him which was the saddest part of the book. But overall great book was not disappointed at all. Can't wait for the other two.
Loved it. Finally Glitter man is no longer a threat to anyone. He somewhat has closure with his daughter even though he feels that he is the way he is because of what others have so called done to him. He was definitely delusional. Also was surprised to see that there are other enforcers out there besides the Arch Angels group. Can’t wait to see what their story is. Highly
This author never disappoints. I love the technician series and the ramping up of intriguing back stories that make the present relevant to plots rapidly paced, and contorted end. How dark is an Archangel Gabriel to set right a serial killer and his seed. My best purchase of 2022. Waiting for next in series.
The Archangel is weaving his magic putting together Boyd"Falling Rocks" and Charlotte the Glitter Man's daughter. I loved how their relationship developed with the help of Gabriel Neary's machinations. Great story keeps you riveted until the last page. Looking forward to more stories about the Technicians.
Took my time reading this next book in the installment of the series. Quite enjoyable reading! Olivia Gaines is an excellent storyteller and weaves you right in along with the characters. Looking forward to the next in the series. This is best read in order of the series for the full enjoyment and understanding.
Love this book. Even though it's not the best in the series it was still a good read. I will recommend buying the book. Waiting for the next Olivia Gaines book.
You have done it again Mrs. Gaines I truly loved this book best Phrase In this book Was Vanilla gorilla I love it Thank you for For another great story okay For another great story for Mr. slows Story to come to.
I enjoyed this book and love new character Charlotte. Also getting to know Falling Rock and Exit better. I can't wait until they have a family reunion. Also we got two new traffic signs. I recommend the entire series and can't wait to read book 9. We have a new bad guy
I must say Ms. Olivia did it again. It was a good read from the beginning. Again strong characters and funny. You can have great moments of laughter. All eights books have brought great joy!
A great read, I love the way Mrs Olivia uses humor in her romances. She develops characters in a way that gives you a humanizing collection; that you have to love then flaws and all.
I have read all the books in this series. Never a disappointment. Love the characters and the laugh out loud moments. Looking forward to your next book. Hope its soon 😊
This book brought all the technician together. It is not the best of the series.By any means but it ended the reign of me Glitter. There is so much sickness in this world .
Of course I re-read all my Technicians to catch up and flow into this book. I didn't see that ending but what a doozy!! Love, love and love even more this series. Ready for the next one!!
I love the Technicians series. Charlotte and Boyd are a good addition to the hilarious assassins and fix it crew. Whenever I need an escape or palate cleanser I can always rely on this author.
This series is off the chain crazy! Charlotte and Falling Rocks are good for each other. And the fact that Glitter Man is heavily involved in this book will have your head spinning. Another GOOD mystery romance thriller.
Can't wait for the next book and a full family reunion...including Charlotte's mom. Love the diversity, the laughs and the love in this dysfunctional family.
I love this author's work, I enjoy this series as much as the mail order bride's one. Love the storytelling, always has me laughing, it's great I recommend.
