Dear Readers (Raniero Fangirls) have come to expect my emotionally crippling writing style.
Storyteller embracing diversity. Coffee addict. Mango lover. Blueberry fetishist. Sweet peach tea crazy. Red wine devout. Whiskey deviant. Tattooed & pierced. Bare feet. Sand. Sun. Collects rosaries. Fanatical organizer/cleaner/list-maker. Never sleeps. Hermit and recluse. Social media avoider. Sexy trucks, bad mofo alphas, hot ink, loud music, long nails, and good football. Brisket is a birthright, y’all. Being in the water is a good thing—mermaid in a former life.
I worship everyone who reads one of my books, whether they enjoy it or not, and firmly believe they should all wear a crown.
“That was the past; this is the present—you are the future I long to impress.”
Talking With Ghosts part 2 blew my mind. This book is nothing average, on the contrary, everything is it and everything I felt was deliciously violent the emotions and characters gripped me. They are passion incarnated. The raw love and hatred, the gut-wrenching violence had me excited and anxious for more. This is a story that deserved to be savored in order to experiment the depth of the layers that build the plot.
"This was the mafia— the butcher shop—where forget and forgive didn’t exist."
Sal, Iris, Deacon and the whole cast proved to be resourceful against adversity. The chessboard, in perpetual movement, revealed new strategies and loyalties. Sal's newfound maturity felt magnificent, sobriety is very alluring. With each new opus, I am in awe of Iris as a woman wanting to thrive and play in a men's world. Her quest and expectations, her dreams touched me.
"I am the maiden, mother, and crone for my architect, spiritual advisor, and deranged warlord."
Mrs Samuels' brilliant prose worked it's magic on me. Every part felt vivid, the darkness still felt colorful thanks to the wide range of emotions her words instilled in me. I cried, bit my nails, laughed and swooned. I fell in love, and in lust all over again.
