I have a hard time believing in supernatural stuff, but I do enjoy reading 'true' stories. And this isn't me distrusting the author, it's my whole belief in supernatural. True or not, there's some interesting tales in here. There's a couple that I wish had been longer, but they're all still good tales

Great collection

I absolutely loved this collection of ghost stories. They all had a creepy vibe , some more than others, that really drew me in. Definitely one of my favorite horror anthologies I've ever read. Definitely recommend.

Just a bit dull.

I love ghost stories and have many books on the subject matter, sadly this one didn't really cut the mustard. Not at all spooky and the stories were more like newspaper reports. Sorry, just a bit dull.

This is one of those "okay, but ...." sort of books.

The stories are fine and nicely written, but there was nothing here to chill my bones. That may be because I have had an encounter with an unseen entity myself in the cellar of an old south London town hall. I simply knew I was being watched. Years later I worked at a place where the ghost of a long dead nurse was regularly seen going about her duties.

I don't find the existence of ghosts spooky at all, just a strange part of normal life. So ghost stories intrigue me, but don't especially scare me. This short book may however scare some.

Such a good collection

I love this book. The stories are short and very well written. And a wonderful collection.

Short, sweet & entertaining

I enjoy reading about the paranormal & love books like this one that have short chapters that I can read in between doing chores, in the bath etc. Each story was intruiging to read, whether you believe it to be true or not, its still so fascinating.

A well written and interesting book. The stories are absorbing and quite new to me and I read a lot of ghostly stuff. I felt quite disappointed when the book ended. A definite read for all 'ghost story' enthusiasts.
