I really got sucked in deep with this book. Not one page has you wanting to put it down. Tate is such a strong female character that you just want everything to work out for her, after being shot by her fiancée.
And boy the sparks that fly when she wakes to find Case, Jay and Sean again after 8 years of not seeing them. With plenty of twists and turns we also get some steamy moments too. Plus an explosive ending to make the happy ending that much sweeter.

Never disregard a scorned woman

This book grabs your attention right away. The plot is absolute craziness.

Tate is our FMC and she comes out right away ready to expose her cheating fiancé of 5 years...only when she does, she is NOT prepared for the backlash and utter menace she sees on James' face.
When she wakes up in the hospital, she is surrounded by her past. A past she thought she left behind when she couldn't choose. Like with any life-altering experience, she is realizing that life is too short and now she wants what she wanted 8 years ago and will not choose, she wants it all.

Cace, Sean and Jay have waited 8 years to claim their girl and when tragedy strikes, they finally stop waiting and dive head first. Will Tate be ready to accept them? What will happen if James comes back to finish the job?

This book was good. I enjoyed the storyline, but I did feel like everything was rushed. I wanted more from the characters and more steam! I enjoyed that the author let Tate be the one to end things and she didn't require one of her guys to help at the end.

This is a beautiful love story with the usual twists and turn and betrayals. Also I'm a total sucker for second chance at love story. I loved how after everything that Tate had to endure she was strong and fierce and finally got that she deserved and was worthy of love not by just one guys but 3. If only things like that happened in real life. I also enjoyed the playlist as well. Overall a fantastic read. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are completely my own.

I don't normally real contemporary books. I'm all for fantasy and magic with my RH BUT this story was anything but ordinary. A twisted start that then reunites friends who wanted to be lovers. Tate got exactly what she didn't know she needed when she needed help to put her life back together. I loved the little throw away lines that help you connect even more to the characters by rooting them in a reality that could be your own. From the battle scars emerges her new strength she never knew she had.

Oof! This definitely pulls at the heart strings. If the beginning doesn't pull you in I don't know what will. I could not put this down! Finished it in one sitting lol Tate literally sees her world crumbling after the betrayal of her supposed fiancee. 4 friends, after 8 years and their own lives with heartbreak, careers, etc to all come back together. It was a great redemption for Tate, taking back her life. There's trigger warning ⚠️ at the beginning. Also it gets 🔥🔥🔥🔥 you will not be disappointed!

Insatiable by D Sparks is a contemporary RH. It's the love story of Tate, Jay, Sean, and Cace. Tate, the FMC goes through hell and back!
The multi POV is easy to get to know and love the characters.
I liked how all characters supported and loved Tate.
There were some moments where I was blown away and I liked how it didn't turn out exactly how I thought it would, yet it was better for it.
And the bad guy, James, omg, he was easy to loathe!
The ending was brilliant and I really was hyped after I finished reading it.
There are so many things I liked, but the music, it was so great to check out some songs I had never heard before and appreciated the list to check the artists out.
I look forward to book two in the series.

A quaint happily ever after, reverse harem book to add to your collection. While I don't normally go for such contemporary and realistic stories, it was a good read. I liked "meeting" the three successful men who were not afraid to voice their feelings towards the woman, who had gone through a tremendous trauma. If you like long lost friends to lovers with a little bit of steam, you'll enjoy this.

I so fell in love with this book. My heart hurt so bad for Tate and what happened to her. I instantly fell in love with Cace, Jay and even the grumpy Sean. This book took me away from page 1 until the end with a fantastic plot and great characters.

Well what can I say tates story is full of love betrayal and heartache what a rollercoaster of a ride. I love how even after everything tate as been through she still stands strong and finally believes she is worthy of love by not just 1 but 3 very well deserved men who would walk to the ends of the earth for her,and as for James let's just say he had what was coming to him my heart broke then slowly got put back together again fantastic read

Standalone friends to lovers 😍
This is an interesting plotline for a standalone with some real emotional connections!
Tate is our FMC who faces some real trauma at the hands of her @£&% fiancé but it leads her to where she’s meant to be!!
Her three best friends in college tried to make her choose and she walked away rather than destroy their friendships, leading each of them to try and build their own lives.
However after an incident with her now ex these men fall back into her life more mature and willing to share her rather than loose her again 😍 Jay the now confident geek of the group who brings a smile to her face; Cace the caring leader with everyone’s best interests at heart; and Sean whose recovering from his own past and helps to settle Tates fears!
They begin to reconnect and rebuild to create a life for themselves whilst trying to get Tate out from the claws of her ex….Will they be able to get the lives for themselves they know they deserve?! 😏

Insatiable, the first book in the Damaged series by D. Sparks, was a super fun quick suspenseful read about lost lives, betrayal, deceit and finally the reconnection and rekindling of love.

Tate, our beautiful heroine, tragically has her life suddenly thrown upside down when the one man she thought was by her side turns on her drastically and shoots her life to hell. Literally. Waking from a come, she finds herself lost, broken and questioning everything…but also in the care of a doctor that’s a blast from her past.

Cace, Jay, and Sean are three men from her past that never quite got over Tate…or Tate them. What happens next is a quick reunion and a fast burn romance as they all slowly rekindle their connection and overcome their pasts all while trying to keep Tate safe from the evil that’s coming after her.

This story does progress quickly and has a few jumps throughout but it doesn’t interrupt the flow at all. I loved the premise of the book and loved that this story was told in multiple POVs and how each guy connected with Tate on a different level. And while there was definitely some spice and heat i could have used a tad bit more. ;)

Overall of you’re a fan of contemporary dark RH friends to lovers romances, then this is the one for you! And I can’t wait for Trixie’s story in book 2!

Chase, Sean and Jay are her best friends from college, and all love interests, but when she couldn't choose, she couldn't have any of them. Now she's realizing she doesn't have to choose and never did.

I was NOT expecting how incredible this book would be. Not only is there steam (and oh boy is it good), the story itself is emotional and really grabs hold of you. The plot is literal craziness from start to finish and a wild ride that you just can't help but love being on. Tate is a fabulous FMC that has realistic problems that didn't just magically solve themselves. She fights and struggles and works toward happiness.

Sean, Jay and Chase all have their own unique qualities, and bring different attributes to their group dynamic. Tate is incredibly lucky to have three men so willing to put her happiness first in many ways. This is a slower burn romance that doesn't immediately take off in the romance area, but it is worth the wait.

Insatiable, by D Sparks, is a standalone novel that is easy to read and you won't want to put it down. It is a contemporary RH that is mainly friends to lovers with a solid ending that ties everything up. It also happens to be the first book I have read from this author, but I will say that she is now on my radar, and I will look into her other works.


This book is the love story between Tate, Jay, Sean, and Cace. Tate is the FMC and she goes through hell at the beginning of this book, but she makes a fantastic comeback! After five years together Tate realizes that she no longer is in love with her fiance but is really just going along with the flow. One day she follows him back to their house where she catches him red-handed cheating on her. But instead of him being sorrowful and sad, he pulls a 180 and tries to kill her, The plot thickens when it turns out that he has been planning this for quite some time. Flash forward to her being reunited with her college BFFs who are her guardian angels and swear to look after her from now on.

As I said before, this book was a quick read that was easy to digest and get lost in. The descriptions were quite good as well- you could imagine the places that were named in the book quite easily.
The characters were straightforward and never really deviated from their spot in the group. The book is told from multiple POV's which helps explain where each character is at. A great read for the upcoming spring/summer.

Insatiable

This book is one of those books that sneaks into your soul and stays with you for awhile. It makes you laugh, cry and cringe. But it doesn’t leave you without Hope.

Tate is someone I would definitely be friends with. She is real, caring and sometimes too truthful. All things that are important in life.
She goes through unimaginable trauma and is now doubting all the things that she thought were absolutes in her life. But all things in life come in shades of gray. Some of the grays are dark and scary, some are of the lighter and happier shades that leave you with a sense of peace and happiness.

If you’ve been looking for a book with all of the feels, then look no further. Sit down, grab some snacks and a mega pint of wine🤣 and enjoy Tate’s story….bonus points for the playlist that’s included in the book.

Loved the playlist at the start, really puts you into the zone of the book. Also love the references throughout the book to music.
The start is devastating, such a shocking incident.
Tate is such an interesting character, with a unique career. She is very independent and stubborn which makes for a great edge to the story.
Really interesting way that she meets back up with her friends from the past, they were thick as thieves in college. Those 3 men are hot AF ‘grown arse men’ with all leading interesting lives/careers since they were together last.
This book is well written with so much detail, the twists and suspense were perfection. Lots of steamy scenes.
Overall a great read and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series

This book was definitely a page turner! I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I started this and boy did this go beyond my expectations!
Tate is engaged to James, doing the thing she loves most as her job and feeling that something is just not right.
This book started out with a bang literally! Tate finds herself fighting for her life with her fiancé on the run for attempted murder!
While she’s in a coma, she has ghosts from her past reunite for a second chance with the woman they love.

This story was scary, heartbreaking and heart mending! Tate awakes to the three men she should never had walked away from 8 years before. But they are not letting her walk away this time. They want her and will fight for her in every way possible.

I really enjoyed this story. It's a contemporary RH. Tate had 3 male best friends in college, but when they asked her to pick one she couldn't and so she walked away.
It's now 8 years later and Tate needs help, all 3 guys have been biding their time, and now they are sure they can make a relationship work between all 4 of them, they just have to convince Tate whilst also dealing with someone from her past who is determined to put a stop to it all.
I liked all the characters, they all brought something different to the story. The way that the guys don't necessarily get on 100% makes it all a bit more realistic for me, instead of the usual "best buddies" who share.
The story isn't just about Tate and the guys, there is also some suspense thrown in.

A bittersweet story of 2nd chances at love after tragic circumstances. Tate (FMC) goes through some horrific and life changing events that puts her life in perspective. It also brings her college friends - Cace, Jay and Sean back into her life. Unfinished business and unresolved feelings come to a head for all of them. It makes them all focus on what and who is important in their lives. Yes its a bit dark in places in places and steamy but its also really sweet and endearing too. I genuinely loved Tate and the guys. I wanted them to get their HEA ending. Insatiable is a great read with brilliant characters that touched my heart

The author tells us this is a story of redemption, and I can’t think of a better description for it. A little bit romantic suspense, a little bit psychological thriller, and all hot hot hot. Tate and her heroes have to overcome the demons in their midst – both literal and figurative – before they can claim the life they weren’t ready for those many years ago; to find a happy ever after all together. I positively devoured this book, it pulled me in so deeply. And, I’m happy to wait (im)patiently for the author to give us the next in the series.

Awesome read

This is the first book that I have read by D. Sparks & I was not disappointed! Tate Charles lives in a large house with her fiancé, James. She has a career in costume design but something is nagging her, she is almost 100% positive that her fiancé is a little less than faithful.

This book will take you right into the action & run away with you. It is a lost love/friends to lovers/reverse harem type story. I really enjoyed the banter between Tate, Jay, Sean, & Cace. I can't wait for more from this author.

Insatiable is a contemporary RH and a beautiful love story between Tate, Cace, Jay, and Sean. Tate goes through a dreadful experience at the beginning of this book, and it brings about her reuniting with her three best friends from college, Cace, Jay, and Sean, who come to care for her. They care for her, helping with her recovery, and along the way it leads to something so much more. Overall, a great read and one I recommend. This is my first read by this author and I’ll definitely be reading more.

Wow, what a read, OMG. This book was an amazing read that from the moment that I started reading I knew I was in for something special. The guys help the girl they have loved forever after a life changing incident.
They stood by herside and protected her.

While this is not my usual or preferred genre, I enjoyed this story. Tate went through a horrendous experience but glad that her heart was open to love with her guys. And similarly, that they were willing to have this with her. Fascinating characters with good dynamics. It was super sweet at times, a bit steamy, but certainly a HEA. Oh, I also enjoyed the playlist of songs.

Oh this was a good one. Lovely stand alone RH romance that follows Tate and her guys. It’s a second chance romance that starts after Tate has a rather brutal interaction with her fiancé and her life changes completely.

Loved the characters, the guys were all written differently and well thought out. The steamy scenes were great fun and the story arc brill. I pretty much read this in one sitting so it was perfect for a steamy little pick me up.

This starts off dark and Holy Cow, did that just really happen and OMG. WHY?????!!!!!
Grabs you fro the start and lets you follow and immerse yourself into Tate's story of healing, rekindling and falling in love. The 3 men in Tate's life are great guys who are amazing friends but even better lovers. (wink).

This was the best contemporary reverse harem that I’ve read in a long time! Tatum is strong and faced with challenges that would cause most people to crumble. Sean, Jay, and Cace are dreamy and even though they could swoop in and save the day they handle the situations by supporting Tate. Loved it.
