Kamachi Kazuma (鎌池和馬) is a Japanese-born light novel author and the original creator of the Toaru Majutsu no Index light novel series and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, its spin-off manga series.
SHIT SHIT SHIT THIS WAS SO FUNNY! I mean, Index's comedy has always been inconsistent, ranging from pretty good to mediocre, and overall decent, but I'm really willing to believe that GT is upping the ante a little bit on this comedic air that a long-running series should have, after all, this is one of the greatest ways to amuse a reader
Talking about the writing, it's still quality, but.... With more perversion in between? Well, I understand that ecchi does have some narrative and slightly deep meaning here, but I feel like Kamachii has crossed the line a bit.. .. No, it's been a long time since those loli twins completely naked (Touma is Alice's or Succubus' dominatrix? Damn Kamachii, you're a hopeless pervert!!!)
Anyway, as a philosophy there is a decent unexpected construction here... Kamachii is a genius writer, this lunatic knows how to create surplus settings and plot twists big and small that have been in your vision all along and you didn't realize. I myself am well above average at predicting plot twists, but it's always nice to see how Index is such a beautiful box of surprises that its only cliche is to criticize these crazy chunny tropics
There are hidden in the flat terrain of human consciousness, certain gaps that are camouflaged by the congruent field... In these gaps, the weeds make their mark by growing for so long, thus being born the root that destroys the terrain, which is perhaps why the prejudice is so ingrained in our beings
These distortions happen all the time, but in this passing life, every man has a way of tending to the plants that destroy the solid ground you have been building while ironically shouting that this is your nature that you have cemented by the urban process. All human beings are prejudiced and those who manage to hide the growth of such plants must really be considered true gardeners of a botanical garden surrounded by the urban dome.
Ignorance generates gaps and violence fills them, thus giving birth to prejudice, the true fear for the understanding of one's neighbor.
The reframing of morals was used here to explain the magic of A CERTAIN WITCH, which ironically reminded me and led me to connect with NT9 with Othinus who dressed very much like a witch and all the philosophy she created, or rather , resignified
Thus, the narrative is configured well in a resignification in the context of the "witch hunt" and about "Bolgona Succubus"... A kind of moral judgment where hypocrisy reigns through lame excuses to commit more violence. A clear courtroom between the prosecutor of justice and the lawyer of crime
Finally, this was a very fun volume and with a good aesthetic quality, but unfortunately it's still not at the level of GT1-GT3! It was a little..... SUS!?
