In this book in the Bear series, Bear is a mail carrier. The book shows children how mail and packages are delivered (though it is a bit different in real life). Through Bear's deliveries all over town, children will also get the chance to meet bears with other jobs, such as a florist, baker, newspaper shopkeeper, stonemason/bricklayer, librarian (pitter patter, my heart!), waitress/waiter, teacher, farmer, and doctor. This would make for a wonderful concept/vocabulary building book for a Spanish and/or bilingual story time setting.

A cute board book that tells a story about Bear working as a postal worker delivering various things to people in the neighborhood. Telling a little about each 'neighbor' at the back of the book has illustrations and asks the child to find the librarian, the baker, policeman, etc.

This is a sweet book that introduces different types of careers while using Anthropomorphism as it's main literary device. I love how the story follows the bear around and his day in the life at work. A very fun and informational story for children to read.
