Zeb Carter has many rules that have been drilled into him throughout his many exploits. Rules he has then drilled into every member of his Team. Rules to ALWAYS be followed. Except this one time, he didn't. After a tough mission in Moscow, the Team heads to Mumbai for a real vacation. To clear their minds, enjoy friends, taste new food and actually make it a real tourist trip! Thinking of absolutely nothing, watching the colorful birds in the blue sky above, Zeb's mind is clear, completely relaxing. Which is his first mistake in a very long time. Someone followed them. And a bomb goes off in Mumbai, a bomb he should have been able to prevent. If he did not break his own rule...
A vacation for Zeb and Team turns tragic, and we see one of the Team lying still, seriously injured. After so many wild incidents together, is This the end?! Some rules must never be broken, now someone is after them, Mumbai is dealing with bombs going off in crowded areas, and death is all around. Scenes you live in, feeling the heat of anger and slight change to the air as a bullet roars by, characters you love, some you hate, a plot that you can not turn away from, this may be the author's best adventure with a beloved Team now missing one of their own. I highly recommend this amazing adventure with a Team I feel like family.

Zeb, along with his team, has landed in Mumbai. What follows is a rollercoaster ride till the end. I enjoyed reading it a lot.
Ty never bores his readers with unnecessary details. So their interest remains unwavering throughout the story.

Zeb Carter thriller book # 10
Zeb’s team needed a well-earned rest after their harrowing mission in Moscow (book #9) clear their mind and regroup in Mumbai to take the sights, enjoy the food and hospitality and leave everything behind....or they thought so....all went haywire when a bomb ripped through a crowded market....
Ouf....action galore from the opening page till you reach the conclusion. I had to put this story down from time to time to take a break from the shooting and fighting. I was exhausted reading Zeb and his team trying to outwit a bunch of bad guys this story does not allow one moment of respite. But again you do not pick up a Ty Patterson’s book not knowing you will be pulled into suspenseful story that will keep you a willing captive.
Rip-roaring pacing, intricate plotting, easy wording and smart characterization, what more can one ask. Ok yes it is a good book but I really got tired with the never ending shooting and killing. The story really if you analyzed it well doesn’t make sense. All the bad guys die and none of the team are killed wow an exception this time one member gets wounded and ends up in hospital...having said this “Mumbai” is a thriller after all and we should expect silly things to happen...we see this on TV...the bad guys don’t know how to hit a target and always gets killed and the good guys standing up to danger never get hit....ok.....
I would suggest being in the mood before tackling this thriller to enjoy it at its max. It is a good story but it was not by far my preferred. Could I suggest that Zeb mellow a bit and change tack.....that would through us a curve...the same old, same old gets boring after so many stories....anyways this is the way I see it.....

Zeb Is Still In The Game
I've missed the last few Zeb Carter books but I got back to them. I'll catch up with the ones I've missed as soon as I can since this book reminded me of how much I enjoy them.
Even going on vacation for Zeb and the team isn't a vacation. They arrive in Mumbai and are thrust into what is both an international terrorist attack and a personal attack on Zeb and everyone associated with him. When you thwart terrorist attacks somebody's gonna take offense. And when a country is neighbors with another that is, quite possibly, your worst enemy, somebody is going to want to escalate tensions between said countries to foment all-out war.
And all that Zeb, the twins, Broker, Roger and Bwana and Chloe and Bear want is just some calm, relaxing and R&R. But guess what? It's not gonna happen!
Just when I thought I had it all figured out, bam! Guess not.

As usual, I loved this book. The action was non-stop and I was reading very fast. My fast reading, unfortunately, made me confused about all the names of the villains, probably because of my aging brain. Despite this problem, I still enjoyed the book. Zeb Carter and the team went to Mumbai for a holiday and encountered very clever, unrecognized villains. They were trying to assassinate Zeb and were also planting bombs in the city and trying to promote war with Pakistan. The team was in imminent danger throughout and the bombs, of course, were causing chaos. Zeb and his team were cooperating with the Indian authorities to stop the danger and eventually managed to do that with lots of their unique skills. This book is a fast-paced, thrilling read and very topical at the moment. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to read an action thriller.

With every book I say--he just can't do it again. Make me believe I'm there, sweating, running, shooting, ducking the enemy, and working with the best equipment to get the bad guys. In every book, he does it again and he certainly did with this one.
Their great India vacation began with someone shooting--at Zeb? Or who? Add a bombing and suddenly they were working with a slue of alphabet agencies to prevent a war.
You'll feel like you are there, fighting for your life and the people exposed to the threats and dangers. Will the team make it out whole? Will they find the culprits? Never a dull moment with this elite team.
Don't miss this new Ty Patterson action thriller.

What was going to be a relaxing vacation for Zeb and the team quickly took a turn no one expected, when the shooting started and the bombs blew. To figure out who and why the team must use past contacts, all their training, and hope for a little luck. When Zeb Carter is involved you know that you're about to embark on a ride that will take you to some interesting places, where you'll meet some interesting people!
I enjoyed getting the bits of Mumbai India history. Loved the humor and connection between Broker, Bwana, Roger, Bear, Chloe, Beth, Meghan, and Zeb.

Mumbai is an edge-of-your-seat thriller
Zeb and members of Team Zeb are taking some time off via a vacation in Mumbai, India. But a vacation is not in store for them this time. Almost immediately, they find themselves near a bomb blast that goes off while they were visiting a market.
Mumbai finds our favorite team members fighting a number of enemies trying to eliminate them as they search for those responsible for what is a series of bombings resulting with multiple attacks on the team.
You can guarantee this book is full of mystery, non-stop action, and gun battles. In other words, it's basically an un-put-downable book that keeps you sitting on your favorite seat while you read!

While assisting the authorities it is discovered that someone is after Zeb and the team. Is it the same ones responsible for the bombing or someone else entirely....

I am very fortunate to receive a ARC copy of this book from the author. I am volunteering to leave this review. Ty Patterson is a very awesome author that can have you on the edge of your seat the entire book. At the end he always does his best to right the wrongs.

Zeb and the gang are on a vacation when they are almost killed by a bomb blast in Mumbai. Vacation over as they gear up to take on the bombers. With help from both India and Pakistan they soon find out there is more going on that just a bomb blast. You don’t to miss this one. Always an amazing cast of characters, non stop action and a superbly written storyline.
