Dean, the author of many #1 New York Times bestsellers, lives in Southern California with his wife, Gerda, their golden retriever, Elsa, and the enduring spirit of their goldens, Trixie and Anna.
A nice surprise. I’ve been a fan of Dean Koontz for a long time but this is the first book that I have read of his which I wouldn’t class as a horror and more in the style of action thriller. No supernatural element or government conspiracy, as far as I know this was the only book in this style that he ever wrote, which is a shame, as I really enjoyed it. I’m Not saying that he shouldn’t write horror, because I love his horror stories, but I like this change of pace. A really fun read
A Dean Koontz book with no super-secret bad guys, no paranormal activity, no unknown people discovering their soulmate, and no dogs. Just people marooned on an iceberg that will blow up in a few hours with a killer among them. Not a bad read. Even though I never figured out who the killer was and why. (I listened to the book while falling asleep and had to relisten to most of it.) Not one of his greats, but not a stinker also.
