My goodness who knew 50ish pages could be SO GOOD! Maeve is trying to do right by her sister and Daegen is trying to do everything right WITH Maeve. I need SO MUCH MORE of these two. Can’t wait for their full story. Amazing work Dana!

Phenomenal
FINALLY a monster romance where the FMC actually grabs his horns while he pleasures her!!!!
Now I fully went into this know it's a novelette and that she plans to continue it! On that note I NEED more! This is phenomenal and I am obsessed I have questions that need answers and more of this horn holding experience!!! Please please please read this!!!!

Short but Amazing!!!!
Dana always gives us what we need in life I love her novellas and she was makes me dream of what could happen when the book ends if you haven’t read the novella you need to!! She brings you into a world that you don’t want to let go.

Can we get an expanded story? It was just a drop and I loved how Daegen thinks he has Maeve but in the end she's like nope, read the terms and conditions apply.

I think, at this point, we all want a giant god/demon with horns and a tail to sweep us off our feet. So, enjoy Daegen until we figure out how to get an actual one.

Maeve is doing a ritual for her sister who seems to be on her last days of life. Maeve gets frustrated that nothing she does and her belief has not made her sister well. She runs into the forest to express her anger, frustration and sadness when a god named Daegen comes out of the water. He has horns, a tail and is completely naked. He answered Maeve’s calling. He tells her she will need to give him something and he will ensure her sister is fine. Maeve agrees and the god takes her virginity. They spend the night in the forest. He tries to retreat with Maeve before first light into the dark but she refuses and he is taken back to the underworld. She rushes home to check on her sister who seems to be perfectly fine and totally recovered like nothing happened.
The spicy factor was a 4/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. I would rate the book a 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️. The novella was too short and I want to know is Maeve pregnant and how will Daegen come see her again?

OMG I adored this story soo much. It's dark, sexy, and leaves you wanting.
In desperation Maeve summons a god to save her dying sister. She sends out a general summons not giving a fk about who responds. Deagan is a dark underworld god and he is more then willing to help Maeve in return for her. Maeve thinks all he wants is her body but nooo, our boy wants ALL of her.
This book is an intro and the full story will drop later this year. It definitely peeked my interest and has me super pumped. I read that it's a spin on Hades and Persephone. I have personally not ready a lot of retellings with those two. But I know their love story is dark, sad, and epic and I've seen lots of authors using them as inspiration.
Fk Prince Charming , give me a Dark God any day.

not really my type of book, but it’s been in my kindle library for forever so i decided to why not give it a shot. it’s a little smutty story with a god and an average girl. the god has a tail and horns, and it was just not for me. the ending was unsatisfactory. maybe it was meant to be like that to make you wish for more, but to me, it was just a bad play on “maybe he’ll come back, maybe he won’t”. plus the reviews on this book talk about plagiarism from the author, and sheesh there are a lot of things online about it. plagiarism isn’t cool, it’s lazy and gross. be original :(

My first Novelette
3.5/5 stars - was a nice quick read as my first novelette! I wasn't sure what to expect with something so short, but was pleasantly surprised to find it read like a few chapters from a full length novel...almost like a movie trailer.
I enjoyed that it didn't try to overexplain or cram too much in. It sounds like this was an older story with the intention of making it a full novel in the future but it looks like it never got picked up to be expanded on. Would love to see a full length version :)

This was such a fast, atmospheric read that I flew through in one sitting. It had just the right mix of desperation, magic, and sensuality. The emotions felt raw—especially Maeve’s fear and grief—and the tension between her and the god she accidentally summons? Deliciously intense.
The paranormal element was seductive and a little dangerous, and I loved the visuals of the forest and water scenes. The riverbank moment? 🔥 Absolutely a standout.
If you’re into morally grey gods, high-stakes magic rituals, and novellas with bite, this is worth checking out.
And if anyone knows whether the hinted-at novel follow-up actually exists—please tell me, because that ending definitely left me wanting more.

El concepto de dioses y demonios me gusto mucho, y el hecho de las historia de los protagonistas si me dejó intrigada.

Star boy
Really fun little one shot. The male character sounds beautiful and covered in constellations. Sounds like eye candy for sure. He claims he's a god but sounds more like a demon to me. Fun story over all. Wish there was more!

I would read Dana’s store list! She knocked it out of the park with this little novelette, it was fantastic but what’s new. Dark/romance, God with horns. Can’t wait for the next book!
