In middle school, she joined the poetry club and competed in several poetry slams, further fueling her lifelong love of storytelling. As a young adult, she became a full-fledged romance book junkie. That obsession eventually led her to dark romance, where she discovered a passion for the darker, more twisted side of love.
Noticing the lack of dark romance novels centered around women of color, and inspired by the many creative authors she admired, Lorrain decided to write the kind of stories she wanted to read. While she plans to explore other romance subgenres, her primary focus remains nontraditional dark romance featuring unapologetically flawed, nonredeemable antiheroes.
Lorrain lives on the East Coast with her handsome son. When she’s not writing or devouring books, she enjoys traveling, experiencing different cultures, shopping at the mall, catching a movie, or discovering new-to-her restaurants. We love a book that makes us blush.
Eve is a lonely teacher who is trying to cope with a breakup. She's not interested in dating again because she wants the whole nine yards. The ring, the kids and the picket fence. But her sexy neighbors are determined to change her mind.
In true Lorrain fashion, the Wilder men are possessive brutes. They are almost unlikable. But you'll end up loving them just because of how they treat their Sweet Peach.
This is on the lighter side for our Trigger Queen but make no mistake ...these are definitely men you maybe want to hate but can't.

SWEET PEACH is a spicy quick read that I enjoyed! I am not a huge fan of reverse harem books but this one worked for me because the chemistry between the feisty yet occasionally shy heroine and the three alphas works. Also, the secondary characters are entertaining. There are also amusing moments to go along with sexiness that makes this story such a fun romp.
Eve moved into her new place in a new town to get away from her old town after being dumped by her ex-fiance. Her next door neighbors are three roughnecks, two brothers and a cousin, that get her pulse racing. I don't want to spoil it so let's just say she's not as strong as she hoped in being a "good girl." Eve leads them on a merry chase yet these three men want to give her the world & aren't shy about it.
I wish the book had actually been longer because I was so entertained by the characters. I totally recommend this story.

I liked the banter Eve had with her friends and even the banter the 3 guys would occasionally share with her. It was over the top so that kept me from enjoying the book fully. Having sex in a pulpit?... hella questionable, but the full-on fucking on a dance floor had me rolling my eyes. Eve also being defiant but immediately folding like a pretzel became annoying.

Lorrain Allen’s newest offering Sweet Peach: A Little Taste of Sin is hot and delicious! Our female main character, Eve, has moved to a small town to escape a particularly painful heartbreak only to encounter three sexy as hell next door neighbors. Her neighbors make it very hard to focus on healing her broken heart because they’re busy making her Sweet Peach get hotter and juicier. This book is not as heavy and dark as Ms. Allen’s previous offerings, but it’s every bit as engaging and gasp-inducing. If I said “Oh sh*t!” once, I probably said it a handful of times. It’s a good thing I was reading in the privacy of my home because I was talking back to my Kindle. Do yourself a favor and let yourself enjoy this sensual story. I’m about to read it again.

Not really much to this one to give a thorough review. Eve is crushing on her three neighbors Beau and Shepard are brothers and their cousin Emmett. They go off for to work for weeks at a time and she's a school teacher. She's out for the summer and they're home for weeks of down time. Eve hooks up with each individually and there's a foursome before they all make a go of forever together. The epilogue includes children. Again, not much to it but Beau's calls of filthy sluts and dirty whores at Eve during were different. No clue what the foursome did in the 30 year gap between the end and the epilogue but maybe buying and selling more property, no mention if Eve retired as a teacher.

I really wanted to love this book. It was a first for me from this author. Now I was enjoying it at first and I thought that spicy scenes were good at first. But overtime as I kept reading some of the lines and wording just weren’t my style. Now that’s not to say don’t read it. I always feel people should give a book a chance. And I did enjoy the playfulness, the determination of the guys wanting her. But I just don’t think the book was for me. It did have some hot scenes for sure if you like spice. Lol but the description of some words I felt turned me off. Geyser referring to Cvm, vûlva, fv€king touch her cervix, just things that I’m just not a fan of being used. Plus a few other things. But again that’s a personal preference, so if you want to read it do it.

This was a quick beautiful read set out to make you blush. Adding reverse harem and a dark smut side was beautiful executed by the author. Beau, Shepherd and Emmett were the men baby, the way they were all about their sweet peach had me panting lol. I can’t express enough how refreshing Eve’s group of friends were. There was no negativity or weird vibes from her friends when she told them the Wilde men were interested in her. All in all, I enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end and I definitely recommend reading this

Eve is broken-hearted from her previous relationship. It feels as though that she’s ready to move on but only in a serious relationship. Her last relationship destroyed her heart.
She knows exactly what she wants or she think she does. Eva is a bit of a voyeur and loves spying on her neighbors.
Will her obsession with them or expand her interests and help her to find a new love?
Reading this book I definitely didn’t feel ashamed or guilty, but I did feel naughty. The book is sinfully delightful.

This was wild! When I read that the three men were related, I was ready to toss my kindle into the fire because incest is where my depraved mind draws a line. Why did she have to make them related? What did I read? There were so much unexpected bodily fluids involved other than the regular kind. I had a good laugh with this book; I should have recorded my face reading it. I thought I read some nasty shit but this was something else. Anyway, let's see what else this author has to offer. I'm in my smut era.

This delicious little gem is a sweet and steamy quick read that will have you scrolling as fast as you can with one hand all while fanning yourself with the other. Let me just say, we all need next door neighbors like these. I loved the banter and the struggle between all the characters. Eve puts up a strong resistance but the boys eventually beat down her defenses and I loved every second of it. This author never fails to bring the sizzle and this is another great story that really delivers.

Oh my gosh, I love this. Eve has a great job and is now single after being unceremoniously dumped by her boyfriend of 7 years, Calvin little does she know there are 3 hunks ready to fulfill all her fantasies and more. Let me tell this book is steam as I'll get out. Beau, Emmet, and Shepherd are yummy and more. I am so happy I was given a chance to read this story of letting go and finding everlasting happiness in the unconventional.

I’m not going to lie this novella had me cracking up 😂😂😂, Eve aka Sweet Peach was living her best life once she let her walls down and start trusting the Wilders. It is taboo how others may frown upon this but actually this a thing right now.. This is refreshing and different from Ms. Allen other work but I love it and welcome it, well done Ms. Allen can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us!!!!! Ms. Allen has written a why choose, fast burn, quick and smutty read that will have you praying your new neighbors are like the Wilders.

This was a funny quick read. You know how you read some books and they get your motor going? I would say that this isn’t one of them. Sole for the reasons that I was gasping in disbelief and laughing my butt off are the antics of these toxic men. A pleasurable short story to pass the time, and I would read more from this author.

Quick read insta love and lust with 3 possessive and sexy neighbors. A few scenes were a wee bit over the top, but a nice palate cleanser after reading so many dark romances. Chuckled a few times when the FMC interacted with her friends. Cute epilogue.
