An interesting exploration of women and politics - part memoir, part sociological analysis - for the first 40 or so pages.
Followed up by a detailed and informative ‘How to Guide’ on the nuts and bolts of actually running a campaign.
Lots of great takeaways from her personal experience… especially the last bit - the 20 Questions to Ask Yourself If You Are Thinking of Running for Elected Office.
If you are seriously toying with a political run, this is a must read text. And if you want to know why, as a woman, you find the world of politics so alienating, this is a must read text.
