I really enjoyed the Ganton Hills series. I'm glad I gave it a second chance. I just hate we have so many unanswered questions. Is Sarahn secretly pregnant?!!! Is Nyne really gon' stand trial for murder?!!! Are they gon' take out Mayor Slayton's lazy azz?!!! And, when TF is somebody gon' finally put Detective Waters' lights out?!!! When I tell y'all I am TIRED of this dude! I cannot wait for the next installment. I'm ready for this mayoral race. It's about to go down in The Hills.

Wow. Ganton Hills is 🤯🤯🤯

Sometimes I let books sit for a while despite me dying to read them. I look at them daily and just wait because once I've read it the story isn't new anymore.

This latest installment of Ganton Hills, Book 13 The Trenches: Loyalty over Everything, was one of those books. I wanted to read it the minute I downloaded it but I let it sit trying to savor the feeling.

The Ganton Hills books are like the soaps was for your Grammy. These books are like a story flashing across my eyes, so well written that I can see the scenes plain as day in my mind's eye.

Sarahn and Nyne were so visceral, I could smell them. Jenna and Yayo were so magnetic, I could feel them. Catching up with other storylines like that dirty prick Waters. Man!!! Aubree Pynn just got my mind on lock with these books.

My Grammy had it easy cause soaps came on everyday, waiting to get back to Ganton Hills is a sweet torture 😩🙃 5⭐s Highly Recommend that you visit Ganton Hills. You won't regret it!!!

Aubree Pynn has a great skill of writing "to be continued" stories that leave me "full for now" and satisfied til the next time!!!🔥🔥🔥

AP! You just keep doing the damn thang ma'am! I can kick my own ass for sleeping on this one for so long! 😂 It was that good y'all! Ganton Hills was already lit, but this one just made it legendary! Poor Sarahn! She had been to hell and back, with her "father" who cared more about his congregation, and reputation that his daughter! Then the people he so called entrusted to take care of her, were just as bad, leaving her angry, traumatized and damaged! Nyne knew that Sarahn was too good for him. So he let her go, believing he was saving her; while ruining them both! Nyne bumping into Sarahn years later, seeing the condition she was in, and who she was in the company of, kicked him into high gear!
Nah, she is going to be mine again! These two were magic together! Nyne was the reaper, but was putty in Sarahn's hands! Sarahn was timid and meek when she reunited with Nyne. But, the way he loved her, gave her strength and encouragement making her a boss! Maaannnnn...... the snakes were out in full force! There was so much going on, and I couldn't believe some of the things that went down! Just why can't we get rid of Waters once and for all? With all the bodies that dropped in this one, he couldn't have gotten hit by a stray bullet to the temple? Really???? Ughhh....... So glad that Yayo and Jenna got it together, and would love more of their story! NOW, this upcoming election with Cree, and the war brewing has me feeling a way! Cannot wait to see what Ganton Hills has for us next! Great job! 👍👍👍

I want a Nyne🥰😜🤤🔫!!!

I am speechless!!!! This book 📕 read like a movie 🎥!!! It was packed with action, suspense and a lot of nasty seggs💦😜🔥!!

Ms. Pynn really outdid herself with this one. Nyne and Sarahn were definitely made for each other. He was bae all day and brought down a wrath over his ❤️ love. Tre, Troy, Waters, the Pastor and his parents were all trash 🗑 and got exactly what they deserved🔫.

I am glad Yayo and Jenna got it together👏🏽👏🏽!!! Definitely a lot of love in the trenches!! Can’t wait to see how the Hills and Lavendale collide, or maybe they won’t 🤷🏽‍♀️!!!???

Bring me the Nyne

I love stories that keep me on the edge of my seat. Combine it with goings-on of Ganton Hills and I am there! Enter another book bae of Ganton Hills, Nyne....oooh weeee...talk about boss gangsta BDE...all of the above. My heart ached for Sarahn and glad healing came to her after suffering so many traumatic events. I was glad that she didn't shut out the love of her life as she healed plus Nyne wasn't having it. One question....Waters....why??? Looking forward to the next Ganton Hills installment.

Wow! Just wow!

I feel like I've been waiting for this story for so long and it was so worth the wait. The excitement, the danger, the snakes, the allegiances, the love, the devotion, just everything!
I'm so looking forward to what's next in GH. It's always gonna be them against everybody.
Wonderful story! So many twists and turns and I didn't see most of it coming.

I loved it even though it is a urban book and can be predictable I love the authors writing style and the plot flowed. I need me a man like Nyne loving me like the world revolve around me. Now I wanna read the books before hoping that it is the same. All of the men in Sarahn life have failed her and I’m glad she took her power back. I want more of Jenna and Yayo.

One thing author Aubree Pynn will do is make me fall in love with a gangsta. First Rasheed, then Huncho but Nyne!?! Nyne showed no mercy!! Bodies were dropping like flies in the Hills. And the way he loved and protected Sarahn, whew what a man! I CAN NOT wait to keep reading!

Despite being book number 13 in the series, Trenches was a good standalone style read that allows you to enjoy the story without reading previous books. After being introduced to Ganton Hills, I’m intrigued and will definitely go back to read the others. Nyne is that dude!!!! Soft on those that he loves but the REALEST in the streets! When I tell you anybody could get it, ANY and EVERYBODY got it! Trenches was so good and left me wanting more! The story had the perfect mix of danger, suspense, betrayal, love and spice. Nyne and Sarahn were two broken individuals dealing with their fair share of trauma. After he chose the streets over her years ago, a twist of fate causes their paths to cross and the rekindle of energy is just as potent. Their raw passion for each other oozed from the pages. Action packed from beginning to end!

Trenches (Ganton Hills #13) by Aubreé Pynn is about Nyne Copeland and Sarahn McBride. Okay so y’all know I ranted and raved about this series in my yearly wrap up and Aubree Pynn did not disappoint with this newest addition. Let me tell y’all Ms. Pynn is penning!!! Sarahn is in an abusive relationship with no way out when fate intervenes and she’s placed back in the vicinity of her first and only love Nyne. Nyne thought the pastor’s daughter was too good for his street life when he left her. This time he won’t make the same mistake, he’s pulling up on her at every opportunity. Her “man” is his enemy but that doesn’t move Nyne. This man has dealt with so much loss, death and grief but he wears his heart on his sleeve for Sarahn. Nyne is the epitome of a compassionate gangsta, he has that BDE 🤤 Ooh that man know he fine! Nyne aka Tech aka Reaper is quick with the trigger and he make sure his girl is strapped! We love a protective King! Nyne and Sarahn are dealing with so much but it’s interesting to see that this gangsta was open and vulnerable with his woman. Sarahn and Nyne have history, chemistry 🥵 and love! They really go through the trenches together.
There’s a secondary love story with Yayo and Jenna that’s beautiful and full yet it doesn’t overpower the primary love story it compliments it. Davyne is the sweetest little thing!! Yayo is so protective, he doesn’t play about Jenna and Davyne. Love the strong silent type that’s not afraid to get busy!! 🤤This series just gets better and better. The way the stories are weaved together and how everything connect. The details are all intricate and plotted out so meticulously. She got me in a chokehold her vivid storytelling!
Characters are fully fleshed out, I did not want to put this book down!!
I’m ready for what’s next!!

If you haven’t read “ The Trenches” as yet, stop what you’re doing and treat yourself. this book is a masterpiece and definitely needs to be a movie. Life hasn’t always been a walk in the park for Sarahn, but things are starting to look a little brighter when she is reunited with the only man she’s ever loved, Nyne. Let’s just say that they love is still there and this couple is willing to fight for their second chance.

Sarahn and Nyne together are literally magic. Even with their rocky past, you could see that the love and respect is still there. I loved how Nyne is a killer in the streets but when it comes to his woman, he doesn’t hesitate to show his vulnerability. What I love the most is that Nyne isn’t afraid to unalive people if it means protecting his family and legacy. I wasn’t supposed to find that sexy, but baby I swooned. This book is INTENSE! It is full of mystery, action and suspense from the minute you start reading. It will captivate you to the point of no return so be prepared to finish this book in one sitting. I am in love with this fictional world and “compassionate gangsta’s” that Aubree continues to create. Every time she adds another addition I feel like I fall in love all over again. The best thing about this book is that you don’t even have to start from book 1 but I promise after reading , you definitely will. Pick this book up, get your life and thank me later.

Wooooooooooooow

This book was so heavy and raw with emotions. It has strong character development and emotional depth. It is a testament of bravery and it explores themes of love, loss and resilience in the face the of adversity. Everything about this story was riveting. Nyne is for sure one of my favorites. How they fought for each other constantly was so beautiful. The themes of empowerment and resilience were incredibly inspiring and motivating in this book. It provided a sense of hope, and encouragement, even in the face of difficult circumstances. These themes created a strong emotional connection to me, and the characters I found myself a routine for these characters, and says invested in their journey as they struggled to overcome obstacles and find their sense of empowerment. Overall these themes added depth and resonance to The Trenches and helped created a powerful emotional connection with me. This book was everything. Aubree never ceases to amaze me. Another thing I loved were the supporting characters. The children is this book were so amazing and I love that we were given a glimpse of Yaamen and Jenna’s happy ending I love them. This book is easily five stars and one of the best books I have ever read in my entire life. Kudos to you Aubree you’ve done it again.

Sarahn - life for her ain’t been no crystal stair! It’s been rough since go. The men in her life who should love and protect her have withheld those very things from her. They used her and wanted to control her, keep her meek and bound.

Nyne - he came up in the game. He was known to embody his name. You don’t want the reaper to pull his trigger. He’s done too much, knows too much and seen too much for him to escape the life.
His only peace and heart was wrapped in this woman who he let go of.

This book was intense! Bodies dropping, no remorse. Snakes crawling, gotta chop of their heads. Rats running and hiding so you gotta smoke them out. Unrequited love, 2nd chance love, and family love.

The trenches are vicious - you climb out of one just to fall into another. What counts is who you’re going in and out the trenches with. Loyalty over everything thing.

The 13th installment of the Ganton Hills series is the story of Nyne Copeland and Sarahn McBride. The streets were the reason he lost her her one time, and Nyne is determined not to make the same mistake again. But first, he has some old scores to settle and there will be bloodshed everywhere.

Sarahn has a lot of trauma from the past, that is holding her in a choke hold. Luckily, she has a man in her corner that is willing to risk it all for her.

The breakout couple is Jenna and Yayo, for me. I cannot wait to see where their relationship goes from here. Especially if Davyne has anything to say about it.

I thought that I had encountered @aubreepynn best read in Five Whole Summers (found exclusively on the Book Lovers App), until now. This 💎💎💎💎💎 book will definitely be seen again on my "Best of 2022" list.

This is made for TV...

Sarahn has been through it and when the one who really loved her left, she never thought she would see him again. Nyne has loved Sarahn from the beginning and when she showed back up in his life, he knew he couldn't let her go again. Nyne was the strength that Sarahn needed to become the women every one doubted her to be. Sarahn was Nyne peace he needed when his world became to much. When Nyne sets out to pay everyone back who wronged him, the blood bath that ensued was necessary. Sarahn and Nyne love grew stronger, but Sarahn was finally able to live in peace. This book was so good. From the time I started reading, until the end, I was for everything that happened in this book. I was cheering when everybody got what they deserved. Aubree just showed me that when she has a pen in hand, she can do it all. I felt like I was reading Power and BMF!!

If it's one thing AP is gonna do is write an Alpha male that keeps you swooning as he navigates through the words and pages of a novel. Nyne Copepland is everything Alpha from his head to his feet. He's the perfect mix of gangsta and gentleman with Sarahn and those he loves all the while carrying the mantle of protector and executioner simultaneously. The Trenches definitely bred a thorough one who makes it his mission to balance out the scales of right and wrong. In the midst of the streets and gunplay, the love story that shines through is golden. Nyne and Sarahn's story is one of redemption, second chance love and making sure when the odds seemingly are against them, that when it's them versus everybody else there's nothing that can rise against them. This book is definitely in my Top 5 for the year, it's a top tier read with characters that catch you and don't let go.

In all fairness, I’m pretty sure I would have rated this story differently, if I had read it prior to the book before this one. However, having just read a phenomenal book- this story paled in comparison.

This felt all over the place, the ending was anticlimactic. And at some point I stopped caring about the main characters and wanted more in regards to Jenna and Yayo. But even that was left in a meh state. Nothing romantic or steamy- just an agreement.

I don’t know- for me it felt like an incomplete story. And maybe that’s because the series will continue. Idk. I just know this was not good for me.

This was sooooo Good ! I had been waiting for this book to drop since Aubree made the announcement it was coming. This was one of my favorite reads of the year thus far! Because Aubree did such an amazing job painting the picture with her words , I went through a lot of different emotions reading this book . Nyne and yayo I love them both!! Nyne and Sarahn’s love story was beautiful, Looking forward to Aubree next works . Hopefully we’ll get a little more of Yayo and Jenna? Amazing read for sure !

Joy and Pain

It’s NEVER a dull moment in Ganton Hills. I tried to read this so slow so it wouldn’t end but all good things must end. So much to love from the alpha males to the ride or die chicks. My favorite part is the conversations between Nyne and Sarahn. The dialogue in this one gave me some great quotes to put on my motivation wall when I need a reminder to be that chick or that it’s men that can rule and love. The joys and the pain of this book really help you to understand loyalty over everything.

You all... Every time I visit Ganton Hills, something always happens. And this time was much the same. Nyne was always about taking care of his loved ones. Folks kept coming after him and his family. Sarahn was the one he let get away, and he would never let that happen twice. The drama was enormous in this version. The trusted ones were few, and the snakes slithered rampant in this tale. The love story portion was enough to balance the ugly. I hope Nyne and Sarahn get a short what's happening now follow up. Just a few pages will do, with a new lil boo. Overall, I enjoyed this gangster story.

Digging deep!!!!

This Ganton Hills series does not disappoint. I was so excited for a novel and it was action packed! The inter workings of these Ganton Hills streets are grimy! Street rules show no mercy because it's always someone close behind the fall. Nyne did not take his tag lightly...trigger finger stayed curled up...ESPECIALLY if you crossed him. Walking away from his heart didn't save her like he thought life without him would.

How did Sarahn get here? The drama and trauma of her life paved the way to some major character development.

Righting your wrong is not an option in the streets...unless your name is Nyne.

Good read, hot in the streets and the sheets.

The Trenches ain’t for the faint at heart!

Wow I can truly say I wasn’t ready and I am in straight go mode now! Nyne is that dude and Yayo is the side treat to every girls hood fantasy 😍😜. When I say sex, string men,and the women they love I have only cracked the surface of this series installment ❤️. Ms. Pynn got me out her talking to myself, laughing at these characters, and praying that the women in their lives received their well deserved gems in this lifetime ❤️. Great story !

Listen ! Uncle Techy is everything….I mean everything. I loved him and Sarayn together. She loved him just as much as he loved her. As a reader, I can feel the love. This not one of them books where the author writes about two ppl in love and the reader is stuck wondering how? Nope! You have all the details, they catered to each other. Omg amazing. They were each others anchor, they didn’t let each other fall into negativity. Nyne did not play about his baby. We learned she did not play about him either!

Favourite Ganton Hills Yet

When I tell you I love me some Nyne. I love all the Ganton men but Tech Nyne is it for me. If you're not protecting me like him I don't want it. So I got the same Water issue from all the other books but I loved this story and most of the characters. AP went on a spree 😄 in this book but I loved it and can't wait for the next one. Definitely add this to your collection along with the rest of Ganton Hills.

Whew! What can I say about this book other than it was amazing. The perfect blend of a love story mixed with gang life. Nyne and Sarahn comepleted each other. They were each other’s strength when the other felt weak or needed to be weak. They went through a lot together and helped each other fight their demons. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

Now this was a Urban Novel!!! Nyne and Yayo was about that gang life! This showed the true consequences of turning on the gang. Loved the romance aspect as well, Nyne and Sarahn was each others strength and weakness. I wish we got more of Yayo and Jenna. I also was happy for Nyne path of redemption. Great book! This one right here was so dope. I knew you said there would be deaths but damn. Nyne is stone cold but such a lover and all about family over everything. I just know Sarahn is gonna be a boss and ride right bezide her king. I'm so happy Jenna finally let Yayo in. It's getting real in the Hills, can't wait to see Cree do his thing with Nyne and the boys by his side. I hope we don't have to wait to long!!
