Hero Daddies #1

Saving Dylan

Rate this book
When a Little needs saving, it might just take a Hero Daddy to do it…

Dylan is dreaming of the bright lights of Broadway, but right now his acting career is at rock bottom. It was only meant to be a temporary thing, but Dylan is currently a cam performer dealing with one sleazy customer after the other.

Dylan’s past means he finds it hard to trust people. He may be super-cute and full of love, but Dylan doesn’t have the one thing he craves – a Daddy to share his life with.

Suddenly Dylan finds himself being stalked by a creepy online super-fan. Events escalate and Dylan doesn’t feel safe, but he has to keep on camming to pay the rent.

It’s time to find a Hero.

Flint Maddox, a gruff man-mountain and New York City detective, works Dylan’s stalker case. Flint’s Daddy Dom senses go into overdrive. He can’t get over how attracted he is to Dylan. But he must keep things professional. At least at first.

Flint has always thought he was too cynical and haunted by his own past to be in a DDlb relationship. But could Dylan be the Little to unlock Flint and allow him to love life again?

This is an MM Age Play romance featuring consenting adults who are perfect for each other. It includes spanking, suspense, sweetness, and a full-blooded Happy Ever After. Enjoy!

A Hero Daddies book that can be enjoyed as a standalone with no cliffhanger.

Dylan is a Little who has a dream of becoming an actor on Broadway. So far he hasn't had much luck and is forced to make a living as a cam boy. One evening he receives an envelope with a picture of him mostly undressed on his bed. The problem is he never posed for the picture so someone is spying on him. Dylan goes to the police station to make a report. He meets Officer Flint who seems very caring and protective. The problem is there is nothing the police can do yet. Flint is concerned and invites Dylan to stay with him. Dylan is cautious at first but after another incident, he is ready to stay with Flint.

Flint is a dedicated police officer but his feelings have changed some since he lost his partner on duty. His outlook has changed to distrust and bitterness. Flint is a Daddy dom but he refuses to claim a Little. He is so dedicated to his job that he feels he has no time to take care of his Little they way he should. Then one day, he sees a gorgeous and innocent man at the police station looking for help. When he hears that someone has invaded Dylan's privacy, Flint is ready to protect Dylan. Maybe Dylan can teach Flint that he can have a Little of his own and still work. .

I loved the book the story was great, the story was written well and the characters were intriguing. Dylan is a Little without a Daddy he is scared when an incident happened he went to the police station scared and emotional he struggled to talk. Flint is a Detective and a Daddy without a Little he noticed Dylan standing at the counter so he went to talk to him, he noticed Dylan was having trouble talking so he led him to a private room but nothing could be done about it. After Flint finished work he checked out where Dylan lives but Dylan said he will stay where he is that he will be alright or will he. So Much emotions throughout this story, kidnapping, spankings, pain, passion, discipline, protection, trust and many more. .

If a fun and hot with a bit of angst daddy dom and little dynamic is your jam, this is your book. Zack is a new(ish) author who starts their Hero daddies series with Flint and Dylan as the mc's. They meet in the the police station when Dylan wants to report a stalking but Flint can't do anything at that time. After events go further wrong for Dylan, Flint steps up and invites him to his home. Dylan does way better with a daddy who cares and Flint is indeed a hero daddy as things go south.
This book has a hfn/ hea and I am looking forward to meet these characters again in the upcoming books in the series.

We all know irl events could never go this way, but I immersed myself in this book and enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed the power dynamic between Flint and Dylan in his little space.

Dylan is over his head in danger from a stalker and finds a hero in Detective Flint who happens to be a Daddy Dom. If you love littles and rescuing Daddies with a bit of danger that draws them together Then I recommend Saving Dylan and look forward to where the author goes with this series. This seems rather new and I feel the author will grow into their voice as they go along, but overall this is an excellent start.

This is a new to me author. I'll definitely be looking out for more of their work! Dylan is a little and cam boy that has a stalker of sorts. He goes to the police and meets Flint. Flint is concerned and invites him to stay with him. Flint is a Dom Daddy and refuses to take on a little. When he meets Dylan, he decides he wants to help. I loved this story sooo much!! It was a fun story to read! Overall, loved it. It was well written, and flowed nicely.

Outstanding! Dylan, has unmet expectations of working on Broadway. The closest he's gotten is working as a cam boy. He is popular and has several fans, many creepy. One, is more enthusiastic and decides to try to get personal. Dylan, lived a simple life, incurring debt way beyond his means. He lacked personal discipline. He had a few challenges in his life, low pay, inability to meet financial obligations, opportunistic landlord and the latest, a stalker with pictures. Dylan was terrified. He turned to teh police for protection. Flint, police detective was fit! He was also bordering on cynical because he was not getting the street time he craved. The three Amigos, Flint, Luther and Jackson were fun. Flint, took an interest in Dylan's case and decided to try to keep him safe. The course of their relationship, was fun. Is Flint a Daddy? Do they have any kinks in common? Does Flint catch the stalker? Can Dylan trust Flint? Good story. Great characters. Good conflicts. Lots of surprises, some good others, not so good. I hope to read more stories about Jackson and Luther. Well done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Saving Dylan is the story of Dylan and Flint and their sweet, steamy journey to becoming a Forever Couple. This has the tropes of DDlb, Instalove, and of course the HEA. There were some moments of true drama in this book and the requisite dollops of Little and Daddy fun and steam too! I'm new to Zack Wish but this is a great start. This is the first in a new series and I'm going to be reading them all.

This book was brilliant. I loved the fast pace and punchy writing style. The sentences were snappy and clear and full of life which meant the book simply flew by. It had some nice heat! But a whole lot of warmth and this was shown by the relationship between the two lead characters. I will be back for the next book in the series that is for sure.

Dylan and Flint

This was a wonderful adventure. I enjoyed the Characters and the storyline. This has some interesting moments and a few twists but in the end the boy gets his daddy. I am excited to see what happens next.

This was a very good book. Not my usual read but I enjoyed the storyline and the Characters. Dylan was a little trying to make a living in an adult world. He was trying to make a living as a cam boy. He hated that job but as of yet didn't find anything on Broadway. Someone starts to stalk him so he goes to the police department to report it. He meets Detective Flint Maddox. Flint is a Daddy Dom without a little to take care of. When he meets Dylan he knows that he's a little. Flint and Dylan have an instant connection with Flint keeping track of Dylan. Flint asks him to move in with him and at first Dylan refuses but after another stalking message. When Flint comes again Dylan moves in with him. I loved how they took everything slow and got to know each other. There was some action, kidnapping, stalker, respect, DDLB, and steam. The steam was done very tactfully. First book I've read from this author and I enjoyed it.

5* A superb DDlb read. Saving Dylan is the best Daddy/Little story I have read in a while. It's part of a new series and one I will definitely be sticking with. Saving Dylan is full of humour, action, and wholesome punishments and steam too. I can't wait to read more. I received a free copy via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Saving Dylan is the first book in a new daddy/little series. This book follows the story of Dylan and Flint. The book is sweet and emotional and was a really good read. I fell in love with Dylan and the daddy/little kink is well written and a good read. Overall very enjoyable and can't wait for the rest of the Hero Daddies' stories.

This is a hard 5* for me. I loved the pacing and sweetness of this so much. Don't get me started on the heat between Flint and his boy Dylan! It definitely worked for me. Dylan was a wonderful Little too, he had so much going for him and the way it was all brought together just worked so well. I received a free ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I thought Saving Dylan by Zach Wish was okay. It's the first book in the Hero Daddies series. I thought the story had the potential to be great, but Flint did some things that didn't add up to what a Daddy or policeman would do. I liked the chemistry between Dylan and Flint and that Dylan found something that works better for him than being a cam boy.

Daddy/Little

This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. Cam boy Dylan is a little who works from home and is being stalked but Daddy Flint meets Dylan at the police station he works at and instantly feels a connection to Dylan. This book moves at a fast pace and I can't wait to read the side characters books. There were typos but I still enjoyed it and recommend this to those who love Daddy's and their littles.

This is the first story in the Hero Daddies series. Dylan and Flint were perfectly matched from the start but had to battle adversity. The steam was perfect and the plot kept me reading all the way. I'm new to this niche but will be sticking around as this story captivated me from start right through to the finish.

Dylan is a perfect Little and Flint is the kind of Daddy anyone would take a punishment from. There was some good drama and action in this too. A new author but one I will be reading a lot more from and I can't wait for the Hero Daddies series to continue. I received a free ARC copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book was adorable with a capital A. I read the fourth book in the series on an ARC and had to go back and check it out from the beginning. This was so much fun and full of everything I like to see. Punishments aplenty, sassy Littles, gruff Daddy Doms. Dylan was a dream and Flint was just a dreamy Daddy from head to toe! Everything about Saving Dylan just did it for me. Now onto book 2...

I really wanted to love this book, I am all for Daddy/littles/ageplay. But within the first small bit there were so many grammatical errors and the wrong name used, whoever was in charge of checking all that needs to be fired.
The writing was also weird, when Flint first saw Dylan he was all like I'll take care of everything and then 2 seconds later was like hurry it up kid I'm busy. One, weird cause he had no idea why Dylan was there in the first place and two, complete switch in attitude.
And when Dylan was getting interviewed he started to try to talk about the photo but got nervous and told Flint about being a cam boy and doing naughty stuff, then it skipped to "once he told Flint everything, he felt so much better" um....only thing left to tell was about the photo..... so what is this "everything".
And don't get me started on how ripped and the perfect manly physique Flint had without even working out anymore. Like it was now a natural permanent state his body was in...girl, please.
And where was the connection between the 2 MC's? I didn't feel any type of heat between them.
And while I think it's cute when MC's love to read, don't say that's the only way he can truly relax. Hello! He's a little, escaping into little space, coloring, putting on his shows with his stuffies, so many ways a little can relax.
Plot seemed good, execution was a hard fail.

Dylan was a cute Little and it clearly showed through the writing. Flint was a dominant man and a Daddy. There was instant attraction and things moved quickly after that, there was some danger, personal growth, adult time, then HEA.
The main characters were fully developed and had clear roles. The storyline had some inconsistencies and while it had a decent amount of information, some aspects lacked clear details or descriptions. The ARC had a lot of editing and proofreading errors, making it feel like a first draft. I believe these issues will be fixed in the final draft. .

I loved the dynamics between the DD and Little in Saving Dylan. Even though I knew there would be a HEA I still majorly enjoyed the journey that these two went on. The steam was great and the drama was just about right even when it got a bit more intense toward the end. Can't wait to read more from this author. And read more about this group of friends too!

Cute and interesting

I love a good mystery and romance all in one. The author gets that. If you love a Stuggling Daddy Dom and a sweet, loving Little then you will enjoy this story with a mix of mystery. What will happen? You will just have to find out!

I tried. I really tried. I wanted to like this book. it ticked all my boxes. but the need for an editor was so bad. spelling mistakes. grammar mistakes. choppy writing. jumping around the place. who's POV was changing constantly. everything was telling not showing.
it read like a first draft. the idea was there and good and I so wanted to finish . I can finish most stuff. but this just got too painful to read any more. A very disappointing dnf

weird formatting/editing

I’ll be honest, this reads like a rough draft. There are multiple typos, way too many paragraphs, and the author used ‘ instead of “ around dialogue. It was pretty jarring to read. I liked the premise, I just think this needs more time spent on the actual writing and to be fleshed out a little more.

I found a lot of grammatical errors, especially the wrong name being used...it kinda drove me batty.
The story was ok, there were some issues I had with the way Flint would punish Dylan for getting a hard on... like that's really controllable?
The concept of the Hero Daddies is great, a detective, firefighter and a ER trauma doctor.
I know authors put a lot of work into their books so I hope this author gets a better editor and beta readers...it would help make the story so much better.

What did I just read?

I'm sorry, I cannot fathom where all the 4 and 5 start reviews came from. The concept was great, but the writing was absolutely awful! It was juvenile, filled with grammatical errors, and completely unbelievable. Who would even just come out and ask another person if they're a Little? And while there's a whole crew of cops wondering around no less? At first I was determined to push thru just so I could find out who was stalking Dylan, but I was only able to make to 28% before I just couldn't stomach anymore. This author clearly needs to take some writing classes and work on his skills because this was just horrible.
