R.M. Demeester, from Saskatchewan, loves being a mom, reading books, and writing. She's been writing since she was very young. Today, she's known for her stories in women's fiction, romantic suspense, and thrillers.
After Gia, Book III in the After Dusk series, by R M Demeester is a quick read with lots of action. Gia is a high end escort. She falls for the bodyguard of her sugar daddy and all hell breaks loose. They are on the run. I liked Gia, even though I would have no desire to live her lifestyle, I love her spunk. Her desire to play by her own rules. But, Alex, he comes across as weak. I didn’t care for him at all. With their lives in danger, can they have a happy ever after?
Gia enjoys her role as an escort for affluent clientele. There are no boundaries in her lifestyle; she delights in partying through the night, cherishes her time with men, and is free from financial worries. Indeed, she revels in this existence until she crosses paths with Alex, a bodyguard for Ricky, one of her clients. Gia's world may be on the verge of transformation as she finds herself falling deeply for Alex.
However, it becomes apparent that Ricky may not be the person he claims to be. He could be involved in some rather perilous dealings. It seems he is about to pull Gia into this dangerous world when he invites her to accompany him to a party to entertain his client’s wife. Who is Ricky, and what type of business is he engaged in? Is he about to lead Gia down a treacherous path?
After Gia is an excellent continuation in the After Dark Series, and I eagerly anticipate more. After Gia is an incredibly exciting and captivating narrative that kept me engrossed from start to finish.

She is also caring and very loving. The book deals with highly sensitive and emotionally difficult matters. Onto the next Book in the series After Alex, I get a sneak peek.

I enjoyed this short story. Gia is a highly paid escort who enjoys her life, until she meets bodyguard, Alex. Can she change for Alex or is it too late? Alex only became a bodyguard to pay his daughter's medical bills. When he and Gia fall in love, danger follows them. I loved the characters and the suspense. I would recommend it. I enjoyed the first two books in the After Dusk series. I like the fact that this was a short story. It’s action packed. Gina’s character is well fleshed out character. I’m not sure what I think of Alex.
Thanks to R.M. Demeester.

After Gia is a fast paced thiller, that takes Gia from her club to trip that she never expected. This is part of a series but you can definitely read it as a stand alone. It's not an overly long read but one you can relax with for a couple hours.
This was my favorite book in the series so far. I really enjoyed the plot. I did not want to stop reading because I wanted to know what was gonna happen. Gia had such great growth as a character because of Alex. These two were perfect for each other. I really enjoyed this story.
A very complex web of deceit finds Gia and Alex up to their necks in trouble. Some nicely twisted truths emerge as their relationship develops. Who do you trust, for Gia that's no one but that might change. A captivating suspense well recommended.
I loved the intensity of this story. the suspense and danger. this really pulls you in to Gia and Alex's lives. compliments of Ricky and his shady dealings. but the way her and Alex connected was great. this was an edge of the seat really great story.
