What's the deal with the title of the book? It dont even make sense with the story.
She could have simply called it--A Second Chance or some cliched Hallmark Movie title.
This book was really good y'all. When I say that you cannot hate a Jaycee book, I MEAN IT.
You can look at all the JW books on my shelf, I starred them all 5 stars. I LOVE HER!!!

❎Dual virgins.
❎CUTE love story. Its like one of those ....sweet kid love story types where they love each other since they were five. Dont know how to describe it but its SO cute and sweet. (They give each other rings when they're 12😭)
❎No-cheating.
❎Separation of 6 years --BOTH celibate.
❎He was under the impression that she must have moved on, and she thought the same about him--Both are wrong. Actually his mother was a bit anxious and told the h that he had a gf when in reality he didnt. Its alright though, in the end she apologises profusely.
❎Low on the smut-- Only 2 intimate scenes.😧
❎HEA- Epilogue-5 years and 20 years later.

Emotional & hot
I just love a J.W. story!!! She is amazing at creating so many different story lines and still makes sure her H & h are each other's one and only❤️ Pierce and Milly are soulmates, meant to be from age 6. Sadly things got in the way and a bitter cruel mother tore them apart. I'm so happy they found each other again and all worked out amazing. I'm glad the separation wasn't when they were much older, so that they didn't miss out on years of adult life together. Pierce was special, he definitely had plenty of options to stray, but his love was strong. I would say he's quite forgiving also, his mother was given a lot more grace than I would've given, especially so soon and the fact that she was only sorry she got caught. A bit of suffering and amends making would've been appropriate. This is a must read! Sweet & steamy hea💞

Not my favorite RMR listen, and the narration didn't help either. I'm not a fan of the recent change where all of the books are narrated by a single person even though there are dual POVs in the book, because they inevitably don't do a great job with the opposite gender. And the same is true here, I didn't like one of the voices, but this is the first time where it was the female parts that I didn't like by the female narrator. It wasn't that her voice was bad, but it was really overacted. The guy parts were done better in my opinion. Part of that could have been due to the way the character was written, the heroine was very much portrayed as a weak victim, so it was pretty unlikely that I would have ever liked her, no matter how she was voiced and who did the narration.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Ring your neck is the first book in the ‘’final inning’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Pierce and Milly were best friends from the ages of six until sixteen. They were heartbroken when they were separated. Years later will they reconnect and let love have a chance?
The chemistry between Pierce and Milly is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

Completely safe. No ow/om drama. H does go out to a club with his teammates where he has women trying to hang all over him. He turns down all their advances because he only wants the h.
Both are virgins.
H’s mom lied to h when she called after they moved. She told h that he was out with his girlfriend. h was devastated and stopped calling and writing him. She ended up moving and her number changed so he couldn’t contact her.
No abuse or cheating.

I think it might be a sign that I read too much dark romance.. but I was expecting some hand necklace action based on the title. This was more of a second chance childhood friends to lovers kinda story.
