The war for Cybertron is long over. The war from Cybertron never ends. The planet Donnokt sits on the edge of the universe, far away from all the stars that are flickering and fading out one last time. It is a world on the precipice of revolution—industrialization—taking its first steps into the realms of the mechanical. And on the far edge of nowhere, a Visitor arrives, and Donnokt will never be the same again.
I'm not a big fan of westerns but I love the Transformers. The first half of this book had me kinda low. Then the second half picks up with a decent battle sequence. I'm not big on the art style but Rodimus looked good enough. The last panel has me hoping that we don't get too much of the Pokemon style Transformers. I really want to like this so issue 2 will be the tipping point.
Old Man Logan meets Transformers: Rodimus isn't just reckless and insane, he's old, too. (My grudge carries over from the last couple series, MTMtE and LL where he was the shittiest captain ever.)
Still, it's kinda cute how he's getting along here, so I'll give the series some wiggle room, but yeah, I'll probably shit on Rodimus some more as this mini-series progresses.
