Schizophrenia is a mental condition in which a person confuses the real world with the imaginary world, causing them to act strangely and unexpectedly.
This book deals with this particular condition. It is a real-life story of the author's mother. The story revolves around a woman named Hansa who is suffering from schizophrenia. The story begins with the author's mother being admitted to the hospital. His mother's coma for 21 days made him realise her significance and her true value in his life. He wanted to apologise for the way he had treated her in the past.
This book is a memoir. The language used is easy but it is definitely not a light read. The underlying message is clearly conveyed, i.e., start appreciating and giving time to the people around you before it's too late. Given that this is a true story, the author's first book was written in agony and sadness, it was a good attempt.
You might like to wander through a few artistic journals — they’re full of sparks and surprises.

The first thing I would like to mention was Storytelling, the way author remind some past memories with the present circumstances was a real joy to read. These narrations keep you engage till the end. As the writer is narrator himself, really provide an insight of himself as well as other, in the way chapters and scenes are written. Story, as it's based on life incident of writer, but you also feel connected to the story and sometime you may relate to it while reading. It was not so long, like most of the memoir and biographies, but very much powerful and meaningful. Emotions of the book content are strong, and I would like to recommend to all the people to give it a try, it's a worthy read, and truly engaging. Last thing, author wrote this book efficiently, there isn't a bit circumlocution, and all the good bites.
📑 Chapters - There are 9 chapter, describing the journey of family for 24. This was actually a good idea to setup chapters in a day to day life sequence, kudos to author.
🗣️ Language - Completely written in English, and language is simple, with a little typical Indian vibes.

Having started reading this book few days back, I came to realise how gravely mental illness is neglected or ignored in India. Hansa is a mother of three. She has been crippled mentally for life due to an unfortunate incident during her first pregnancy. The worst part is she is unaware of her issues nor is she willing to comply to the medication. Her children Sachin, Neha, Jigar ( Who is the author of this book ) and her husband do try their best to cope with the symptoms of her disease. They persuade her in every possible way to take the medication only leading to disappointment. This book chronicles the journey of the author and his heartfelt tribute to his mother. He also has bared his heart in this open book which includes all the misdemeanors and misunderstandings which arose in the midst of family. The author takes us back and forth through the past and the present- Presenting the gore realities of life and the situations we entwine ourselves in. The book was a translation from the native lingo of the author into the English language which bore the brunt. Otherwise, the subject matter - mental issue was portrayed with all honesty and the author needs to be appreciated for this.

Dear Mom: Finding hope, happiness and her is a heart-wrenching book, it is a true account of author's relationship with his mom and him losing her. The book not only tells heart touching and heart breaking story of a son and a mother but it also sheds light on one of the mental illnesses - schizophrenia.
As it is a true account, Indian readers will be able to relate with the family dynamics and every reader will understand and relate to the emotions conveyed through this book. Most of the times, we take our parents for granted, but when we realize that we might lose them forever, there are a million things we want to say and we want to do for them. This book beautifully portrays this thing.
The book is an emotional ride in itself. I was crying at the end. I will recommend this to you, if you want to read something emotional, real, and heart touching.

Mothers are an integral part of life. We can't do anything without her. She is always there for us doesn't matter what we do, The book Dear Mom is all about the author's mother. She had suffered a lot in her life. The authors' mother had Schizophrenia but she did not want to opt for any treatment. Then she gets into a life-threatening situation - a brain hemorrhage. This entire story is about the journey of those 21 days.
It was touching. Although I believe the execution of the story could have been much better.

Moms are the biggest blooms in the bouquet of life. Without her, we children are nothing.
A mother is one who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.
A mother adds unparalleled beauty to our world much like the serene shade of colorful flowers blooming in the spring.
But our society and most of the family takes her as granted. The author brings this topic through his writing.
Dear mom is a true heart warming story of author's mother.A woman who has struggling with "schizophrenia" after her marriage. It happened due to her first miscarriage in her 9th month.
Being a schizophrenia patient, she reacted a lot to little things, to the level you can't even imagine. Forgetting things, overreacting, losing memory are the symptoms of schizophrenia.
And just because she wasn't taking medicines, she had to go through a lot. At last she also gets into a life threatening situation- "a brain haemorrhage". She went into coma.
The whole story revolves around the 21days journey of the mother in the hospital.
His mother's coma for 21 days let him realize her significance and true value of a mother in a family.
This book is based on the idea of how we sometimes realize the worth of the something, when we are about to loose it...!!
The author finally feels that he has to say so many things to his mom, atleast "A SORRY". "Sorry for not being supportive during the hard times".
A irreplaceable bond of a son and a mother is very well executed by the author.
The author brought out a lot of homely conversation in the book which I felt it happens at every home, which you all can relate...!!
To be very honest..! This was a bit boring read for me Just because I received this book in kindle edition. I am kind of person who prefer paperback reads instead of kindle. So reading 168 pages in kindle edition was quite boring for me.
And guess what??? I finished this whole book in just 2 days. So it was tiring too...!!
I would suggest you to read this book in paperback edition...!
This book will make you just realize "start appreciating and giving time, importance, love and care to the people around you before it's too late"...! ❤

Name- Dear Mom: Finding Hope, Happiness and Her
Author- Jigar Prajapati
Format- Kindle
Review-
It's been around a year since I last read any kind of story book. Due to my studies and pressure at my workplace, I had to just shut down my passion. The passion of reading books and reviewing it so that many other young readers like me gets access to good content by not so known Indian writers. And Dear Mom was just the book i needed in my hectic schedule.
I go out in the morning for work and come back tired in night. The only day I stay at home is Sunday. That too, I spend this day either working or binging in laptop or going out with friends. Honestly I do not get time to sit with my parents and talk to them. I can feel even they sometimes need me. Sometimes I get rude towards my mom and dad. But they don't say a word. This book was what I exactly needed at this hour.
Author Jigar Prajapati has beautifully penned out a true story of a son's attitude towards his mother. The authors' mother had Schizophrenia but she did not want to opt for any treatment. Then she gets into a life-threatening situation - a brain hemorrhage. This story is all about the realisation her son had during those 21 days she was at the hospital undergoing treatment.
To all those who doesn't know about brain hemorrhage. It is an emergency condition in which a ruptured blood vessel causes bleeding inside the brain.
This book has been penned to examine some of the ways love heals and it helps a person to grow climb upwards and rise from immeasurable depths. This book is both heart wrenching and motivating. It is a book of self realisation. It will make you realise how much your parents have been doing to run your house without even bothering you.
The strong physiological impact that Hansa faced felt like it can happen with me too. Such was the beautifulness of this story.
Would recommend to readers to every age. 5 on 5. The author is bang on target with his emotions.
And lastly. Thank you. Hope you've a nice day to each one reading this review.

BOOK REVIEW
BOOK - " DEAR MOM "
AUTHOR - " JIGAR PRAJAPATI "
GENRE- " MEMOIR, NON FICTION "
Mom is the sweetest word in this world. I think very few unfortunate children would disagree. The greatest love bestowed upon us on this earth is mother's love. A love which we often take for granted and one person who is always there for us.Throughout the history, several people have written great books, artworks, poems on mother.
This is one such book where the author has tried to convey his angst and his love towards his mom.
This book captures the final journey of the author's mother Hansa. Due to an unfortunate incident, she became a schizophrenic patient. But like with most of the patients, his mother wasn't ready to accept that she had a disease which was eating her personality and health inside out. The author also gives a detailed account of several instances in their family life which throws a deep insight into what exactly this disease is and how devastating it can be. Being in a joint family, the author captured the nuances of it well. The bond between the parents, siblings and amongst themselves is both heartwarming and as real as it gets.
Kudos to the author for laying his heart bare. It surely takes courage to speak openly about one's ups and downs which stay on in the public forever.
The book highlights both the best and the worst face of medical facilities in our country. The hospital journey is one thing which every child should know so that they can take precautions beforehand. A very informative book on schizophrenia and other mental health issues which need immediate attention which no only wreck a person's life but everyone around.
Though the langugae of the book was mediocre, one could feel the intent of the author and his transparency in his thoughts. A Must Read book for one and all. A heartfelt tribute to a mother from her beloved son.

🤱DEAR MOM: FINDING HOPE, HAPPINESS AND HER🤱
By Jigar Prajapati
✒️This book was heart-wrenching and uplifting. This book focuses on how the author shows his gratitude towards his mother, when she got admitted in the hospital because of brain haemorrhage. This book reviews the special connection of mother and child; between Author and his mother. Both of them were able to move on and form such a strong loving, inspiring and supporting bond.
✒️A great little book showing moms all the spots throughout the day where just taking the time to breathe and be in the moment makes things go so much easier. This story is about a son who apologizes to his mother.
✒️A book lives in every person who reads it."
"I recently learned that what happens in a cocoon is not that a caterpillar grows wings and turns into a butterfly. Rather, the caterpillar turns to mush. It disintegrates, and out of this mush, a new creature grows. Why does no one talk about the mush? Or about how, for any change at all to happen, we must, for some time, be nothing - be mush. That is where you are right now - in a state of mush. Right now your entire life is mush. But only if you don't try and escape it might emerge one day as a butterfly."
✒️”This book has been written to examine some of the ways love heals and helps a person to climb impossible heights and rise from immeasurable depths.”
✒️Hansa , the author's mother, he is unaware of how important his mother's role was in his life. It is at his mother's deathbed that the author of this book feels his indifference and his carelessness due to which his mother is in this condition. He also apologizes to his mother for that.
✒️This book is a memoir and is quite realistic. Overall this book is probably one of my favourite memoirs. It explores such an interesting relationship between mother and son and the troubles both must face and how to overcome this. This had beautiful quotes littered throughout that my book is covered in post-its. Overall, this is a fantastic piece.

'Dear Mom: Finding Hope, Happiness And Her' is an heart-breaking emotional memoir of the author, of the time when his mom had a brain hemorrhage and fell into a coma. The author feels regretful and guilty of the fact that he and his family couldn't help and convince his mom to take all her medicines regularly which led to sudden rise in blood pressure leading to hemorrhage.
It's in a way the story of a joyful Hansaben who wanted to study, loved collecting gold jewelry, made delicious food and was absolutely fond of her family. The saddest part of her life was that she was a Schizophrenic patient and her husband and other family members were unaware of it until her kids grew older. Her entire life she was mocked for her low memory and irritable nature while she kept absorbing all the surges trying to prove to the world she was mentally stable.
When her kids tried to make her understand about her problem she refused to take any medicines like most Schizophrenic patients in a way even avoiding her blood pressure medicines. The author, Jigar Prajapati has narrated his Mom's plight with complete truthfulness of how the patient sees their mental problem, the gory state of coma, how family and caretakers behave in such situations.
Definitely books like this would feel shallow or overdramatic for people who've not been in such situations, who have never experienced trauma as humans where we respond in a very unhealthy and disturbing way towards people who have mental problems or prolonged illness. I appreciate the honesty of the author and may his mom's soul rest in peace.

Dear Mom is a real story of a woman who was struggling with schizophrenia after her marriage. The story represents the ups and downs of her life. Just because she wasn’t taking medicines, she had to go through a lot. Finally, she met an uninvited situation – a brain haemorrhage.
The author realized that he has to say many things to his mom before anything worse happened to her, and especially a word, ‘sorry.’ Sorry for the trouble he had given his mom without understanding her disease. Sorry for not supporting his mom when she actually needed support.
The story starts from admitting his mom to the hospital. The author waits for his mom to be conscious and talk to her as much as he could. Her journey of 21 days in the hospital makes him realize how important she was to him.
This book is the author’s tribute to his mom. It’s his apology to his mom. This book is a memoir of the relationship of the author, his mom and his family.
📍 Reading through this memoir was an emotionally wrenching journey.. a person's closest & most favourite person is always her mom..someone who loves you selflessly no matter how old you get. And to see her suffer & finally leave you..ruins you to pieces. The author explains his feelings & the entire sequence of events in great detail which makes it feel almost real..as a reader.
All I can say is please take care of your mom, love her, spend time with her while you can..also if possible don't let her miss her medicines..

Dear Mom is a confessional memoir written by Jigar Prajapati as a tribute as well as an apology to his mother; the book narrates the psychological state of the author during the flurry of stressful hospital visits when his mother gets hospitalized because of a brain hemorrhage; while seeking forgiveness, the harrowing memories flood back to the author; amongst the portrayal of the average Indian household troubles and how they are dealt with, this memoir confronts the poor state of psychiatry and mental health awareness in the country.
Regular hospital visits for your loved ones often entail a strong psychological impact especially when you are not able to communicate with them. The author undergoes this experience and emerges with a good change of mindset and manages to keep sanity throughout the major turn of events. Other subjects that are prevalent here are little dysfunctions in an average Indian household and how they are dealt with, and schizophrenia.
A few pages in the beginning and a few in the end perfectly described the bond the author shared with his mother. That was the kind of vibe I expected from the book. However, the book as a whole did not follow the title rather it focused more on the troubles that schizophrenia and the brain hemorrhage attracted. The simple language constrained the author’s expression. Overall, it was a page-turner filled with anecdotes introducing you to the author's family as a character, and familiarizing you with different experiences.

The book Dear Mom : Finding Hope, Happiness and Her by Jigar Prajapati.
His story, Dear Mom, is not best a actual tale but a son's ackowledging sorry to her unwell mom who, is on her demise bed, have been looking forward to her death for last 21 days. Hansa, the girl in her early 50s, who had already been grappling with schizophrenia seeing that her miscarriage inside the 9th month of her being pregnant comes to face a terrible experience in form of a sever brain haemorrhage.
A traditional Indian mother, Hansa, continually bearing a acute distaste for the medicines, makes everybody at a loss for words due to her carelessness in the direction of her own health. The complete own family gets to recognize that how pricey she is to all circle of relatives participants in the course of her 21 days of grappling with lifestyles and death.
The tale with a view to let people recognize approximately the mentally sick patients - how they behave and how we ought to behave with them. It's tough to deal with this kind of mentally sick man or woman suffering from depression, schizophrenia, bipolar ailment, etc. Many people are struggling; and the humans around them are unable to address them nicely; in the long run they get more aggressive. The incidents inside the story are utterly absorbing.
The language of the tale is so lucid and legible that even kids can read and conceive the essence of the story in a drift.
It's a must study for anybody.

The book is 162 paged novel. Written by Indian author Jigar Prajapati, Dear Mom: Finding hope, happiness and her is an emotional tale. One’s mother is the only soul in one’s life who would do things for our benefit even without telling us. And therefore, none can replace her. Life is most unpredictable thing on planet earth. We take things for granted for we feel it is in abundance. We fail to value it.
Dear Mom is based on the true experience of a woman who developed schizophrenia after her marriage. The story captures her life's highs and lows. She had to go through a lot just because she wasn't taking her medications. Finally, she encountered an unwelcome visitor: a brain haemorrhage.
Before anything worse happened to his mother, the author recognised that he needed to say several things to her, including the word "sorry." Sorry for causing his mother so much trouble by not understanding her illness. Sorry for not helping his mother when she really needed it.
The story begins with his mother being admitted to the hospital. The author waits for his mother to get up and speaks to her as much as possible. Her stay in the hospital for twenty one days lets him realise how important she was to him.
Written like a memoir, this book entails the value of mother’s love. The emotions are rightly depicted through wise choice of words. A recommended read for anyone who is looking for an emotional story. Mother always moves.

✅ REVIEW :
" A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take. "
Dear mom ; finding hope , happiness and her , is an exceptional book by author Jigar Prajapati . The title itself speaks for the book. And as the above quote rightly says , nothing can replace a mother . This book is indeed a narration by author based upon his mother .
Mental issues are often neglected by the society and are considered a burden for the family . But Why a mother can rise up her own child with mental issues but if there's an flip in the above sentence , it is so difficult for children to take care of their aged parents with mental issues ? This book talks about schizophrenia , a mental health issue which has been seen in author's mother and their struggle in search of hope , happiness and her .
An extremely beautiful book , soul touching and literally brings tears to one's eyes . I appreciate author for his beautiful writing and the way of expressing his emotions and our emotions through this great read . I definitely recommend this book to everyone to read atleast once in their lifetime.

Life is so unpredictable. When we get something in abundant we don't realise the value of it and when that thing is falling apart it breaks a person completely. This was a heart-touching read from me and I am so touched, I felt really emotional while going through it.
Mothers play a very important role in everyone's life and often we hurt her the most in whatsoever condition and we don't realise.
.
"Dear Mom" by Jigar Prajapati is a book which is a memoir written by a son for his dearest mother who was suffering from a serious disease. The 21 days of his mother's unconsciousness made him realise about the importance and the real value of her in his life. The way he behaved with her in the past for that he wanted to apologize. Grab your copies and go through this emotional roller coaster ride. I am sure the readers will definitely love it.
.
Now, coming on the book cover, it's soothing and vibrant. Very well-designed and presented. The title was apt and well-suited. The writing style of the author was rich and reader-friendly which made me go on with this read till the end. The narrations were apt. The pace was good.

Overall, a great read and will definitely recommend.

We often don't realise the value of people's when they are always available but the moment they are not there we realise what role they played in our life, how many things we have left unsaid. Review:
“Dear Mom: Finding Hope, Happiness and Her” by Jigar Prajapati” is a heart warming story that takes readers on roller coaster ride of emotions that emanate from its heart touching plot. It chronicles a simple yet expressive and profound story of woman struggling from schizophrenia and her son who contemplates his bond with his mother as she jostles with life in hospital.

BOOK REVIEW ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)
🌻 I found this book a very emotional story where the author has tried to show his grief for his mother. The story starts when the mother of Jiggar, Nimesh, Sachin and Neha faces a brain haemorrhage when life had started to look good.
🌻 It is a story of a mother who is bad at words but whose heart is pure. She struggles a lot after the brain stroke. The sensitive part was when the doctors cut all her hair off and that made the author very sad.
🌻 The story will take you on a trip of the past events where the author has explained the moments spent with his mother. The disagreements between the mom and dad were the maximum which was found in the story. They usually had fights which would make the kids sad.
🌻 The newly solved relationship between the mother's brother is also a very critical thing in the story. The marriage of the nephew which they had attended just for their mother but in the end realised how would they even think of living without her.
🌻 Hence, the book has a sad ending where the mother dies and the author has left a note for her where he has tried to explain his love and how he will manage to live without her.
🌻 I will recommend you to read this book. It has been written in detail which makes it more interesting.

"All that I am, or ever hope to be
I owe to my angel mother"
- Abraham Lincoln
✍️ The person who serves her duties throughout her life but never count her own contribution, never expect anything in return rather than a little love from her loved ones -- easy to guess she is
the 'Mother'
✍️ Our author sir has jotted down all of his feelings related to his mother within a small book.
✍️His mother suffered from schizophrenia. But as a strong personality she pauses, she neither took it seriously nor noone of her family bothered.
✍️But suddenly she felt unconscious one day and everything has changed since then. 21 days of her unconsciousness made the author realise how she is important in his life. He realised how unconditional love he received from his mother and how ignorance she was throughout her life.
✍️This is an emotional read. Though we love our parents but often we forget to take good care of them when they need it most. It's so realistic read that shows us how exactly we miss golden opportunity to spend some quality time with our parents especially mother.
✍️ I guess this book can be realisation of many others who just take their mother for granted so long. And if it happens, then the hard work of the author will definitely be paid off.

Dear Mom is a memoir written by a son for his mother. His mother was suffering from Schizophrenia, a mental disorder after her miscarriage without even realising it.
The story starts with admitting Hansa (author's mother) gets admitted in the hospital and being in come for 21 days because of Hemorrhagic stroke. This is when he realised important of his mother in his life.
Being a psychology student and seeing a real schizophrenic patient in my family, mental illness is still considered as stigma in our society. People still think that their is a evil spirit inside their body or they are just acting up. People don't try to understand them, they don't try to create a healthy environment for them where they are accepted, loved and cared.
I appreciate the author for being so honest about how he didn't understand her and realised her value later. It's better later than never. Isn't it? This is what this story is all about. And the author did the great job not only writing the book but opening up about his mother's mental illness.
Overall I loved the book and their story needs to be read more by the people, so they can be aware and understand mental illness in more details.

*Title- Dear Mom : Finding Hope, Happiness and Her.
*Author- Jigar Prajapati
*Genre - Memoir, Biography, Autobiography.
*My rating - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Mother", a word which is not made of mere letters but of love and all kind of positive emotions. This book is a tale of a mother her struggle with a mental disorder called Schizophrenia.
Mental health, according to me is more important than physical health because it's something which is invisible and takes a lot for the ones suffering from it to accept it. This book highlights a real life story of a simple family and its day to day battle against a disease which often has to take the form of an ugly fight between the female lead of the family (author's mother) and her beloved family members. The disease paves way for an unexpected brain haemorrhage in the long run because of the irregular medication. And author's mother has to be admitted to hospital for a long time during which the family realizes the importance of her presence in their lives.
The author has put down the story in a simple and honest manner. The courage of the author to write a real story of the journey of family through thick and thin is definitely praiseworthy. This book is recommended to all types of readers.

- In the hustle of trying to survive life, man often forgets to appreciate the people around him and those who helped him progress. Similarly, in this memoir, a son's life starts to fall apart when he realizes his mother is severely ill and that he may not have another chance to convey his gratitude and love to her.
- His mother was suffering from schizophrenia which took a serious form of a brain hemorrhage. She had to be hospitalized immediately. Seeing her lying on the bed brought back memories that got him pondering his life decisions, his attitude towards her, and continued neglect. All the times he had fought and argued with her come back to him. The procedure goes on for 21 days, the most trying days for him. He waits for her to open her eyes so that he could pour his heart out and tell her he loves her.
- It is a non-fiction read about finding hope and happiness again. It is an emotional read which shines a light on a son and his almost frayed relationship with his mother. The plot is very interesting and non-complex. The writing style is simple. Overall, it is a heart-warming read.

First of all, I would like to say the content or the chapter name of the book is very different. I appreciate the Author writing something out of the box. This book is a true story and while reading you can feel every emotion because we all have the same kind of family or we mostly do the same things in all these described situations. This book will show you the relationship between son and mother and some harsh realities related to it.
From the beginning of the story, the boy (the author ) has to take her mother to the hospital for treatment and he comes to know that his mother has a brain hemorrhage and 75% brain is affected. Doctors were also surprised that how she is still alive so they say to keep hope and she will be fine. Will she ever be fine again? Will she be able to talk to her children and grandchildren? Will she be a normal human being again? To find out all answers read this book.
I love the last "Dear Mom letter" by the Author. Incidents which he collected from his childhood are very influential for everyone because We never know but our Moms are the unsung warriors of our life.
Every Kid out there who loves their mother unconditionally must read this book.

“Dear Mom: Finding Hope, Happiness and Her by Jigar Prajapati is a compelling read with a strong appeal for fans of memoirs that explores a sensitive topic of mental health.
This memoir makes me heartache to see the pain and regret of an author to snatch just a few more moments with her mom. The author shares his experiences living “at the edge of human experience” and battling various thoughts and emotions of darkness, pain, and hope. The author writes about his and his mother suffering from schizophrenic mental battles.
I loved how the author opens up and writes with honesty and allows us a powerful glimpse of his personal life. It is indeed a moving story, and while it talks about the pain and struggle of Jigar and her mom, it also delivers a powerful message of hope: we can always find healing when we are deeply connected to a support system with love.
The author beautifully conveys his message that “love heals, nurtures, and inspires us to overcome our greatest challenges” with his simple and emotionally evoking writing.
Overall, this is a fantastic piece of work that I will recommend to all to read the beautiful relationship between mother and son.

Dear Mom is a memoir written by author of around 160pages. The language is lucid and easy for beginners.
This book shares the real story written by author about his mom who was a schizophrenic patient. People suffering from this disease goes to memory loss and anxiety issues. They start imagining different scenarios and start reacting to it. Author shared his experiences when his mother was suffering from it. How they all handled the situations, the emotions, the relationships , how they handled their mother and her disease with keeping hope every single moment. This book is a complete family oriented one . You will find ample of emotions shared by author.
This story will make you think on emotions and relationships. I find this one heart touching, though there were cases shared by author which sounded bit rude to me. But that was the reality shared. When we are in our lows, we don't have control on our emotions. We will come to know about it once we loose it. I am very much impressed by the author for sharing the raw story.
If you are interested in reading a memoir full of emotions with less pages then go for it. It was a wonderful feeling reading this book on Mother's day.

Inspired by a true story and events, “Dear Mom” is a captivating and ultimately uplifting journal, a memoir and a tribute by author Jigar Prajapati to his mother.
To me this book is a reflection of my own era, a reminder of how far wrong I had been. I could relate to many instances, long hours spent in the hospital while my mother was struggling to heal in the hospital. I as a reader can also look back to my own mother’s courage , kindness, and sacrifice which should never be forgotten. I could associate to authors thought process while he sat along with his mother, holding her hand and remembering his past and childhood spent with his mother.
The author implements the style of short, uncomplicated pages hosting an abundance of profound passages. He has elaborated on the depth of a mother’s kindness and unconditional love even in desperate times. This book hums along at a brisk, emotional pace — the kind of story that feels like it's moving fast, but really, it's moving deep, too deep...
I would like to tribute this story to my own mother too..

📚 Book Review 📚
Jigar Prajapati the author of the book "Dear Mom: Finding Hope, Happiness and Her" must be appreciated for such an emotional and real book. I could actually connect to the book because i am also going through the same situation at present.
Dear Mom is a story of a woman who's suffering from schizophrenia. The author had actually gone through the situations mentioned in the book.
Hansa - the mother becomes a victim the scrizophrenia after her marriage. The storyline is quite emotional and portrays the ups and downs in her mental health. Hansa refused to take her medicines and hence she had to go through a lot.
The author had gone through mental breakdowns, anger, anxiety, tension and stress due to the family misunderstanding between his father and mother. At last author's mother mets an uninvited situation – a brain haemorrhage.
All in all, the book must be read as it brings out a unique concept. A concept which no one wants to talk about. But the author chose to.
Rating: 5/5
Thank You.
