I love being single. I don’t answer to a significant other or any children, and I get to see the world on the company dime.
Next stop? Milan. The longer than expected layover in New York is a bit of a bummer, but the night I spend with two strangers from my flight? H.A.W.T. I don’t know which I enjoy more—the way words roll off their tongues in their incredible Italian accents, or the way they use those tongues on me.
When I reach my destination, I realize Diego and Raul are my employer’s newest investment. It’s my job to make sure their high-end restaurant opens without a hitch.
As long as I’m here, it’s not a big deal if I spend another night—or five—with them, is it?
But their five-year-old, Eloise, has a different vision for my future, and hers includes me making a long-term commitment to her daddies.
Regardless of what she thinks, when this job is over I have to go back to my life in The States and they’ll stay in Italy. Whether I like it or not.
Thanks for stopping by! I am not currently accepting any friend requests.
Allyson Lindt has been telling stories since before she could put the words on paper. She was lucky enough to marry her muse and soul mate. Their cats are their children, and when they’re not spending way too much time gaming, they’re building new worlds together. She loves a sexy happily-ever-after and helping deserving couples find their futures together.
4.5 stars - This was a really good read with a giant cuteness factor in the form of Eloise "Ellie," and her instant BFF, Harmony. Eloise is a bit of a scene stealer but in the best possible ways. 😄🤗
When it comes to Raul and Diego, they are the couple that others set their standards to. They are loving and committed and make great partners in and out of the bedroom. They are terrific fathers who love their little girl to the moon and back. Even with all of that, they still have room for another mate. I like that they openly play with others together, until they meet Carly.
Raul's horrible pick-up lines nearly bite him, but in a moment of weakness Carly lets them in a smidge. I love the way things build, break and repeat.
Their voices. Their smiles. Their bodies…
I couldn’t fathom turning down any of it. Not tonight. -- Carly Hammond 🔥🔥🔥
...Or any night! Yeah, they are decidedly hot together and their personalities complement each other in ways that makes them fit like puzzle pieces clicking together. I just love them! ❤❤❤❤
I love this world that Allyson has created and how she expands and weaves parts from different series together. Each book is standalone but all of the secondary characters you come to like either have or will likely get a story.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Raul, Diego and Carly had such a wonderful story! Add in Eloise it was the extra cherry on top!! I could not put this story down and read it all in one go. I loved how much love Raul and Diego had for their family, but it was so sweet watching them fall for Carly too. A little bit of drama with 2 exes and personal insecurities kept this triad apart for some time, but a sweet HEA!! I haven’t read the other books in the Three Player Grind set but had no issues knowing the side characters have their own books so this one most definitely can be read alone (but now I want to go back and read the other stories too because how can you not love an Allyson Lindt love story!)
Their Unexpected Wild And Wonderful Journey - This was an awesome story, with lots of action both in and out of the bedroom. The characters had so many twists and turns in their life, I felt like I was riding a rollercoaster. However, I just couldn’t help but fall in love with the precocious child, just like anyone who met her in the story. I actually was a bit broody and wanted to have a little girl too (have a son), then I stopped when I remember all the sleepless nights and nappy changes, as well as the stuff I had to lug around when I wanted to go out.
I was glued to the pages and found it difficult to stop reading once I started. If you love great characters, captivating storylines and lots of adult content, then you will enjoy reading this book, so don’t hesitate to get it.
I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I was fortunate to read this serial in the authors newsletter and had already fallen in love with her stories from the beginning. Something about the way this author writes her characters and situations resonates in me. This particular female character Carly Hammond is the type that I admire in my book females. She’s independent, confident, smart, and a problem solver. I saw her in several other supporting roles in the other books within this series and ecstatic she gets her love story. Although the author did tweaked the novel from the newsletter by adding extra scenes as well as those with steamy sexy times, the story does not lose it’s integrity. Entrepreneur Raul & Diego Bianchi-Gallo need help with their dream: convert an old Catholic Church into a restaurant. However every good story has to have conflict and even a villain which this does. Family, love and friendship rocks this story as one over forty female gets love and family.
Loved this story about workaholic Carly and the two guys she met on a flight that was bound for Milan. The flight is unexpectedly interrupted by a weather-induced layover in Philadelphia and Carly (or Lee, as she has introduced herself) invites the two men to share her hotel suite for the night. She falls asleep and so only gets some cuddles, but it turns out to a good thing. Upon arrival in Milan, she discovers that the two men (who also were also using aliases) were the clients she was in the city to assist. They were remodeling an old church to turn it into a restaurant and her company was funding the venture. She is disappointed to learn that she had to keep a business-only relationship with Diego and Raul, especially after she meets their adorable daughter, Eloise.
Things start to really go wrong when Eloise has the three get 'fake married' at the soon-to-be restaurant and the story ends up on social media. By this time, Carly has succumbed to her desire to have both Diego and Raul and her boss is demanding an explanation for her reported marriage. To top it all off, her ex- husband now lives and works in Milan and is trying to sabotoge her project. Can she manage to keep the renovation on track, fend off her ex, and keep her hands off her clients?
Great story and lovable characters. Eloise is a real heartbreaker. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
Carly was loving her care-free life, until she met Raul and Diego, (her new clients) and their precocious 6-year-old daughter and began to question her past choices.
I enjoyed Carly’s quick wit and sassy banter in response to Raul’s shameless flirting. The chemistry between these three was off the charts! While they were quick to act on that chemistry, they were also somewhat guarded with their hearts, which I liked. Well, except for --
This is an entertaining OWYM polyamory romance, that’s so flirty, so sexy and so very steamy! The story is well written and the characters while fun, interesting, and likeable are not without past baggage and some ongoing drama. There’s plenty of humour, some angst and several explicit sexual encounters including MFM and MM scenes.
I received an Advance Reader Copy from the author, and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Layover By Allyson Lindt Main Characters: Carly, Diego, and Raul I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author. 5 out of 5 stars I was so happy to see this book did not have gaming in it because I have never ever played a game and so I was always a little confused in Allyson's stories but that never stopped me from loving them. These three had instant chemistry on a layover in Philadelphia. Carly did not think she would ever see the two men again. However, when she gets to Milan she finds out she will be working with both men on their new restaurant they plan to open. Throw in a cute little girl and an ex-husband into the mix. And let the hi-jinks begin!
Book three in this steamy series and we meet Carly, Raul and Diego who spend the night together at a lay over in New York. Thinking it was a one night only deal imagine their surprise when they find out Carly is actually there to help them open their restaurant which her company is funding! It’s a great read and our characters have off the charts chemistry. Throw in some witty banter, some fun, some humour and friendship, oh and a cute five year old little girl and you find yourself totally hooked, hoping they get their hea. Suspense, a little mystery and an awful ex-husband and you will be lost in this story.
Carly loves her jet-setting single lifestyle, really she does. On a flight to New York she meets two incredibly attractive Italians and the flirting begins. But those Italians turn out to be Raul and Diego, her new clients. This story is complex and emotional - there’s Eloise, Raul and Diego’s daughter and her sweetness, there’s the forbidden relationship, there’s baggage, there’s plenty going on in this story. I felt right along with the characters and was engaged throughout the entire book. A wonderful and realistic story.
Another WONDERFUL Three Player story with Carly as the initially reluctant participant in a threesome with Raul and Diego. One of the sweetest and delightful surprises in this story was Eloise, the precocious and adorable5 year old daughter of the two "Daddies". The struggle the three main characters go thru to9 see whether they deserve an HEA together is magnificent to watch unfold. I loved this Three Player Grind story.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
Sometimes love surprises you because you have already fallen…
As I read each characters installment I was totally drawn into their lives. Attraction at first sight may have brought them together but a misconception and old baggage has them fighting the feelings. More than once they break our hearts and put them back together again. Though this is not an action tale the pace is very quick, no way was I putting it down.
The Layover is another steamy entry in the Three Player Grind series. Joining two hot men and a somewhat older, slightly jaded and unconsciously-wishing-for-love woman are adorable and funny side characters who add humour, banter and friendship to the intense chemistry. Throw in some suspense and you've got a story that will keep you glued to the pages. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author and am leaving this review voluntarily and honestly.
Carly loves not being tied down with a husband and kids and travelling the world for work. When she meets Diego and Raul sparks fly and they share a steamy night together. She is surprised to discover they are her next assignment, make sure their restaurant opens without any issues. She plans to enjoy them as long as she can but Eloise, Diego and Raul’s daughter has other plans. Fast-paced read with loads of drama and emotion, sizzling scenes and scorching chemistry. I loved it.
Carly loves being able to travel the world free of relationships. She connects with Diego and Raul and sparks ignite between them. This heats up even more when she discovers that Raul and Diego are her next assignment. Have the stars aligned for this threesome to have a happy ending? This story drew me n and kept me glued to it to see how theirs end. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
Allyson's stories are so cute. I was so happy to read this book. The instant chemistry the three of them had on a layover in Philadelphia, Carly never expected she would ever see the two men again. However, when she gets to Milan to start her new job, she finds out she will be working with both men. Add in a cute little girl and an irritating ex-husband and the new restaurant they plan to open. A lot of fun begins.
Eloise was a tad more of a brat than I could tolerate on the regular and really dragged me out of the store pretty frequently. I felt like the reaction of Carly to nearly everything was immature and selfish as well. Diego and Raul didn't always have the best communication skills. When things were going well for them I enjoyed this book but anytime they had conflict I was less enthralled. Not my favorite cast of characters this time around.
The message I came away with at the end of this book is that even true love takes work. Even though Carly, Raul, and Diego have unbelievable chemistry together, there are so many things working against them. Including their own fears and insecurities. However, they have some amazing friends and family to support them. (And give them a swift kick when necessary.) I can’t wait to see how the seeds of the coming story will play out. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
Loved this read, Raul Carly and Diego make the perfect mix with a splash of cute from Eloise. Definitely fate that brought these three together, before they were supposed to meet. They had all the chemistry, and made an awesome team when they needed to. A few bumps in the roads and some old wounds to get past but wow when they did, they were perfect together.
The third book in the Three Player Grind series. Carly and the two Italian men Diego and Raul along with the men's five-year-old, Eloise's story. The story is well written and held my interest until the end, it was well worth reading. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
So hot!! Carley meets Raul and Diego on a flight to meet her new business associates which has an unexpected layover due to a storm. I really felt that the three-way dynamic worked well between them. I did feel that more of Carley’s ex-husband but that is the only slight negative.
This is an entertaining and engaging romance with defined MCs, steamy chemistry, and a few complications. This is a fast and easy read and I liked it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
I didnt feel like the heroine was too connected to the heros and didnt feel too connected to the characters. Since the writer has good writing and interesting plot I gave it 3 stars.
Wonderful story of two men and their adorable daughter falling in love with a strong, hard-working woman. Such sweet moments, and some hot, steamy moments, too. Needs to proofreading to fix some typos. Great story, though, if you can overlook that.
Carly Hammond travels to Milan to help oversea the renovation of an old building into a restaurant. On her trip she meets two guys, and a snowstorm causes a layover where the three get better acquainted. :-) Surprise -- the guys are the principals in the business she is working with.
