Whoever it is, they threaten the fabric of our happiness, And the very safety I’ve found in my sexy surfer dude’s arms.
Will Daniel accept my big surprise? Or will my new life end up like it started, lonely and messy?
I need Ryder's book STAT. I hope we find out the killer's identity and not in the last book of this series lol.
Daniel and Sicily (I did not know that was a name for a girl) meet at a graduation party. Sicily is visiting from Ohio. They had a one-night stand and then Sicily flies back to Ohio, unbeknownst to her, pregnant with Daniel's daughter. Four years later, she gets a job offer in San Diego at *surprise* Daniel's company.
I was surprised at the audacity of Sicily to introduce his daughter to him without saying "oh, and btw, she's your daughter too". Even if she didn't want to tell him in the beginning because he seemed like an irresponsible, drunk playboy, she should have told him when he was more mature, the company owner. I guess it was okay for me that she didn't tell him earlier because he was in California, and she was in Ohio, and the only way he would have known was if Amber told him.
I obviously wasn't expecting the murder component; I was expecting a straightforward, simple contemporary romance, not a murder mystery lol, but I liked it because it made the book more exciting.
I found the first sex scene a little awkward, with the peeling off of all the clothes (getting his foot out of his jean holes), but I was also reading it late at night, so that didn't help with my reading comprehension.
This was my first book I got from Booksprout. I signed up for Booksprout because I wanted to review Evangeline Anderson's latest release, but I guess I was too late, and/or she had a limited number of people she wanted to review. To try it out, I picked up this one because I like secret baby books.
Other thoughts : I was impressed with how realistic the whole college party scene at the beginning of the book was. And, maybe this book is a sign that I will get back with my SP, who I'm pretty sure was named Daniel.

This was a good read. Sicily and Daniel have a one night stand. She ends up pregnant but doesn't tell him. Years later they work together and they still have feelings. Of course things are complicated when he finds out about the kid. Thankfully in the end everything works out and they get their happy ending.
Emotions, suspense, drama, feels and mystery are skillfully honed into a sharp and clever storyline that has you entertained and invested. I honestly enjoyed Daniel and Sicily's romance. They hit me with a solid one-two punch of heat and heart that had me really feeling it. Harper is totally adorable, and a scene stealer for sure. All and all, a great start for this series. This is my volitional, forthright review.
Sicily hooks up with Daniel one night in college to have a lasting effect for her. She doesn't think Daniel can handle it, so she doesn't tell him and goes on to build the best life she can for her and her daughter. Now fate (or someone) has thrown them together again. Can she tell him now or will it only bring heartache? The truth has to come out somehow and eventually it does bring heartache. Can Daniel see past it all and think about what is important now? With a little help from his friends, he will get to the right place in his mind to put his family together for real.
But who is in the background causing problems and sending cryptic messages? Guess we have to read the series to find out!

The first book in Billion Dollar Attitudes Series begins with four of the six bestfriends that was graduating from Berkeley attending their after party was planned by the youngest of the group, Daniel. During the party Daniel met Sicily, a college student from Ohio visiting her bestfriend, Amber a student at Berkeley whose brother also graduated earlier in the day. Daniel and Sicily had an electrifying attraction to each other. They all stayed at the party for hours. Until, they felt the other party goers were intoxicated to the point of being ill. They decided it was time to leave the premises before which time someone regurgitated all the alcohol they had consumed. The six bestfriends, along with Sicily, and Amber all returned to the guys place, where Daniel and Sicily went straight to Daniel's bedroom. The next morning, when Daniel woke Sicily was gone. She left a note thanking him for a wonderful time.
Four years later Sicily returns to San Diego to work for a fast growing tech company with her daughter, Harper. Her first day at work while she was speaking with her boss, Clint who should walk up, but Daniel. He was one of the owners along with his other five bestfriends. Needless to say Sicily was in total shock. She had no idea that was Daniel's company. She decided to stay working there as she believed that she would not have a great deal of interaction with him. She did have to go get her security ID card which human resources sent her down to the maintenance floor to get where they were currently doing some remodeling. When she got to that floor the lights were off, but she followed the directions, she had been given to the right office. In the office, she could not find the light switch so she looked on the desk with the meager amount of light from the window. There was something wet and sticky on the desk that caused her to slip resulting in her finding the light switch. When she got the light on she found the body of the maintenance man with a message carved on his chest "surf's up".
With murder now on everyone's mind Daniel wants to be closer to Sicily, and Sicily not thinking brings Harper to a meeting with her at work where Daniel meets her for the first time. He thought Harper was adorable, and he had the best time talking to her during the meeting. Poor Sicily was in double shock with just finding a body and now Daniel knows she has a daughter. What was she going to do? The spark was still there between Daniel and Sicily there was no denying that. There was something definitely going on with the guys with this murder but what? Was it even safe where would the killer strike next?
How could you ask for more than an edge of your chair read with plenty of mystery, intrigue, as well as a romance? You sure will not want to put this book down until the end, but be warned it does build as it ends this couple's story to continue the mystery into book two. I can hardly wait for it.

For Daniel, his 5 other brothers from different mothers were his family, his friends and his future, and for 5 of the 6 Berkeley college buddies, the future was now. Guy had graduated the previous year and had immediately begun to organize the tech vision for the future partners with a think tank. Today with their graduation and after party, organized by Guy and Daniel, Chase, Brad, Mitch and Ryder would join the vision that was becoming Intuitive Communications—INT Coms. And Daniel, with one more year until his graduation, a year that would mean slogging alone to the finish line, was bummed. So, he would provide his guys an historic send off, but first, he had to get though the graduation ceremony.
And Fate is at work. Hanging out on the campus before the ceremony he noticed a girl—the most stunning girl with long, sandy blond curls hanging down her slender body wrapped in a tight, short mini. He didn’t know her, but he knew the girl she was with—Amber, a girl from his English lit class. So, when the mystery beauty’s green eyes look his way he smiles, feeling a connection with her—she, like he, has on Chuck Taylors. Joining the two hot chick, he learns from Amber that her friend, Sicily, a junior in college back home in Ohio, has joined Amber’s family in celebrating her older brother’s Berkely graduation.
And Daniel, with his cool surfer boy style and tan, toned body, blue eyes and tousled blonde hair invites the girls to the graduation party he was helping to host celebrating his friends at a local bar. So, later that night, as the party’s dynamics get crazy with a fight obviously and circular vomiting brewing, he invites the girls to the house he shares with the guys. And much later that night, he and Sicily become much better acquainted in his room where he provides her with a great memory of Berkeley graduation and a parting gift—a beautiful blonde-haired, blue-eyed baby girl whom 9-months later, she would name Harper.
Now, four years later, fate is once more at work when Sicily and her 3-year-old blonde-haired, blue-eyed daughter leave Ohio to pursue Sicily’s dream job in San Diego, California. Working with a head hunter, Sicily has been offered her dream job with an up-and-coming tech company named Intuitive Communications—INT COMS. And, the mom and daughter begin their new life in a cute bungalow in a town just south of San Diego named Imperial Beach. But what mom and daughter don’t know is that they have unknowingly reconnected with mom’s past and that there are dark forces lurking in the bright sunshine of SoCal.
JP Comeau has once more crafted an intriguing story of friends and the dark forces that unknowingly are at work in their world. I look forward to the next friend’s story.I received a copy of the romance through Booksprout, but always enjoy a JP Comeau tale of friends and the forces at work around them that I have purchased the first 2 installments.
I don't typically like my romances with suspense thrown it.... BUT, I really enjoyed this book! First time reading this author and I like her style.. with read her books again! Daniel & Sicily meet across a crowded room scenario, except they are both at an outdoor college graduation and notice the other. They are both in their Junior year of college, Daniel at Berkley and Sicily at a local college in her home state. Daniel is the youngest of his 5 friends who are graduating and Sicily is with her bestie as her brother is graduating as well. They run into one another at the celebration party at a very crowded bar and Daniel invites her and her bestie Amber back to their house to continue the celebration with a more manageable party. These two have an immediate connection and spend the night in his room. The next morning when Amber wakes Sicily up to get on a plane to go home. Sicily leaves a note, but not her phone number.... which may have come in handy weeks later when she finds her self pregnant. Four years later, Sicily and her daughter make the move to CA for her new job, her first day there, she runs into her baby daddy...and they are both stunned!! Things progress and he finds out Sicily is a single mom to cute little Harper whom Daniel meets when Sicily has to come back to the office after there is a murder in the copy room... Wasn't expecting something like this and it definitely kept me on my toes as to what this person was after, especially after the message that was left as well. I was so invested in this book and this couple... it was SOOO GOOOD!! I am hooked, the mystery murder is not solved, but that sets us up for the next friends book and I can't wait. I do wish Daniel and his friends discussed the murder and the event at the beach with Harper as I though that was odd they didn't mention it. The author gives us a beautiful epilogue and I hope we get to see more of this couple!! Definitely one clickable!!

Daniel is the youngest of his group of friends, all brilliant and motivated young men. They have plans to create an IT company that utilizes their individual skills. Daniel has one more year of college and tonight is the party that he's organized for their graduation. Destiny is playing its hand tonight when Daniel spots a slender, blond-haired girl across the quad and he's stunned by her beautiful green eyes. Her name is Sicily, and she's a junior in college in Ohio, here for the graduation of her best friend's brother. Later that night, Sicily and Amber find themselves at the party where Daniel and his friends are celebrating. There is a sudden and powerful connection between them and they give in to their passion. Both of them know that this is for one night and tomorrow they will go their separate ways. But 9 months later, Sicily gives birth to a beautiful little girl named Harper, and she makes the decision not to tell Daniel about her because he was a party boy who probably would hate the idea of being a father. I normally dislike the secret baby trope, when the mother keeps the secret for no apparent reason but, as I continued to read, it made a lot more sense within context. Four years later, Sicily moves to California for a new IT job that she found through a headhunter. What she doesn't know is that she's just been hired by the billion-dollar company owned by Daniel and his friends. When she first lays eyes on him, I expected more of a shocked reaction, but neither she nor Daniel did anything other than stare. I didn't feel that zing that I wanted to be there, but as their characters reacquainted themselves, their feelings did grow. By spending time together, Daniel, Sicily and Harper grew into a family before Daniel even knew he was a father. And, yes, Sicily handled it poorly, but Daniel overreacted with cruel words and actions. Their HEA is definitely well-earned and so delightful, and the epilogue very cleverly continues the overarching mystery with Ryder's story.
One Big Surprise: A Secret Baby Romance is book one of the Billion-Dollar Attitude series. Sicily was a junior in college in Ohio and was visiting California for her best Amber brother's graduation. She later went to a graduation party at Berkeley that was being thrown by Daniel and brother's. The two had a passion filled one night stand and Sicily went back to Ohio only to later discover that she was pregnant Daniel had left her with a parting gift which would arrive in nine months time. Sicily decided to raise the baby by herself and tell Daniel about the pregnancy. Fast forward four years later Sicily is back in San Diego, California with her three year old daughter Harper to pursue her career and to get a fresh start. She got a job with a tech firm Communications INT Coms. It turns out that she can't ran away from her past. Because when she showed up to her new job and being introduced to all the partners she found herself staring at the face of her one night/Harper's dad. But a lot has change he now wealthy and unknowingly as a daughter. That cute surfer guy with the perfect smile, tan ripped abs and blonde tousled hair still leaves her speechless. As they work together they realize that they were still attracted to each other and decided to go at it again and let Daniel spend some time with his daughter without divulging the secret. However, they were someone in the background who knew the secret and was trying to destroy their new found happiness and destroy the company. They are enemies, suspense, drama, danger, lies, betrayals, deception, lies, mystery, angst, deception, hatred, resentment, envy, anger, lust, passion, twists and turns sprinkled with steam. The story was intriguing and captivating with well developed characters and a well thought out storyline. It's a great start to a new series.

4 years ago... Daniel was a part of a group of graduating friends who all attended Berkeley and were gearing up to take the world by storm. Known as the most conscientious of the group and the youngest, Daniel still had a year of college left before he could join his friends. Yet on that fate had something else plan for Daniel. Across the walkway Daniel was mesmerized by the most beautiful girl he has ever seen as she turned, she saw Daniel and time stood still as they stared at each other. Slightly distracted Daniel took his eyes of the blonde beauty and despaired of ever seeing her again...
4 years ago Sicily traveled with her best friend and her family to celebrate her brother on graduating from Berkeley. As she looked around her eyes were captured by a handsome blonde with the cheesiest flirtation she had seen in a while. He was so adorable and unfortunately as Sicily was leaving with her friend and her family she gave him a half grin and nodded back to him. Sicily was charmed by his wave and a part of her hoped that she would see him again..
Today... Sicily and Daniel have matured a lot with responsibilities and obligations that they could never have imagined. It is shocking to say the least that fate has yet another plan for these two people... but no one could have ever believed the circumstances that brought them together.
This was a wonderful novel that I truly could not put down. I was a little sad kind of because I was looking for so much more the story just flowed beautifully. I take this as the initial story of the series. I'm strapped in for the ride in this series to see how the map is formed for the novels to come. I know nothing stays the same and that change is constant so I'm riding with Ms. Comeaux because she has always delivered! Good Job!

One Big Surprise by J.P. Comeau is the first book in her Billion Dollar Attitudes series. The character development in this book is awesome and the story is terrific. This book to me is Ms. Comeau's best book to date. It had my attention from the beginning making it nearly impossible to put down.
Daniel is the youngest of his group of friends. One already graduated when he was a freshmen, the other 4 are just graduating leaving him alone at school to complete his senior year. While waiting outside after the graduation, while the families all took pictures, Daniel sees Sicily and she takes his breath away. He wishes he had had the guts to talk to her and now fearing he will never see her again.
Sicily is attending her best friend's brother's graduation in California with their family. She sees Daniel across the grass and is intrigued as well. Her best friend Amber tells her at dinner that they are going to "The" Graduation Party of the year.
The girls arrive at the party, Amber send Sicily to the bar to open a tab and get their first drinks. Standing at the bar is Daniel and sparks fly between them. The girls follow the boys home to continue the party more privately. Sicily leaves Daniel asleep in bed, leaving no personal info to get in touch with her, in order to catch an early flight back home with Amber's family.
Several years later, Sicily is hired for a new job in San Diego and moves there arriving the day before she starts work. On her first day, her new boss introduces her to his boss who just happens to be.......Daniel. They both try to not think about the other and their initial meeting but both fail.
Their romance and the angst that they struggle with is just a great story and of course has a HEA. It is possibly Ms. Comeau's best book yet and one I am sure I will read again and maybe again. It is definitely worth a read.
This is a beautiful love that starts out as a one night stand where Sicily is visiting Berkeley during graduation with her friend and meets Daniel at a party he put together for 3 of his graduating friends. They spend one incredible night together with Sicily leaving early the next morning without a word. Sicily ends up pregnant and never tells Daniel as he was a party carefree college guy and 4 years later Sicily and her daughter Harper find themselves moving to CA, working at the company Daniel and his 4 college buddies created back in college. To say they are both speechless to see one another is an understatement. Daniel wants to get to know Sicily and pick up where they left off and she wants to hide with her secret, Harper. Things progress with them being friendly, there’s a murdered employee and Daniel discovers Sicily is a single mom. Harper meets Daniel and they have a great time getting to know one another and he feels a connection and need to protect her when danger comes. When things get serious between them Daniel learns the truth unexpectedly and he loses his mind and says some mean things to Sicily to the point she packs up and heads back home. Beautiful ending and the unknown murder and trouble maker is left unknown. Hopefully we learn more in the next story. Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. New interconnected series with each book focusing on one couple finding their HEA. This one is on Daniel and Sicily and there is a mix of second chance romance with a surprise child thrown in and an overarching murder mystery still unsolved.
The chemistry and steam between the 2 main leads was hot but it felt like there was a gap in their connection. I'm not a fan of Sicily as I thought the reasoning behind her decision just didn't make sense. And to me, Daniel came across as immature. Would have liked to see him step up after discovering the truth. Instead his reaction felt like he was still a confused college guy rather than a business owner. But Harper definitely stole and saved the show.
The murder mystery was intriguing but it was mostly set aside to focus on the relationship and the incidences that occured was sporadic and random and the guys don't seem to even discuss at length what could be happening, which just felt odd. Would have preferred more focus on the mystery so hoping the other books in the series does that.

Daniel and Sicily had one hot night together at a party. Sicily needs to leave the next morning to catch her plane home and leaves Daniel asleep without leaving her details. Fast forward four years and by chance Sicily is back in California for a great job opportunity with a Tech Company. On her first day she bumps into Daniel and it is a complete surprise for both of them, then add in murder, kidnapping fights the story gets dramatic. Sicily who found out she was pregnant after their night together has to decide whether to tell Daniel has no idea about his daughter Harper, in the end that decision is taken from her and drama unfolded fast. A friendship slowly develops between them that leads to more. However Sisily doesn’t divulge Harper is his daughter so secrets from the past come to haunt them.
I loved this book. It was a proper love story of building friendship and trust again. As well as the romance there’s murder and twists and turns that are intriguing. I would have given more stars but it was left as a cliffhanger which I hate as I don’t know low many book’s complete the ending which frustrates me and for this reason I won’t be reading more. I like to read and get a conclusion not be left hanging. A shame as I was enjoying until the end. .
Daniel and Sicily meet when their friends graduate, Sicily and her friend go to a graduation party which just happens to be the one Daniel organised for his friends. They hang out together and end up going back to his house and spending the night together. In the morning Sicily has left because she had a flight to catch and leaves before Daniel woke up. 4 years later Sicily is moving back to the area with her daughter for a job at a tech company. What she doesn't realise is that the tech company is owned by Daniel and his friends. She really wants this job so she tries to keep her feelings for Daniel hidden, but it's not long before Daniel is back in her life as he still feels the same for her too. But what Daniel doesn't realise is that Sicilys daughter is also his, what will he do when he finds out. Something happens at the company and it seems someone is out to threaten Daniel, but who could it be and could Sicily be in danger too.

What a gripping start for a new series! Daniel and Sicily meet at a graduation party in Berkeley, spend a hot night together and part the following day. 4 years later they meet again; He has turned himself into a wealthy entrepreneur, Sicily starts working for him. However, Sicily has a secret, she a single mom to Daniels’s child, Harper, the light of her life. When Sicily finds the dead body of the janitor in a part of the company building, things start getting dangerous, cause someone threatens Daniel and his company. Daniel falls in love with little Harper when they meet, but Sicily need to be sure to be able she can trust him before she reveals her secret. Then at the sandcastle weekend in IB, Harper gets kidnapped … . I can very much recommend this book. The story is the perfect mix of swoony love story and thrilling crime plot, where the readers are left in the dark about who the perp is till the end, … and there’s more to expect from this character in the next book to come!.

J.P. Comeau has done a wonderful job of helping her readers fall in love with not just Daniel and Sicily, but with their daughter, too. J.P. takes the time to develop her characters and engage our emotions as their relationship grows. It doesn’t take long to discover that this book takes a dark and perilous twist, putting our main characters in danger, and adding another element to the surprise baby trope. It is definitely a suspenseful page turner, keeping the reader’s interest and impatiently waiting for more! This was a wonderful and fascinating book, which begins a mystery that I assume will unfold through each book in the series. I enjoyed the first book of this new romantic suspense series and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this new series of billionaires! P.S. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, as Daniel turns out to be a handsome, reliable, mature and romantic lover.
A good start to a new series, almost a second chance romance with a baby thrown in the mix. Having met 4 years previously Sicily and Daniel had a a one night stand at a graduation party. Daniel never knew that Sicily had a baby as a result of that meeting. Now Sicily has secured a job, with Daniels company but neither Sicily or Daniel are aware of this until Sicily's first day with the company.
From there much of their story is fairly predictable, however a murder in the office, Harper (Sicilys child) being snatched and a rather unusual way of Daniel finding out Harper is his child are thrown in and do mix things up somewhat. We are left guessing who the murderer is, but also left a teaser of the murderer returning in Ryker's, Daniels best friend and one of the co-owners of the company, story which I am looking forward to.
While I enjoyed Daniel and parts of this story, I really disliked Sicily our heroine. To me, it takes two to make a baby. She played just as much of a part as he did. Her decision to not tell Daniel about the baby in the beginning was just plain selfish and totally wrong. I will admit that I was very close to both of my parents. Maybe 4 years in a kids life doesn't seem long, but four years for an adult is an eternity to me. So many 'first' memories that he lost out on. Then to keep the lie going after she sees him is just so beyond moral to me. Sicily was very selfish and immature - something she thought Daniel was when she met him originally. The put calling the kettle black in my opinion. Thus my four star review as I couldn't get over that deception. I received an advanced reader copy and I'm leaving this review voluntarily.
Daniel and Sicily have one hot night together. Sicily needs to flee the next morning to catch her plane home and leaves Daniel asleep. Fast forward four years and by chance Sicily is back in California for a brilliant job with a Tech Company. On her first day she bumps into Daniel and it is a complete surprise for both of them. Especially for Sicily who found out she was pregnant after their night together. Daniel has no idea about his secret daughter Harper. A friendship slowly develops between them that leads to more. However, secrets from the past come to haunt them.
I loved this book. It was a proper love story of building friendship and trust again. As well as the romance there’s murder and twists and turns that are intriguing. I can’t wait to read the next in the series from the teaser at the end. A highly recommended read.
One night and four years later! This is about Daniel and Sicily specify, but it is going to be the start of a series of men that find their match while being on the lookout for what/who is next. The story between Sicily and Daniel was one night of crazy lovemaking while being somewhat drunk celebrating college graduation for their loved ones. Well fast forward to four years later and Sicily is now a single mom heading to California for a new job with her little girl, Harper. She loves the adventure and looks like her momma. Of course, she has no clue that the company that just hired her belongs partly to Daniel. Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!!! Love it. Now we have to move on from “Surfs up” to “Vroom Vroom” and Ryder is next!.

This is the first book in the Billion Dollar Attitudes Series. It starts with best friends graduating from Berkeley and attending their after party where Daniel meets Sicily, a college student from Ohio visiting her best friend. Their attraction is strong, so they have a one-nighter and in the morning she leaves not knowing she got pregnant. Four years later she returns to San Diego for work with her daughter and of course the company she starts working for belongs to Daniel. Then there’s the unexpected: the body of the maintenance guy with a message carved on his chest. There is mystery and intrigue in this romance book. You will not put this book down until the end, and you will want more since this couple's story continues into book two. I can hardly wait!.

4.3⭐️ Surprise Baby, Second Chance, Splash of Mystery & HEA! 😍
I always love surprise baby tropes & second chance at love tropes. This story did not disappoint on either front. I got a great story with a HEA! Daniel & Sicily’s chemistry was off the charts & Harper was absolutely adorable. You couldn’t help but fall in love with her. Not only was there the angst of the baby secret & when/how it would come out, but there was some suspense added in there, too. I’m looking forward to the conclusion of that in a future book (though I do wish it was resolved at the end of this book, I understand weaving that mystery through all the books of the series). I am excited to read Ryder’s story next & see who he falls in love with. 😁

What a gripping book! Daniel and Sicily meet on a night out after Daniels friend’s graduation. After spending the night together, Daniel realises Sicily has gone, without leaving any contact details. Years later Daniel meets her again when she gets a job at his company, the chemistry between them both is just electric however Sicily tries to keep her distance as she is hiding a huge secret from Daniel. However when she is in danger, it is Daniel she turns to, however once he finds out her secret, Sicily knows she has lost him for good. A fantastic book that you won’t want to leave down. With lots of drama, a few twists and turns and a cliff hanger at the end, I can’t wait for more in this series!.

In their college junior year, Daniel and Sicily met when they attended someone else’s graduation party in Berkeley. They had an amazing night together before Sicily had to fly back to Ohio. The night changed both of their lives. Daniel became more focused in life with Sicily on his mind. They lost touch. But fate puts them back together. Now Sicily has a daughter. When they get back, they still have the chemistry. Sicily feels guilty not telling Daniel Harper is his. I enjoy the San Diego beach scenes. Harper is the smart and cute 3-year-old. They have good friends and family to support them when they are lost and depressed. A murder mystery is in this story as well. The mystery carries on to the next story of this series. I look forward to it.
One Big Surprise is another exciting release by J. P. Comeau. I enjoyed the escape into this story. It is a realistic story with a mystery.
Daniel was attending a graduation for four of his best friends when he first saw Sicily. She was at the same graduation with her best friend’s family. Daniel throws his friends a huge party. Sicily shows up with her friend. They share one magical night.

Sicily and Daniel meet at a graduation party and have an instant connection. They share an amazing time together, but Sicily is leaving to go home the next day. Months later Sicily discovers that she's pregnant from their night together. She decides to go it alone and not find him to tell him about the baby. Now years later she is starting a new job and when she is at the company being introduced around Daniel shows up. He is one of the owners of the company. Is this a second chance for them? What will he do when he learns about their child?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. This is a book for any book lover.

They rekindled their feelings from the past, as they navigate the chais caused my their stalker, but the fall out from the revelation of Sicily’s long held secret, nearly cost them their forever happiness.
I absolutely loved reading this story, that had me engrossed for a few enjoyable hours. The inclusion of an excerpt from the next book was really great, as it left me wanting to read it now.

Four years ago, Daniel and Sicily had one night and then they went their separate ways to finish college. For Daniel that meant graduating and joining his best friends to become billionaires. For Sicily it meant motherhood in addition to finishing school.
Now Sicily is moving to California for a great job opportunity. What she never expects is that Daniel is one of the owners. And he never forgot her.
When Sicily stumbles on a dead body in their building, Daniel’s protective instincts kick in. He wants to protect her, and the child he finds out she has. Can they come together when he finds out who her child’s father is? Who is the one threatening them? And why?
This is the first book in the Billion-Dollar Attitudes series. Six best friends from college, Ryder, Guy, Chase, Brad, Mitch, and Daniel go in to business together. Sicily and Daniel meet at a party the summer before Daniels Senior year in college. They have one night together but Sicily is gone the next morning. Now five years later Sicily is a new hire at the guys tech business and Daniel sees his second chance to be with Sicily, the one that got away. Sicily is scared because she has a secret she is keeping from Daniel. Steamy second chance romance, with a little suspenseful secondary storyline that continues into book two. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next book.
