The names of the many characters – nine brothers in total, plus their wives, ex-wives, children, fiancées, parents, in-laws, friends etc. really confused me. The chapters jumped from one brother to another and their problems with the main character as Morris as the title suggested – maybe because I hadn’t read Books 1 & 2. The children had names and nicknames, so a girl is called Joey/Joelle for example.
It was hard going to keep track of who was who, who did what, when and where.
The dynamics of the family and different personalities were interesting but also confusing to keep track of.

I love that these books tell the story of the family as much as they do each individual couple. But I’m a sucker for a second chance and I would have loved to have had a bit more time with Morris and Leigh to see them working at that second chance. Because it seemed like there were some very large hurdles for them to clear before they could fully commit themselves to one another again, and there was some air-clearing that I would have liked to have had some more details about. However, I still love that none of these stories happen in a vacuum; that the Young brothers all need one another’s support and usually get it without too much hassle. As we discover more about this family, it only whets my appetite to continue to dig deeper.

Morris is a second chance love story. Morris has moved back to Coral Canyon to be the manager for Country Quad. Since he made his name and money being a NFL football player until an accident sidelined him for good, he makes a deal to do football camps with the guests at Whiskey Mountain Lodge while his brothers are still working on their record. He sees Leighann, his ex wife that he has never stopped loving, working a the lodge too. He wants her back. He decided he is going to keep asking for her number until she gives it to him. But when he attends a wedding and sees Leighann and a little boy runs up and calls her Mama he tells her as soon as the wedding is over they are leaving to go talk. She tells him that she found out she was pregnant a week after her divorce was final. That hurt Morris, but to know they had worked at the lodge together and she never told him. Morris let's her know that he was calling Gabe to find out his rights and they will get together with him to get a custody agreement set up. He was determined to know his son and Eric took to Morris immediately. They set up a 50/50 custody agreement but he still loved Leighann and he asked her to come over and eat at night so they could be a family. Too bad it wasn't like a fairy tale as it was not all happily ever after.

Other family news told in this book was that Blaze and Cash returned to Coral Canyon as he had retired from rodeo. He has a secret that he is keeping from all of them. Next they receive word that Jem has retired from rodeo also and he has Cole and Rosie with him. They move in with Blaze till he can find him a home. That made all the Young brothers be back in their home town with the exception of Gabe but he had started to attend more and more get togethers than previously. But the most important arrival was the beautiful little girl of Abby and Tex that they named Melissa.

I received a review copy of this book for my honest opinion. It's defiantly worth reading!

I think each book in this series has been better than the last. This was a 4.5 star read for me. It would have been 5 stars, but I would need a map to follow the family lines. It is too much for me. I shouldn't have to pull out a diagram for each book.

With the Young brothers being 9 in total, the parents, the significant others or wives, their siblings, and the kids/cousins, it is overwhelming. That is not all. To try to remember the Whittakers, the Hammonds, and Everett sisters, all in one book was difficult for me. I can only speak for myself in this respect.

This book can be read as a stand-alone, but I found it does help to read the books in order. I did enjoy Morris, Leigh, and Eric's story. I got a combination of the famous and wealthy, along with the blue collar and white collar workers.

What pulls them all together is they are down to earth, kind, generous people. They have everyday issues, concerns, and problems they have to work through trying to be happy.

I also appreciated that the characters in this book turn to their faith when they feel in need, but I never got the sense that the author was attempting to force any type of religious belief on the reader.

This was a heartfelt uplifting story about love, faith, loyalty, family, support, and reaching out when in need. I am looking forward to the rest of the Young Brothers books. I think we have Trace, Gabe, Blaze, Luke, and Jem left.

Conflicted… I like the book/writing, but I actually really DO NOT Like Morris!!
He bulldozes her still, and she still cowers or apologizes to him (which was some of the reasoning for her seeking the divorce…) I understand that she’s still 110% in love him & she did wrong by not telling him the 3yr secret, but when he just takes off and then gets his family to show her they can take Eric away… logically mother(parent) trumps others, he has Man-Fits just like a toddler (a.k.a: a man-trum) 🙄 He’s disgusted & disappointed by her when she speaks honestly, especially about the past, doesn’t let her explain before he goes all sour, and she goes meek then gets through some of her explanations… she needs to have that power when she deals with her father or brother to deal with Morris too!!
😮‍💨This was one I was hoping she’d say No Thank You and move on😶 Oh, and that proposal sucked, sorry🤨 and Her vows vs His vow(s).. talk about uneven🙄🫤
📖Liked that there’s chapters for other characters too👍👍
⌚️Loving the new Young Brotherly Wedding superstition … err, tradition⌚️

🍁I have been liking Blaze: “She smiled at him. “You’ve always had a tornado spirit, Blaze. You’re this rushing wind, moving left and right and up and down at the same time.”
He knew that. His momma said he “burned out of control,” and that when she and Daddy had named him Blaze, she hadn’t meant for him to be so destructive. ”🍁

😆oh Gabe… Morris:“You can go in by yourself. They don’t bite.” “No,” Gabe said. “They stab.”😆. Oh, I’m soooo gonna use that line (in real life..lol)💋

How Does Morris define Family Love?

Liz Isaacson's Young Brothers 💞 Stories continue in "Morris (Coral Canyon Cowboys Book 3)". As one of the youngest in his large family, Morris hasn't always felt close to his oldest brothers. But being the new Manager, for his older brothers successful Country Music Group, is allowing him to draw closer to them.

Morris has never stopped loving his ex-wife Leighann. So he pursues her, when they cross paths in Coral Canyon. But how does He respond when he learns they have a 3 yr old Son? How does Morris handle being an insta-Dad? How does God help Leighann and Morris work out their former marriage issues, so they can "truly" become a 👪?

I ❤️ LI's real, warts and all, Characters. I also ❤️ that the Characters in this 📗 have a strong Faith in God, to help them in their day-to-day life. I ❤️ that LI continues the storylines of the other Young Brothers, and another Coral Canyon Series, into this Story. I give this Great, Page-Turning, Inspirational, Family Romance 5/5 ⭐s! I Highly Recommended You 📖 this 📗, to see why it should really be titled: "3 Weddings, a Toddler, and a Baby"!

This Contemporary, Christian, Western, Romance Series should be 📖 in Chronological Order.

I LOVED this second chance romance is part of the Young brothers saga, and I am loving them. With each installment we fall in love with a new cowboy brother. Morris isn't a "typical cowboy" but is now managing his brother's band, and he IS from Montana, soooo he is a cowboy!! Leighann is his love interest in this book and he finds out that after their divorce she was pregnant and did not bother to tell him. It seems to be pure serendipity that they are both back in Coral Canyon again, and when Morris sees his son, he just KNOWS, as him he is like looking in a mirror. So this book is about forgiveness and figuring out how to parent. Will they be able to work it out, or just co-parent? Morris never got over Leigh, so you'll need to read to see what happens. Morris has a lot of other issues to work through with his family as well. You will fall in love with this family, and you get glimpses into the lives of others in the family. The characters are just brought to life and so real! This book is clean and has no cliff hangers.

I love the Young family and I love reading each of the brothers story. I loved Otis and I wasn't sure if Morris was going to be able to compete. But Morris did not disappoint! His story is so different than Tex, Mav, and Otis. But I loved it. I liked getting to know Morris better. He is one of the Young brothers that fade into the background.
I liked getting to know the story of him and Leigh and how they were able to get to know each other again and work through their problems.
I love that this book is so true to everyday things. The potty training and how Morris gets so frustrated with Eric. I can totally relate because I am going through that right now. I love that you get to know about the other brothers also as you read this story. The best part is that these brothers are not perfect and they all have their secrets.
I really enjoyed getting to know Morris story. Great read with many ups and downs and lots of emotions but oh so good.
I can't wait to read about Trace next!

Love the Young Brothers! Morris runs into his ex-wife in Coral Canyon and realizes he still loves her and wants to try to work through their problems. Leighann has been keeping a secret far too long and doesn’t know how to correct the problem she has created. Will true love win out in the end? You will love watching all of the single dads as they navigate careers and being there for the children. There are wonderful interactions between the Young brothers who love each other fiercely even though they are all so different. These characters are more mature and seek God’s guidance in their lives. I can’t wait to read the stories of the other brothers! Don’t miss this new clean, inspirational romance series from Liz Isaacson! (If this is your first book, I recommend starting at the beginning of the series!)

Morris is back, working in the family band fold after Mav steps away. He is working for the band doing negotiations with the label and coordinating the tour. He is still finding his way when he runs into his ex wife at the lodge. He is shocked to find out he has a three year old son he never knew about. Leigh found out she was pregnant after the divorce and couldn’t bring herself to contact him to tell him. Then time just passed. They split custody and coparent except they are not always on the same page with boundaries, discipline and consequences with their son. The love is still there but can they find a happy medium and try again? I also like catching up on the rest of the brothers when I forget them from the previous books.

Morris and Leigh’s story was fun and it let you look at a lot of his other brother’s lives. Their story was like a fairy tale story where the heroes of the story are in love and something tears them apart. You have to see if they will be able to overcome all of the things that tore them apart and come back together.

This story is very different from the other stories of the Young brothers that I have read. Leigh and Morris divorced shortly before his injury that shortened his career. The surprise happens when both Morris and Leigh end up in Coral Canyon and at the same wedding. Morris sees this little 3 year old who looks just like him run up to Leigh calling her mommy.
I really enjoyed this story because it was very different from his other brother’s stories. I would love to say a lot more but it would end up with spoilers, so I won’t.

This is the first book in the series that I have read. Morris is one of nine brothers. I spent half the book trying to figure out which brother was married to which woman and the name(s) of his children. Finally, I made myself a cheat sheet and then found it easier. By the end of the book, I found myself connecting with all the brothers and figuring out the circumstances of their lives.
I have decided to read the other books in this series, since I now feel invested in their lives. Although it was challenging at first, I did enjoy the book and look forward to the next one, as well as reading books one and two.

This is a sweet fluffy read - I liked the story I think 😂 Way too many characters with way too many personalities…this whole series is trying to hard to follow the basic romance book trends with second chance romance, friends to lovers romance and so on but putting a Christian spin on it…well, throwing in a prayer here and there and having the characters go to church or attend counseling doesn’t quite mean that it’s some Wow Christian romance series. There’s no depth and so hard to keep everyone straight…just felt like the author is on a deadline and throwing out super low quality storylines. 😞

Morris has run into his ex wife Leighann several times at the Whiskey Mountain Lodge where she works. They were both invited to the same wedding where Morris learns he has a three year old son named Eric. I like how each of the brothers have a little part of the book. So even though it's Morris and Leighann's story we get a glimpse into what is happening with the rest of the Young family. Really enjoying this series, clean romance at it's best.

This family! ❤️ This family of cowboys with a tender heart. Morris is back in Coral Canyon about to start his third career since high school. He’s managing his brothers’ band but also works at Whiskey Mountain with his ex wife. While attending a wedding he sees his ex, Leighann, with a little boy, Eric. Eric is is the son Morris didn’t know he had. He has never stopped loving her, but she kept the secret of his son. Can he forgive her so they can become a true family together. *I received this book for free for my unbiased review.

Morris and Leigh were married, they had a couple of miscarriages, he had an accident while playing football and had to leave, Leigh decided that the time was right for a divorce, which he signed without thinking about it. Later at the Inn they meet again, and he asks her out, but she keeps saying no. At a wedding, to which she isn't expecting him to go to, he meets a child, turns out it's his son, Eric.
Can they sort out their differences? Do they still love each other?

Another great read in the series from Liz.

Liz Isaacson has such insight on different personalities. Nine Young brothers, Cecily Young deserves those wonderful daughters-in-law she is getting. I keep falling in love with each of them. Such different personalities and lives, and yet they still have a strong family tie. Morris and Leigh had to have given the author fits. To be able to give both sides of their story and to make neither one truly be the bad guy takes real skill. I loved this story of second chances. Fingers drumming waiting on Trace’s story. Consolation is there are still lots of stories to come.

Morris and Leigh

This is the third installment in this series. Morris is a man with a lot of skills, but not always the best communicator. Unfortunately Leigh is similar. They need to learn to communicate with each other for the sake of their relationship as well as their son.

While this can be read as a standalone, it would be best read in series order. I would have given this five stars, but the author takes a lot of time away from the main character to focus on the other family members.

9 brothers in one family. Oh my! Morris is about to get married a second time to his first wife. They met again after he moved back home and discovered she had moved to his hometown to care for her brother, and worked where he worked. She refused to date him for several months. Morris finds out he has a son when the little boy yells for his momma at a wedding. Lots of arguments making up, and more arguments. A little burdensome to read. You also read about all the brothers. Honestly it was too many characters in one book to try to figure them all out.

This story explores a relationship full of love but plagued with issues and misunderstandings. Morris and Leighann are guided down a path of reflection and renewal to discover that love is forever. Other Coral Canyon characters make an appearance and bring with them more problems and new beginnings. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. WOW. So many brothers, so much going on, so many secrets. Leigh has been keeping a secret from her ex husband, Morris, whom she accidentally bumps into at work. Morris has always loved Leighann and wants to try again but can they overcome her secret when it is revealed? Also Tex and Abby have their secret as do Blaze and Trace too. Love this series, the Young family and the extended Coral Canyon crew.
I received an ARC of this book but voluntarily leave this review.

Another wonderful story. So much love and angst exists in the Young family. This is Morris and Leighann’s story. Divorced four years ago, Leigh has kept so many secrets from Morris, the biggest being the existence of his son. A second chance awaits them if they can seize it and work out their problems. A wonderful story about love and forgiveness with larger than life characters. I really enjoyed reading this.

I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Morris is manager of the Young family band. He encounters his ex-wife several times, and would like to ask her out. When he sees her at a wedding he discovers he has a three year old son she never mentioned. The plot of this book includes forgiveness, learning to work together as a family, and interacting with a larger family. A great addition to this series by Elana Johnson.

I love the story of Morris and Leighann, the newest book in the Coral Canyon Cowboy series by Liz Isaacson. This is a story of not just a second chance but a second chance for Morris with his ex-wife. I really like that Morris’s brothers are interwoven into the story to keep us up-to-date on all of them as Morris and Leighann’s story unfolds. There are a few surprises, a secret, lots of sparks and tension along with a lot of hard places to work through. Can’t wait to read the next one.

I can't even imagine growing up with 8 siblings let alone 8 brothers! Morris, Leigh, and Eric's story is beautiful, realistic, and heart warming. I love how family surrounds them to help them get through difficult times and how the other brothers' stories continue throughout each book in the series. It makes the characters feel familiar. This is an amazing story and I can't wait to read the next one.

Morris and Leighann get a second chance?

Morris is a highly entertaining book. I’ve loved all of the Coral Canyon cowboys, but Morris might be my favorite. The problems Morris and Leigh have are so realistic and relatable that I truly feel as if they’re my next door neighbors. And, as usual, I love checking in with the rest of the characters from this series. This story is well written with carefully crafted characters.

Morris

When Morris thinks he saw his ex-wife in town he couldn't believe it. He had never stopped loving her and thinking of her. When he later runs into her he isn't sure what to do. When finds he had a 3 yr old son, he doesn't know if he can forgive her.
Will they be able to make arrangements to both support and care for their son and maybe, just maybe, get back together again.

Really Great Christain Series

I absolutely loved Morris and Leighann's story. Liz Isaacson writes stories that pull me in and make feel I know the characters. I was pulling so hard for these two to work things out and get the HEA. I've really enjoyed getting to know all the Young's and can't wait to read Trace's story.

Well written book about second chances with Morris and Leighann who are divorced but Morris is still in love with Leighann and wants a second chance but Leighann has a secret that she is not sure how Morris will react to. Loved this sweet romance story about the power of love and the things you can overcome if the couple work together.

Morris

Morris and Leighann had been married before but divorced three years prior to their reunion in Coral Canyon. His surprise came upon finding out she had a son that looked eerily like himself. He had wanted to reconnect with her before but after her secret is revealed he wants it even more. Will they be able to get over the differences that broke them apart before?
