Possibly well intended but very hard to read
This was a DNF for me. Text like "The next day came on time" and 'Victoria sah auf Violet hinab; „Jetzt sind wir dran“' (it's page claimed English) doesn't pull me into the story. There are many pronoun errors, which interrupt reading and break any immersion. Often the text will contain "he ... he" or "she ... she" when there should be one of each. The characters in the stories I finished while hoping for any improvement were like cardboard cutouts without any depth.
