My first impression of this webtoon was that I dislike the male lead. He's described as the most handsome man anyone has ever laid eyes upon. Women will literally fall at his feet. Basically every ML ever right? Except this man will literally sleep with any women who comes his way, (I'm surprised he doesn't have an std) while he's ENGAGED to someone else! What makes it worse is that the first few chapters of this webtoon we get his POV and it isn't great. He literally wants to have fun with other women before he gets married because then he'll have to be ✨️faithful✨️.
Anyway this man has been engaged to the same women since he was a child. This women being the FL. And when the female lead literally catches him in the act of infidelity, he then has the audacity to be surprised that she doesn't give a shit about it because it's a contract marriage anyway. Infact, she's known about all of it all along and she's fine with it cuz she honestly has no interest in him. This ofcourse offends him and he is now very interested in her. Saw that coming from a mile away.😩
Anyway I kept reading because I wanted to see how they redeem this entire plot. Well, they did. Once I got to the female lead POV I begun to love this webtoon. (One thing I hate about playboy ML stories is that the FL is always at the opposite end, untouched. This webtoon surprised me when she wasnt that at all.) Once there is more plot to the story it all starts coming together. I don't hate the ML as much. Honestly, I can't entirely forgive him for the way he behaved at the start but I kinda like him now lol.
I guess I just needed to rant a little because I can't stop thinking about how I went 180 about this story.😶

Realmente con todos los tiktoks que me han aparecido le tenía muchas expectativas Y LAS ESTA CUMPLIENDO
Me sorprendió mucho que sea bajo el punto de vista de Cárcel, nunca había leído uno que sea de época, aunque no me disgusto. Es más, me daba mucha risa, cielos
Ines me pone mal, dios la quiero proteger sufrió tanto, sufre tanto, no pudo vivir su vida como ella deseaba, siempre algo, siempre alguien estaba interviniendo. En su segunda vida, cuando vi a Emiliano desee completamente que el fuera el prota, deseaba que todo cambiará Y ESO Q SOLO APARECE DOS VECES, me cautivo completamente, pero luego me spoilee y bueno, Cárcel te daré la chance.

Ok, finalmente me puse al día con el MANWHA y fksnsoa Cárcel te amo sos el amor de mi vida y de la vida de Ines, llévala a la luna por mi
Es muy tierno todo y es tan seria que... me pone triste, incluso toda la situación de la venta de mujeres me dio rabia sumándole que justo ahora estoy leyendo una tarea del feminismo que hace que vea con más odio a los hombres, cielos.

season 2 has started and i just want inés and cárcel to be happy. IS IT THAT HARD?! ugh. i hope she will finally recognize and realise his affections towards her is real. his love is real. it always feel like they're taking one step forward and three steps back.
the art is still impeccable. no complains about that.

ahhhh i love this couple so much. i'm so glad cárcel woke up and realized inés is who he wants. even though the couple's relationship has somewhat improved, we're not at the stage where she's reciprocating his feelings and is still trying to encourage cárcel to cheat. i love the art style as well. i just want their feelings to be mutual such that cárcel can enjoy being with her knowing that it's mutual and for inés to have a happy life in this life.
that kiss in the last chapter!!! omggggg

Está historia es de reencarnación dónde la protagonista, Inés, ha tenido un horrible matrimonio y luego se quita la vida, pero reencarna se nuevo en su cuerpo en una edad más temprana y ahora evita todo de su vida anterior, pero siempre hay personas que intervendrán para que sea infeliz.
En su última vida (la actual) es más astuta y planea todo meticulosamente para que no suceda lo mismo que cuando se casó con el príncipe o cuando tuvo que perder a su familia a causa de nuevo de traicionar al príncipe.
Carcel al inicio me cayó mal, son embargo conforme avanza la historia se conoce mejor al personaje y porque hacía esas cosas realmente, al final lo termine amando.
Espero una segunda temporada, está opinión es basada en el manhwa aún me falta leer la novela que es más extensa y completa. Por lo mientras, me ha gustado la historia y esperaré ansiosa la continuación.

I just finished the 8 books
It was so good especially from book 2-4.
I need to find a man like Carcel
The yearning in the book was crazy
It broke my heart to know that I finished the book and I will not be able to see them again
I tried to read the epilogue but I was not really interested in knowing what happened in this Time Line.
Unfortunately, I was not able to find the side story in English so I couldn’t read it 🥲
