One couple, two coasts—it may be unconventional, but Riley and Asher make it work. Riley's fierce New York career and Asher's lucrative Phoenix sports agency are the perfect balance to their sexy, satisfying marriage. Which is what makes Asher's sudden ultimatum to Riley—leave New York or leave him—so shocking. And Riley has an even bigger surprise in store, forcing her to decide where her heart and future really lie….
Brokering million-dollar deals is easy for Asher; living apart from his wife isn't. But can Asher walk away from everything he's worked for? Or will ambition and drive—the things they love most about each other—tear Riley and Asher apart?
Perhaps changing priorities will make this couple fly even higher….

I liked Hudson Crossing. Riley and Asher were an adorable couple who embark on a long distance relationship, fall in love and get married. They try to continue to sustain their long distance relationship, but it becomes difficult. I was hooked from page one, but the story left a lot of unanswered questions. Asher told Justine Duke he would ruin her, if she writes a unsubstantiated story about him and his wife. She writes the story anyway. Misha and Justine are long time rivals and Misha said it was time they were reunited, after the story broke, but we didn't get to find out what happened. Talib and Misha have a past relationship, which broke up over a misunderstanding. Talib decides he's ready to put the past behind them and win her back, but we are left hanging. Misha confides in Riley that the break up with Talib took her down a path she almost didn't recover from, but the conversation was left hanging. I understand this book is part of a new Mother's Day series from Kimani, however I doubt anyone, but Ms. Washington is capable of tying up the under answered questions in this book. I sincerely hope she writes the follow up stories to answer the questions. I hope that Misha and Talib don't become part of one of those multi-author series. The story would lose its continuity and flow, if that were to happen. There really must be a follow up story that only Ms. Washington can write.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story because it explained Asher and Riley's coming together from beginning to end, and it was over an extended timeframe. The author did a great job of describing the scenes in great detail, and made you feel like you were really there living it with the characters. I can wait to read Talin and Misha's story. Gr8 job.
This story had to potential to go so far but the two of them took avoidance to such a high level that it became annoying and unbearable. Made me want to go smack on the back of the head with a cast iron pan.
