One bright sunny day, a big old tree on top of a hill is inspired by music. This ancient tree suddenly starts to sprout buds that grow into musical instruments. When a crazy storm breaks out, the village is in trouble. The elements shake the music out of those instruments and a melody starts to play. Can the tree’s symphony save a village?

•Children like being astonished, and they seek novels that include everything during their youth. And to meet your child’s demands, we are introducing THE STORM TREE by HELENE FERREIRA. The book’s cover page is well-designed with the target audience in mind. It’s bright and attractive, which goes nicely with the content.
•It is a story of a tree and its daring quest to save a hamlet from a ferocious storm. It all began one beautiful day when the music inspired a large ancient tree on top of a hill. It got so impacted that it began to produce buds that eventually grew into musical instruments! Everyone in the vicinity was enthralled by this. After a while, a wild and furious storm erupted around the settlement, putting everything in threat. The elements, on the other hand, began shaking the song out of those instruments, and a tune began to play. The big concern today is whether the instruments’ symphony will be enough to preserve the community.

•Author has done an excellent job of illustrating the book. The narrative and characters will appeal to children. Even the elderly will like it just for amusement. For your kids, it’s a must-read.
In this glossy, colourful picture book for the young ones, an old tree on a hill has never produced a single flower. But, one clear summer’s day, it sprouted a tiny flute. Thereafter; a guitar, then, a cello, and so it progressed until the trees branches were covered in musical instruments. Sadly, like flowers, the instruments would wilt and die once plucked. The purpose of the instruments thus remained unknown until the day of the big storm; the day that revealed the tree’s true purpose.
The text is in the form of rhyming verses and all references to music and musical instruments are printed in various bright colours. This is a wonderful story to read to youngsters; the anticipation, as the revelation of the mystery is slowly revealed, is tangible and dramatic suspense can effortlessly be created by the reader. As a bonus, young children will learn more about musical instruments whilst they follow the story.
The illustrations are colourful and enrich the text. The simplicity thereof will probably inspire budding young artists to copy them as well. Recommended for English first language speakers from around 4 years old and for second language speakers of around 6 years old.
Encore! Your kids will beg for this again and again - there's no question about it! I enjoyed this one as much as the kids did, I think. Very silly illustrations and fun well-flowing rhyme. Aside from the glamorous, lively illustrations, what makes this book pure magic is its obvious relationship to music.
A great introduction to all the instruments in an orchestra. Vivid and bold illustrations add to this colorful and dynamic presentation - a book to read with a small child before you take them to see their first orchestral presentation. I really like books like this because it helps to 'demystify' a subject that may be overwhelming at first.
Kid's will love the humor, and the vibrant artwork will help give them a subtle introduction to the instruments. I love his musical based books, and this rhyming is superb! The colorful illustrations are a delight. Each page is filled with a variety of pictures. So searching and discovering brings a different kind of fun while learning so much.
I really enjoyed this book. The pictures were so bright and colorful, and the overall style and layout of the book was very appealing. I also learned quite a few things about the instruments myself. Children who love music will also love this book. I cannot more highly recommend this exquisite book.
