Seeking #3

Seeking Forever

Rate this book
Alexis Blake is finally having some luck. A job she loves? Check. A place she calls home? Check. A perfect boyfriend–sorry–fiancé? Check and check.

It looks like the future is bright for Alexis and Robbie… until the realtor calls with some bad news about their apartment and their wedding day is brought forward—to a month away.

Now they have no money, no lease, a wedding to plan, and a bunch of estranged families members to reunite… what could possibly go wrong?

All Alexis wants is a family of her own and a happy ending, but she’s beginning to wonder if happily ever after is possible, or just something that happens in the movies.

Only 2 stars and only because of the mother thing. I'm furious!

I didn’t know whether to wheel her suitcase out the door and demand she leave, or give in to her arms around me and embrace the fact my estranged mother was now here, in my living room.

I know, throw out all her stuff, and slam the door.

The last book in this trilogy was so fun to read, just like the other two! I am going to miss the characters from the series! There were so many cheesy moments and honestly I loved every minute! I just love the writing style of Tabitha Bree and have already started one of her stand-alone novels! ☺️

3/5 ehhh not bad but i just didn’t like how her mom automatically was invited to her wedding and all was forgiven and forgotten?? it doesn’t make sense especially when she walked out 30 years ago !!

i think this book made me realize how little of a connection i felt to robbie this entire series i wish it was dual pov to get to know robbie better and honestly i barley felt the connection between the two of them.

i know i wanted to read short books but i didn’t realize the other two books in this series would be about the same couple, the author should’ve just done one big 300 pg book and wrote a better connection between lex and robbie

also i feel like robbie barley said alexis name? idk maybe i wasn’t paying attention but every time he said her names i would get surprised and then remember it’s her

overall this series is like a 2.5-3 not super bad but there’s barley a connection between the two of them and it’s kinda boring luckily we had mindy and ethan to make the series a little better

4-stars.......Seeking Forever

This seems to be the conclusion to the first two books of the Seeking series or should I say 'the Forever' for Alexis and Robbie. It's a cute story with a lot of twists you'll never see coming added to a bit of banter, not much steam but everything works together to make this a fairly good read. It's well written and with the ending, it's possible the author could add a fourth and/or fifth book and continue Alexis and Robbie's story in the Seeking series. I would recommend Seeking Forever, while it could be read as a standalone, it is better to read it after the first two books of the series.
Even though I did receive an advanced review copy of this book, I am voluntarily leaving my own unsolicited opinion with my voluntary review.

This is the third and final book in the Seeking series.

It takes us through Robbie and Alexis' wedding planning and throws a few twists that I didn't see coming in as well.

What starts out with them being happy with how their life is going gets turned around by a call from the realtor. Then a visit with grandma.. and it all goes down from there.

I was up until around 2 am because I needed to know what was going to happen with Alexis and Robbie.

What I wasn't expecting was the turn of events that went down during their rehearsal dinner. Whew. That caught me way outta left field.

Sophia.. Girl. Your jealousy is showing. Grow up, please.

Ryan.. you're trash. That's all I've got there.

I was happy with the ending, though.

A sweet and lovely ending to a sweet and lovely story that I liked very much.

Thank you once more Tabitha Bree for giving me the chance to read this and to be a part of your journey. A journey where I got to know interesting characters, such as Alexis and Robbie and watch their relationship progress, hit a few obstacles along the way, but eventually get their happily ever after.

This trilogy has been a very pleasant surprise and a feel-good read and I would recommend it to anyone in need of something funny and sweet.

Tabitha Bree you are one talented lady indeed.

“What we had created wasn’t neat, and it certainly wasn’t tidy, but it was full of love and warmth.”

I have absolutely loved reading Alexis and Robbie’s journey. After getting engaged in the previous book, the couple faces wedding and home challenges that force them to become closer than ever. If you’re looking for a steamy, hilarious, romantic comedy, i definitely recommend checking out the Seeking series!

First of all I didn’t read the 2 previous book. And frankly if I did I wouldn’t have read this one. No because of the story who ok, but because I really don’t like Alexia, she is the worse kind of shallow ( the one who think she is not ) and whiny.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A Rude Awakening . . .

Alexis and Robbie are happily living their lives when a realtor calls and one by one disaster erupts. The first bad news delivered is about their apartment, then they have to move their wedding forward leaving only a month to get everything ready. But with no lease, no money to plan the imminent wedding, and family members to manage, how can they get to their HEA?

Seeking Forever was the finale of the Robbie and Alexis story. Due to a family crisis they move up their wedding date and think they are headed for their happily ever after. Some unexpected twists get in the way. Although you could read it as a standalone, you would enjoy it much more reading the full series.

The amount of “oh ship” cringeworthy moments that occurred throughout the last of this series of novellas is EVERYTHING. It’s over the top and perfectly dramatic. I’m sad to have this series be over but I know that Robbie and Alexis will be living in my head rent free for a long long time.

DNF because of the rude and racist scene while apartment hunting. Haven’t we learned that we don’t yuck people’s yum? So many things wrong with the apartment - the “awful smell” of the Indian restaurant shouldn’t have been the determining factor and was unnecessary.

A nice finale to the romance of Alexis and Rob with kooky shenanigans during the wedding week. Enjoyed Ethan, Mindy and Pat as supporting characters.

Ehhh, didn’t enjoy this one too much which is a disappointment. I really wanted something good. Then we didn’t even get to see any words with Ryan??? No thanks.

3.5 stars. Too many scenes featuring very unlikeable people. But cute enough to get past that and still enjoy it enough to finish.
