The way that meeting this book unfurled and the timing at which it was delivered, couldn’t be better!
Of all the seasons that a human might have to go through, although alone but deeply connected to each other in the sense that this poetry and prose conveys.
You are walking on a different path, but you are learning the same meanings as everyone else!
Of loss, solitude, love and faith … we have all had a lesson or two during each season - and poetry is the comfort to know that in this learning process we’re not alone and have that said to us poetically !
Of all the genres I have read this year, poetry is for this season what’s bringing me back to myself, keeping me re-centered and focused!

This was such a beautiful read(more like a therapy), and I enjoyed every second of it. For sure my favorite so far on this month. If you like poetry, this is the one to grab because it had everything; from heartbreak and wounds to faith and selflove.

This is very beautiful poetry. They’re all really short (except for one at the end), but they carry a lot of weight. I would love to read more from this author.

Poems define the imagination of a person. The way words are weaved in the poems is the most beautiful thing that I liked about them.
These poems make you think and upon finishing the book you will be immersed in various conflicting thoughts regarding the philosophy of life. Thus, it serves complete justice to the title.
Before reading poetry, one should be aware of one's own foresight and far-reaching mentality. And I can say this for sure, there are very few books of poetry where the mind is finally expressed through weaving such beautiful vocabulary in such simple language. 'Emerald Companion' by Suhaib Rumi is an Impactful read. The poems & Prose in this book depicts reality and strength. In this book, you will find poetry and prose on topics such as Fall, Solitude, Faith, Desire, Rise, and Love.
Whether you are a Poems book fan or not. You must read this book. I am sure you will like this book Overall, I liked the book . The title is quite appropriate. The writing style of the book is interesting. It's my best read so far, I absolutely loved every page of it. Of course I would recommend this book to all readers...

Emerald Companion is a beautiful book written by Suhaib Rumi. This book is a collection of poems and proses. It is very well written and woven to make the people see and read about life's reality and learn some deeper meanings of the life.
This book contains proses and poems on six different topics which include- Fall, Solitude, Faith, Desire, Rise and Love. The author has explored each and every topic very beautifully and presented some really interesting and lovely poems and proses. It is a very impactful book. Poetry really opens your mind to a whole lot of things and then helps you ponder on the important questions in your life. The topics in this book are really something that everyone goes through in their life. I really resonated with the Love, Fall and Rise parts in the book rather than others. This book really helps you put things in a perspective.
The author has done a tremendous job writing such an engrossing yet short book which you can't put down. Plus the cover of the book is just really well designed depicting the life of a person and how everytime we have to make a choice. I will definitely recommend this to everyone. And hope to read more such meaningful and engaging books from the author.

This book has such a beautiful cover and is a collection of prose & poetry. The poems are comprised of 6 topics namely fall, Solitude, Faith, Desire, Rise, and Love.
“Perhaps the devil’s first mistake was comparison that led to his arrogance”
I loved the poem which spoke about how the world is split between people who feel too much and people who barely feel anything. All the poems are heart-touching and are written with depth. The words of the poems stay with you even long after you have read them. The author pondered on how a lion cannot become a snake and the snake cannot become a lion but man can be both. Man is the only animal who confuses the thrill of hunting with love for his prey. The moon glows differently when you express your love for it.

You threw me to the lions,
Not knowing they're my family.

This poetry collection was brilliant through and through. A perfect weekend read, it's everything you'd want. Love, desire, faith, solitude in just a scoop!
It was not a very huge book but it was indeed written with lots of planning and details. Like I said the book is divided into several parts and and those part give justice to their themes and the themes are so different from each other that they are be absolutely no similarities between any of the paragraph or poems.
I like how it give me feel of every kind of emotion in just 100 pages. Definitely a kind of poetry book that I am going to visit again and again and the best part is I can choose what kind of emotion I'm looking for and go straight away into it.
I'm very choosy with my poetry books and this one is definitely going on the favourites shelf!

Nevertheless the writing is too good and flawless which makes it a perfect read over a weekend for any book reader.Very short poems and I like the extreme simplicity of my language here but for the serious meaning. I have found in this book the unsparing ability to describe the language in a very simple way despite the soundness of the ideas. great book I like it very much.

The book has its contents divided into 6 distinct categories - Fall, Solitude, Faith, Desire, Rise, and Love. Although one would never realize the difference while voyaging through the texts.
Each and every piece of writing feels like as if it holds a deep meaning. Intense enough to make its readers wonder through the alleys of their lives, and their memories, and may even urge you to re-think the same.
The book is full of thought-provoking write-ups and quotes. They are short and impactful. The book is worth a read!

It is a collection of poem.It consists of 120 pages.It's a short read.The poems are on Fall , Desire, Rise and Love.
Most of the poems are candy, chew-sized verses that study like thoughtful charges or a lacking hook from a music.
Of all of the seasons that a human would possibly must undergo, although by myself however deeply connected to every other within the sense that this poetry.From heartbreak and wounds to religion and selflove it has the entirety in it.
As someone who leans extra into spirituality than faith, I tend to shrink back from books that feel heavily reliant on religious morals and/or use a judgy tone. These poems experience more like an inner philosophical talk.

Emerald Companion is a poetry book which consist different poetries under different sections. I really like the way each piece of poetry is inscribed in it. Love the way author has conveyed the emotions through these piece of poetries.
As I'm already a fan of poetries, I love reading them, as it give me a sense of calmness. I totally love the feeling of relaxation after reading poetry book.

The first attraction of the book is its cover page, which is really beautifully arranged, and if you read the book, you will understand its inner meaning. One of the best poems books I have ever collected.

It has about 6 different types of poetry collection.They are
1.FALL
2.SOLITUDE
3.FAITH
4.DESIRE

It is absolutely a perfect book for anyone who's bored of all commonly preferred topics. I recommend all poetry lovers to read the book once.

she cries in the rain
and storms into the hurricane.
All that trouble to mask her pain
in the madness of seeing sane.
All the poems are short simple and easy to understand. The poems are with deep emotions. The cover is so attractive. Recommended to poetry lovers.

oh my goodness this was so good. It’s a poetry book so a pretty easy read. And Rumi is the absolute best.. this book is split in 4 different sections and each poem hits the heart in so many ways. The way Rumi talks about Gods love is absolutely beautiful. And it makes me realize how loving the lord truly is. I highly recommend to anyone! It’s around 100 pages. Easy simple read

🎶 Most of the poems are sweet, bite-sized verses that read like thoughtful quotes or a missing hook from a song.
✒️ Rumi’s short poem:
“Sometimes replacing ‘what’s wrong?’
with ‘what was the best part of your day?’
makes all the difference.”
🤔 This poem inspired me to purchase his book in hopes of finding more thought-provoking nuggets of poetic wisdom.
📚 While there are a handful of other poems in this book that I enjoyed, I found many of them very vague and difficult for me to connect with. However, a poem can hold different meanings to different people. What may not speak to me doesn't mean it won’t speak to someone else. That’s the beauty of art 😊
💭I’m just more of a fan of strong imagery and narrative poems, but this collection is more of a series of philosophical free verses with some melodic rhymes sprinkled throughout it. There are some narrative poems, but they didn’t resonate with me in the ways I hoped they would. However, Rumi shares some great insights and interesting reflections with a lyrical touch.
Other poems that I enjoyed:
“Tears cleanse you eyes.
So you could see
what you couldn’t before.”
Also
“And the heart
places doors
where the hurt
builds its walls.”

💜 I recommend this collection for fans of Rupi Kaur’s style and Nicholas Sparks’ themes. This collection reads like a combination of them both with a hint of Hemingway here and there.

I enjoy reading poetry from authors I've never heard of before. This one was very interesting. While it's just over 1o0 pages, each page has two or three poems on it. I did enjoy my read through it. Some sections were more impactful than others.
