Return to Death
"Return to Death" is a short story by the two-time Weird Tales contributor, J. Wesley Rosenquest. Appearing in the January 1936 edition of the magazine, the story was described as follows: “A brief tale about the ghastly horror that befell the man in the coffin.”
Una gran tristeza reinaba en el pequeño pueblo transilvano de Rotfernberg. Herr Feldenpflanz estaba muerto. Aquí y allá, mientras uno caminaba por las calles empedradas, veía una humedad repentina en los ojos de los transeúntes cuando se mencionaba su nombre. Todos hablaban de él, alababan sus virtudes, lamentaban su muerte prematura. En efecto, era muy querido por toda la aldea.
—Pobre Herr Feldenpflanz —dijo el sastre con tristeza—, era un buen hombre, tan honesto como el día es largo. Y un hombre erudito también. Fue a la Universidad de Berlín durante cuatro años y sabía más que ningún otro hombre en Rotfernberg. Sí, de hecho, era un hombre muy bueno.
El sastre se sonó la nariz con vigor, y sus oyentes hicieron lo mismo.
—¡Y la pobre fraulein Feldenpflanz! Amaba mucho a su hermano. No tiene a nadie más en el mundo. ¿Qué hará ahora?
El sastre y sus oyentes sacudieron la cabeza con tristeza.

Oh, no, no!! How dare you Rosenquest!? How?
At barely 17 minutes, this will be nice to listen to in between whatever you are doing at the time.

I highly recommend listening to it… EXQUISITE!
I loved this short story, it was one of those pieces that tighten your chest. Nice and scary!!
