I only rated this book 4/5 because it’s an older version. There is an updated version out there, and I’m sure I would give it 5/5!

Here’s the updated version on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3S6sJUO

Growth mindset isn’t a new concept. I’ve been trying to encourage it in children for years. But I bought this book back in 2016 and, well, never got past Chapter 1. (I really don’t know why.)

So as this past school year was coming to an end, I forced myself to read it. I forced myself to get past that first chapter. And man! I wish I would have done it back in 2016! Mary Cay Ricci gave me some great ideas to help with the areas I’ve been struggling with in implementation with students!

I definitely recommend this book, but probably the newer version as the summary suggests that the information in this book that is outdated has been updated.
