Love the topic, and have been really enjoy reading it. Good source of inspiration book for daily read. China has been a powerhouse country in such short time, hence there are much to learn from, which the author discuss it holistically in this book. Dragon Tactics comprises 5 management beliefs and practices : 1. Wolf Culture. Hunger teaches life lessons 2. Adapt to change or die 3. The emperor decides. But agility rules 4. People come and go. Those who fit stay longer 5. It all starts with data
Best interesting story is when the author discuss wolf culture under the topic of dragon :). Apparently there are many that we can learn from this animal, as popularly instilled in latest Huawei management concepts and slogans: ‘The company is to develop a group of wolves’. Wolves has 3 main characteristics: a keen sense of smell, an indomitable and relentless offensive spirit, and a sense of group struggle. Now to develop wolves, its nature is to eat meat, and shall this concept would like to be adopted in the company/business culture, the leader need to ensure there is enough meat for every each of wolves. #wulsread
